2 stars*** WORST PORTAL IN THE ****** Haven't help you if you're trying to pay your bill via their portal, I tried to change from text messages to email communication preferences and was in an endless loop. Called billing. They said call the portal assistance, I called Portal assistance they said to call billing. Call billing they said they don't know anything about why the portal doesn't work. I don't have a copy of the bill because they send it apparently through this link in the text message which doesn't work. Can't pay the bill because it wants the account number from the bill, which I can't get to. Do you see the loop I'm in. 3 hours later no progress. Don't know how they expect to get any payments with this kind of online presence.Review fromlisa Y

I went in for a pain in my side and now they want me to pay $750. They charged my insurance $4.324. and still want more money. My complaint is they are inventing the rates and they are part of an equity firm.Dignity Health Arizona General Hospital

If I could give no stars or negative stars I would. I wont say it was the Nursing Staff. They were lovely and I believe they suffer under the hands of the most unprofessional health care providers I have EVER come across! ****************** and Physician Assistant *****! Yes, her name was *****. I checked the board. I came in for a check on my throat and tongue. Again Nursing staff was great. These two providers played down my symptoms for what I was experiencing. Telling me my symptoms are non existent. As soon as I raised concern regarding my current condition. She went out and got a nurse and discharged me. She didnt take a second look. She continued to argue with telling me I was basically making it up. I feel like I was only being charged for the time I spent sitting in the room. Which is fraudulent in my mind. It was continuous laughter in the hall. Neither provider wanted to take a second at to what I was explaining that was happening to me. I was just baffled by the lack of bedside manner and compassion and sympathy these two health care providers give to patients. Patients come see these providers for help to give comfort to those who dont have PhD. *** pathetic to see this is what health care comes too. I pray these two reevaluate their values in treating patients. They can really harm someone.Dignity Health Arizona General Hospital

I took my toddler son to this external/Outpatient ER. Besides the unprofessionalism of the doctor (gaslighting my concerns and I overheard him talking negatively about my concerns to someone in the hallway) there were limited actual services provided for my son. They provided an IV bag of hydration fluids, a lab draw through the IV to check for infection, and a 5 minute CT of his abdomen. We were there for less than 2 hours with instructions to "go to PCH next time" because they didn't have the staffing to help him and follow up with a GI doctor. The amount billed to my son's marketplace insurance policy was beyond excessive for the treatment and services provided. I have been unable to see the itemized billing statement listing all supplies, services, or reasoning for charges. I have not been able to view a rate sheet listing the pricing for these items. Our insurance EOB is not even ready yet with the insurance company to view the billing codes submitted to the insurance company yet I can see the amount billed was *********. Last September 2023, I had an identical ******************** provided at Chandler Regional. My amount billed to the insurance carrier was approximately *********. My insurance carrier only allowed an amount of $250.00 stating there were multiple billing codes referencing the same services for each item. The excessive billing at Dignity facilities make healthcare unaffordable and unattainable for single mothers like me who work fulltime and do not qualify for any assistance or subsidized insurance. I should not have to choose between my son's life or paying my mortgage for the month for simple diagnostic imaging, labs and a bag of fluids.Dignity Health Arizona General Hospital

Dignity Health contracted under AZ General Hospital bills their patients incorrectly and excessively. I used their urgent facility last December around 1 AM due to elevated blood pressure and headache. I went inside the lobby with just one patient waiting and myself to check-in. Outright the clerk asked me to pay the $250 despite the fact I had not been seen by the doctor or wheeled inside the room. Later, the staff took my blood pressure and had me go to the x-ray machines which I didn't need. I feel the staff were rude and scary in the way they treated their patients. Anyway, I was released in less than an hour and was prescribed to take some pain medication which I picked up at the pharmacy for a $2 co-pay. They have instructions for me to just relax and my going there is no big deal. After a week or so, I received a bill stating that they had charged my insurance for an emergency room stay of $4,017.00, clinical lab, CT scan, EKG, and diagnostic total amount of $9,923. And on top of that, I still owe them $1,380.92!!! Besides this billing, I also received another separate bill from one of their contracted radiologists.I told their billing, I could not afford to pay more for this. So they told me to apply for other types of funding to pay them. I regret going in there that day and will never use that urgent facility care anymore. It added more anxiety and problems. It looks very scammy. I have received several calls with different names from their billing department. I could have just stayed home and taken Tylenol that'll solve my headache for less than $10.00 instead of being scammed and harrassed to pay an amount that is unreachable and unfair.Dignity Health Arizona General Hospital

I've been attempting to contact Dignity Health regarding the excessive billing they charged and used upcoding on my bill to get more money on services that were unneeded. They are attempting to invoice me for a service at a significantly higher rate than what should be charged and continue telling me I need to just pay this. Despite my efforts to address these inflated and fraudulent charges, I find myself continually being transferred between departments without a resolution. I have a detailed record of my numerous attempts to reach out, promises of callbacks were made and never received, and continue getting passed between departments. My intention is to discuss and resolve these billing discrepancies, but unfortunately, it seems that nobody is genuinely addressing my concerns. I was told that the billing manager would have a department reach out to me and yet I had to call the billing department back and find out that the manager has not addressed or taken care of my concerns. This just leads me to believe that they are fraudulently billing services and hope they can *********** around enough to not deal with someone who knows what they are talking about regarding billing.Dignity Health Arizona General Hospital

1 starI had surgery at Dignity Health Chandler Regional Hospital. I loved my surgeon and all of the doctors but the problems began as soon as I woke up. I was suppose to be kept overnight for observation but the nurses decided to discharge me 2 hours after surgery against my surgeons direction. I was too drugged up to fight them obviously and ended up spending the next 48 hours in excruciating pain. After surgery, it took the hospital 9 MONTHS to provide me with my first bill for services. Once I set up a payment plan and began paying over $100 per month, I started receiving notices that I was going to be sent to collections for lack of payment. I was receiving confirmation emails every month saying that my automatic payments were successful so you can imagine my confusion. I was unable to access my account online (and I am still unable to today because their system is down - it has been down for 3 months) therefore I had to call in again. I spent 4 hours on hold being passed around from team to team as they told me I was being sent to collections. The confirmation emails sent from their third party billing system (*******) look like they come from a fake scammers website with no confirmation number or reference number which is not helpful. I don't normally take the time to write reviews for unpleasant experiences but this has been so awful that I want to make sure no one else has to experience this. I loved my surgeon but the facility is by far the worst I have ever experienced. STAY AWAY.
