First of all, American Home Warranty, sent this plumber out for a leaky hot water heater. They in turn, without even coming out, sent out Dry Lux, a company that turned off the water, drained the hot water tank, disconnected the lines (but were nice enough to connect the cold water to the hot water line so I would at least have water in the house) and moved the tank to the front of the garage for the plumber). The plumber came out, and gave me a song and dance about having to replace the copper lines because of crud build up, etc. He said they would contact me to set up a day to replace the heater. I went back to my car and he comes over with his cell phone on and tells me he has the warranty company on the line to verify that it would a charge of $674 to connect the lines. He has me talk to the fellow on the line, who was supposed to be from American Home Shield, even tho he never identified himself. He said that would be a modification to connect the lines and it wasn't covered by the warranty company. I had no choice in getting the tank replaced, so signed the form the plumber had. Since then I have tried contacting this company every day with no results. Apparently this ***** only does texting, and never clears the phone messages. I cannot get a copy of the form I signed form either the plumber or the warranty company! Definitely will not stay with this company, as they wouldn't even listen to me when I called to complain. In fact, the first call they hung up on me. Second call wasn't any better even tho it was to a complaint line.

Horrible service and it would appear they possibly get kick backs from AHS if the deny repairs. They came out(as directed by AHS) since my water heater shut down. While they have no idea why the heater shut down they were able yo manually relight it since the pilot button had broken off. AM PM told *** the gas values was mishandled/abused and my repair of the button was denied. There is no mishandling of the water heater shut down, the button was not there. Avoid this company at all costs as they are clearly unethical.

First of all- the company is not BBB certified and they do NOT do background checks on their employees. With that being said, the technician arrived in a run down white van, the technician did not speak English. Thankfully, my husband was home. The technician looked at the water heater and said it was normal wear and tear. Then provided an invoice for $674.00 for hardware not included for the water heater repair. When I reviewed the information and reached out to *********** they are up-charging 300% per item! I reached out to another plumbing agency who gave a quote for $275.00. I reached out to American Home Shield and let them know of the situation. They sent out the **** company AGAIN!!! This time the tech walked into our house with supplies to complete the repair that I did not approve. I have called and unable to leave a voicemail message for **** to inquire of the surplus charges. American Home Shield offered a cash out for $310 which does not even cover the cost for the Water Heater. Not only will I never do business with them again but no longer trust AHS and feel my home warranty is worthless.

My experience is like countless others. Paid a non-covered charge of $680 for a drain cleaning out but the technician told me he didnt install one. They wont pick up the phone nor return my calls so that I can request an invoice. Not only will I never do business with them again but no longer trust AHS and feel my home warranty is worthless.

I was trying to work things out with them but the stopped answering my emails. They were contracted by AHS to replace my garbage disposal, which was completed in short time. After about a week, I noticed my ** system wasn't recharging and the water out of the spout did not taste right. Thinking there was an issue with my ** system and it was still under warrantee, I called them out to look at the system. They found that the AM PM plumber had rotated the drain tube from the disposal to the **trap, causing the drain hole for the ** system to be plugged. This caused the membrane and filters to be back pressured. I had the warrantee company perform the necessary repairs and called ***** to explain the issue. She said to email her the invoice from the other company. After I sent it to her, she complained that they could have done the corrective repairs at a much cheaper cost. I told her I didn't know the problem was related until the other plumber looked at the system and that it was under warrantee anyway. She was no longer responding to my emails so I reached back out to AHS and their response was that I should have contacted them to have the repairs made. I repeated that I did not know what caused the issue until I called the company responsible for the maintenance to keep the warrantee valid. The result is that I have to accept the cost of the repair myself.I would normally support small businesses, not this one.

AM/PM plumbing is such a horrible company, (I actually have hired a lawyer too go after them, if anyone would like to add their experiences please contact I also have cameras in my garage with audio, & the employees & what they said, which has saved me me regarding my water heater, & have the company they originally sent out ****** for pedestal damage & AM/PMs tech, the ****** employee told me that the water heater definitely went out & needed to be replaced as its from 2007, AM/PM sent them out saying that they needed to come out first to check for water damage before they could install water heater, ****** employee said they would need to drain the water ******************* & remove to do the pedestal underneath, which I had done, the next day the am/pm employee came & saw the water heater on the ground & said it definitely needs to be replaced & said they wont cover it though because its been uninstalled & they cant diagnose, however they were the ones that said I had to discourage for further damage & for pedestal. If you look on BBB they are getting destroyed for same issues, they also never answer thier ************** no way to contact them.

AHS SHOULD DROP AM PM PLUMBING OUT OF ******* ALL TOGETHER AND NOT CONTRACT THEM AGAIN. THE BBB SHOULD INVESTIGATE THIS COMPANY ALL TOGETHER. THEY NEVER PICK UP THE ***** AND ONLY TEXT YOU. THEIR VOICEMAIL IS FULL SO YOU CANNOT EVEN LEAVE A VOICEMAIL. THEY CAME TO MY HOME, NEVER KNOCKED JUST DROPPED OFF A PAPER SAYING I WAS NOT HOME AND LEFT. THEN I GET A TEXT SAYING I NEED TO RESCHEDULE SINCE THEY MISSED ME. THAT IS HOW THEY MAKE THEIR MONEY BY COLLECTING FROM AHS WITHOUT PERFORMING THE JOB.VERY SHADY COMPANY. ***** FROM AM PM PLUMBING TEXTED ME SAYING THAT SHE HAS TO DELETE HER VOICEMAIL SYSTEM THREE TIMES A DAY. THAT IS HOW MANY COMPLAINTS SHE GETS I GUESS SO I AM NOT ALONE. PEOPLE, BEWARE AND DO NOT LET THIS COMPANY IN YOUR HOUSE. REJECT THE COMPANY AND JUST GET AHOLD OF SOMEONE ELSE LIKE I DID. GOOD LUCK.

This company should be shut down and a shame that AHS is still using them for their service. My complaint is identical to one below of ************ They are charging non-covered cost of $674 for "modifications" after asking them for a copy of the invoice the notes are outrageous.Notes- 50-gal gas water heater leaking from the tank needs replaced...the modifications are listed with the out-of-pocket cost. We do have to do the modifications to install the heater due to the manufactures making the heaters eco-friendlier the dimensions on the heaters have changed they are 2" taller and 2" wider so we will need to modify the lines (cut or lengthen) in order to make the new heater fit. We will also need to cut and attach the temperature and pressure valve to the new drain which will have to be relocated due to the dimension change. Lastly, we will need to either cut or lengthen the flue venting. Unfortunately, we will not install without approval on the out of pocket."Funny how they specify they will not do it without the approval of the out of pocket fee. Please avoid this company at all cost and ask immediately not to use them if you are being referred to them by your home warranty.
