I Purchased a Vehicle that had an engine light on. During the drive test the assciate said it would only take a minute to clear the issue. The Mechanic name ***** told me and and husband that we would need to schedule a day to bring in the vehicle and it would only take 1 day. We brought the vehicle. on Nov 18th after two weeks of purchased and we were lied to almost everytime we call to get an update of when the vehicle should be done. They keep saying waiting for parts. it has been 2 months and we are having so much hard time without any transportation. they wont let me find another veichle. our pre-k has not been in school then and they are not honest with us about our car. we feel like (Husband and I) are being manipulated because we speak english fluently or taking an advantage of us or something. We are having thoughts that because we are brown and we are having to go through this manipulatione.Business Response

I am lodging a complaint against Car-Mart in Eldorado, Arkansas. I bought a vehicle on November 8, 2024 and had an accident on December 16, 2024. Upon filing an insurance claim, I discovered that Car-Mart sold me a vehicle without possessing the title. They have not taken the necessary steps to transfer the title into their name, causing delays in processing my insurance claim. Despite informing Car-Mart of the situation, they have insisted that I am responsible for registering the car in my name. It has been over a month and I am still without a vehicle due to their negligence. I am considering seeking legal advice as I feel that Car-Mart's actions are unjust.Business Response

I made a payment arrangement to pay 240 back to back weeks to catch up my payments. I originally set them up through ACH withdrawals. Both payments were declined through ACH but paid by debit card. My payment is weekly and due on Saturday of every week. I just another 120 today which should have me at a zero balance. They are calling me saying it doesn't show in their system that I've made any of these payments and threatening to repossess my car. They told me that because it shows that on their end that I need to call corporate to sort it out. I've reached out to the them and nobody talks to me I just get to a spot in the corporate line where it asks me to leave my name and number and they'll call me back and nobody has contacted me.Business Response

I have had multiple instances where americas car mart has refused to fix my car and now they’re claiming I owe an extra $1700 for a transmission replacement that was supposed to be covered in the first place. My car barely makes it from a-b, currently having an engine failure, catalyst system is clogged and my o2 sensor has stopped working as well causing me to go 25mph on the highway and unable to properly drive safely in my vehicle. I also have tried to get switched out of my car to a different one due to all of these issues and they’ve refused as well. I either need help getting my car repaired with no cost with the way that it’s supposed to be, put into a different car or given back all of the money I’ve spent on my car in payments for the inconvenience this has caused me for well over a year now since September 29th, 2023.Business Response

My 2012 VW Passat SEL is under warranty and it needs a catalytic convert and the business told me that they would order the part on October 5th, 2024 and in November when I didn't hear anything I contacted the business and was told they needed to find a vendor to order it from, when I was under the impression that it had been ordered already.Business Response

On Sept 20,2024 I purchased a 2011 Jeep Patriot from Americas Car Mart/ACM of Marion IL. Approximately a week after the initial purchase the Jeep had power related issues due to the throttle body, other underlying electrical issues. The vehicle was taken to ACM's preferred mechanic *** ***** **** Marion IL. The vehicle was not repaired as the same issues began to manifest themselves. This was reported to ACM. However In November the Jeep would be totaled. Due to an accident Involving a deer. Which occured between Carbondale and Murphysboro IL. Despite the fact that I had been paying for Insurance through *******, the Americas Car Mart insurance which increased my payment from 108 per week to 128 per week I am being harassed. The vehicle despite, whatever information ACM has is paid off by virtue of the multiple insurance policies in play. Furthermore, I am being forced to pay 128 per week until two thousand has been paid back. Where is this payment going to, then they were also requiring additional monies for a down payment. However now ACM is requiring 12,000 to be paid. They are attempting to garnish my wages.Business Response

I purchased a 2019 Nissan Rogue Sport from America's Car Mart on * ****** *** in Tulsa. I did get the GAP insurance when I purchased the vehicle. On 12/7/2024 my car accidentally hit a curb. I took the car to a shop to get an estimate on the damage. Then I went and spoke to the manager she told me the car was a total loss and to contact my insurance company, which I did. The next day I went to where the car was, *** **** ****. **** told me the car wasn't a total loss and the damage was about $4400.00. When I purchased the vehicle I did get GAP, and the car was still under warranty. I returned to America's Car Mart to talk to the manager about the lie she told me about the car being a total loss. It looks like she's saying that because they don't want to pay for the damage done to the vehicle. I was told to contact my insurance company to have this taken care of. America's Car Mart is responsible for paying for this because as mentioned the car is still under warranty and I have GAP insurance on it also.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: they just want out of it so they're not going to have to pay for repairs. They are responsible because the car is still under warranty.
