              Started going to the practice that later was acquired by Optima. My husband, *********************, needed an ultrasound, and they did it right in the office last year, 2022 early fall. Then the results werent great and told ** we need a ** scan to get a better look. The orders were sent in October 2022. Insurance denied it because Optima filled in the paperwork wrong and hey didnt send the ultrasound results to the insurance. We have attempted every month since, sometimes multiple times a month, to get Optima to send the ultrasound results to the insurance so we can get the ** scan. It is now almost June 2023 and every time we call they say they will look into it and then we hear nothing, no response, even after escalation.

              I have called a few times and have emailed the billing department several times with no response for a refund since I overpaid them. They will talk to you if they think you owe them money but not if you overpaid. I keep getting a bill for $350 that was paid the date the procedure was completed. After Optima took over I kept getting random bills from years past that were paid. I overpaid by $40 and now I cannot seem to get my money back. The $40 was from 2 bills they said I did not pay (but I had) and now since I have a credit from paying twice. The latest bill they are saying I did not pay was from February of 2023 and states I owe $310 out of a $350 bill - showing I do have a credit of $40.
