      I bought a car from them and within two weeks the car started having problems and the motor blew up in the car. The car has no brakes. The rotors and calipers have to be replaced on the vehicle. The motor has to be replaced on the vehicle. The purchase price was over $20,000, and we would like it replaced

      I purchased a Car from America's Car-Mart. The car's engine broke a couple months later. They took three to four months to fix it, so I had no car for that long. Then they wouldn't tell me where my car was while they had it worked on, until I told them I was calling the cops. When they gave it back, the engine messed up again. I gave them the car back because I couldn't deal with not having a car for that long again. They were supposed to tell me when they sold or scraped the car so I could pay the rest. They never did I had to contact them. They have been very difficult to contact. They closed my account so I can't see the active balance I have left. I have to go off what they say. They want me to pay only through the mail with check. They said not to trust that their branch's will report that I made a payment, so it has to go to corporate office. They won't give me receipts for my payments either. I can't give them to answer most the time until I threatened legal action. They seem to not care about it but this being on my credit could affect my clearance with the U.s Army. I am on active orders currently and will be getting permeant active orders soon. This can affect my job. I want to get this resolved and I don't feel comfortable paying without receipts and proper communication from the company.

      I bought a 2015 Chevy Trax in 2022 immediately after I bought it the engine light came on being as I paid extra for the warranty I called them they looked at it. It took them 3 days to get it back to me and the engine light came back on. I’ve taken it too them several times. I’ve taken it to a few mechanics all saying it needs a new motor. Which is covered in the warranty. Car-Mart is refusing to fix it says nothing is wrong. I am sick of getting ignored by them and when I do get contact it’s lies

      I Purchased a Vehicle on April 21, 2023, from Americas Carmart in ****** ********. The Vehicle i left the parking lot with as a 2015 Hyundai Tucson. The following day 4/22/2023 the check engine light came on. I took the vehicle to get a Diagnostic test and the test showed that there was an issue with the catalytic converter. That same day 4/22/2023 i let Americas car mart know about the issue and I was able to switch out the vehicle for another one. The other vehicle was a 2015 Kia Sorento which is the Vehicle I have now. The next 2 days after that which was 04/24/2023, a foul smell came from the air vents. i took my vehicle to a Auto Zone and they were able to tell me that there was a crack in the radiator. The following day after that 04/25/2023 the fuel tank started smelling like burning gas. All of these issues were told to Americas Car Mart and i was told that i could have my Vehicle repaired if i left it at the dealership for 1-2 weeks. I could not do that due to that being my only vehicle. i advised them of that and asked if i could schedule a date for my vehicle to be repaired and i would wait for it while it was being repaired. they said no because they have other vehicles to work on. i then asked if i can switch out my vehicle for another one as i did prior to this vehicle and they again said no. i then asked if i could simply return the vehicle and get back the money i paid for the vehicle, such as a down payment, but they again refused. so now until this day 06/27/2024 i still have ongoing issues with this vehicle and i cannot get them resolved because Americas Car Mart will not fix my Vehicle in a timely manner.

      I am rejecting this response because: I have not been contacted by the business and I have contacted them prior to filing with the BBB and their response was unprofessional and unsatisfactory. Just as they are acting now. I will continue to make my payments on the vehicle just an FYI for the business. But I do not want them contact me directly due to the unprofessional manner I have experienced in the past.

      Had nothing but problems since we bought car January 8th on January 11th I sent them A diagnosis from Body Shop they claimed that they would fix it. It went to the shop. They put a used motor in it. It was in there for over a month get it back out started having more problems. Had to take it in and put a thermostat back still having problems had to fix the air conditioner and the lifters get it back now on the interstate can’t go over 72 without it shutting off he had to get off the interstate turn it off turn it back on lingo. They refused to fix it says it’s not covered under warranty when the whole time this problem has been going on since we got the car is the transmission model now they’re wanting to go back into the shop to get this done. We barely put 5000 miles on this vehicle since we’ve had it since January 8 and the last time I talked with management they said if we don’t get the issue fixed then we could talk about doing something else was not fixed so went and talked to management and they want to put it back in the shop and I told him I don’t have money to keep putting in this car. I paid 530 a month for a car that doesn’t even run right and not say , so now to put it back in the shop fix it but charging me said that they could do a line of credit so we would have to pay that plus a court payment every month and it is not right. We should not be going through this problem, we just got the car in January and we barely put 5000 miles on it because it’s been in the shop ever cents , but steady us put money into it. We don’t have the money to be doing all that they sold us a car and expects us to get everything fixed. Please help help us get this issue fixed.

      I got a 2015 Chevy Cruze from car mart, 3-7-24, it did and is still under the service warranty, within 2 weeks the engine light comes on and they replace the catalytic converter, and since then this has happened 4 more times they replaced the sensors once and then the catalytic converter two more times, and now that the engine light has come back on and is showing the same code again. I had a heat stroke due to having to use the only other car I’ve had access to, and had to miss work, and now I no longer have access to another car and I have no idea how long it’s going to take to fix my situation, and I’m having to take a leave from my job in which I will not be paid for, so more I’m losing not only the money I’m paying on the car but also my income for an indeterminate amount of time.

      Got a 2008 Altima in March 2023 at 4802 W Own K Garriott Rd in Enid, Ok. Total price is over $16000 (car Kelly value is $2022. I pay 600 a month. Transmission went out in Aug 2023. They had a shop chemically fix it. Tranny went out again Oct 2023. We were told it would be a new tranny. They ordered a used one and told us it was new. Tranny went out again March 2024. Still making 600 a month payments, have paid 3 times for diagnosis and 4 tows. The car is still under the 24000 mike warranty. They ordered another tranny and never xalled me back. I called today abd spoke to the parts people. IT again is a USED tranny when the manager told me the last one abd this one were remanufactured but both were used. The transmission shop said this particular car needs a remanned or new tranny due to the design or it will fail again. I've asked for a different car worth the money I'm spending, or to be let out of the loan and return the vehicle. They offered to find a remanufactured tranny or that they will take the car back as a voluntarily repossession that will go on My credit report. My options are to let them ruin my credit for no fault of my own Or continue to pay 16000 for a car worth 2000 that's been undriveable or in the shop for at least 6 of the last 14 months that I have had the vehicle. This is unacceptable and unfair, especially since I've had to pay $280 on 3 occasions for diagnostics for the same issue. Please advise on how I can resolve this.

But still no one from the local branch has contacted me and as far as I know they are still ordering a used part and not a remanned one. Also the GM at the Enid branch said "she doesn't have time to talk to me and grabbed her personal things and left to go get her daughter. "

      Service contract promised me 4 Oil changes. I went to one of the designated companies on 04/18/2024 @ 12:26pm and was charged for the service. I called Car mart about the issue and I was promised a refund. I've been calling them for 7 weeks now and still getting the run around. At this point I'm just tired of calling around

      In September 2023 I bought my first car from Americas Car Mart in *********** ********* In the contract and their policy it states that within the first seven days or a certain amount of miles if you do not like the car or if something happens within that time (like a part breaks etc) they will switch you cars. So 20 minutes after I drove off the lot it went into limp mode (overdrive went out). So I waited a couple days to contact them to see if it continued. It did. So I contacted them a few days later I was still within the mileage and the 7 days. So they asked me if I wanted to trade the vehicle or if I wanted them to fix it. They sent it to *********** ***** **** *** **** to get a diagnosis, and the guy said "It does have something wrong with it, I got it to go into limp mode, but it will need to go to a transmission shop." So I called car mart about what they had said so they sent the car to a transmission shop in Warsaw MO. The guy who looked at it down there put on paper everything it was coding, he said that it took awhile but he finally got it to go into limp mode and he was able to code it. So I gave the diagnosis to car mart. They called him to get more answers and said that he was rude and that they did not like him to they were going to send it some place else. They sent it to another tire shop in Warrensburg, meanwhile the car was going into limp mode more. The tire shop said they didn't have the equipment to diagnosis it but there was definitely something wrong with it and that it needed to go to a transmission shop. I relayed that message to Car Mart. They said they were going to try and find a shop to send it to. That was the last I had heard from Car Mart, they would not reach out to me. Two months ago in March I drove home parked it, and the next day I went out to start it and it would not come back on. I did an entire tune up on the car, when I got under the car to replace the fuel pump I noticed huge holes in the frame of my car, so bad that my frame could fall off. And my car only had one gas strap on it due to it rusting off way before I bought it. The car still would not run. So I called Car Mart ****** the General Manager said that it needed to have an official diagnosis first before he can do anything. But we could be able to transfer the loan onto another car. Well on Thursday May 16, Lotspeich Automotive in Warrensburg diagnosed it and said that it needs a new engine. I called Car Mart over and over trying to reach ****** but they kept saying he was busy and he would not return my calls. Yesterday May 17 I called corporate to complain and he finally reached out to me after they contacted him about it. ****** is trying to repo my car, saying pretty much there's nothing they can do about it and I'll just have a repo on my credit.
