On June 11, 2024 I went in AutoNation to see what my options were. I have a leased Buick 2022 Encore. I was very clear with the salesman that I was NOT going to anything that day. My Credit had been comprmised and I did NOT want any hard credit checks because I did not want any points taken off my credit score. I wanted to wait for my credit score to go up and told him I wanted to think about it. I wanted to wait, because I still had until November before the lease was up. i was very tired that day. The salesperson got up and here comes ********************* the Sales Manager and brought papers with and fast talked about what a good deal it wasm to pay off GM and keep the leased car.. Before I knew it I was signing. I told them it was not what I wanted. I went home and looked, there had been at least 7 HARD credit Checks. and the loan was high interest, I went back in and ********************* took me to a financial person to tell me it was fine, but he got out of there.i then Called the ** Atorney General and they said to file a complaint. As soon as AUtoNation found out they tried callling me. He was not supposed to call me onlyrespond to the AG's office. *************************, Sales Manager responded with pure lies, saying that I "had approved it." I responded that was not true. Finally, the ************************* said I needed and attorney.I then called ********************* and GM Financial. As I had previously leased 4 Encores and never missed a payment. They filed complaints and told me I should hear from them. I did not. They are the most dishonest group. No one should buy from them. Now I am stuck with high interest just to make them happy. A D- rating is too good from them.Review from Edith R

They checked my credit 7 times after I told them I was no longer interested in getting a car with them. Unfortunately, I can't dispute these inquiries. They're so unprofessional.Review from Tarah N

Experience with sales person (*******) was amazing and very easy. Was told to sign paperwork to hold vehicle with appt to pick up the next day. Salesperson confirmed it was received and vehicle was pulled from lot. Received text 5 hours later that management had sold car from the back lot. Have called to speak to management several times to discuss and once they know it is me, management is always "busy" and have received NO call back from anyone. Do NOT use this dealership. They will s**** you over if it helps them.Review from Ron C

I WOULD GIVE THEM A NEGATIVE RATING IF POSSIBLE! We brought our 2016 Camaro that only had 27k miles on it for an oil change. My wife went to pick up the vehicle and there was a young lady of short stature who brought the car out. When my wife got in, the seat was raised as high as it would go and the seat would not go down. The service advisor was gone for the day and she had no way back to get home but squish down and drive it home. She contacted the advisor and brought the car back the next day and it took 2 days for them to say the motor was burned out but tried to say the motor conveniently burnt out. The last person to touch the seat was their employee and they said it would cost us **** dollars and 3 weeks to fix. During our questioning of the advisor he admitted his employee pulled up on the switch for the electric seat but refused to take responsibility for their actions. So a simple Oil change is becoming an over **** dollar oil change. We were even willing to pitch in a bit as the car is not new but they still wanted over 600 dollars which means a 700 plus dollar oil change. They even had the audacity to say we hope we don't lose you as a customer. They had no problem when I bought my truck and the Camaro the same night but now treat us like this. This is not the first time Autonation has pulled these types of shenanigans in the past, from scratches from the car wash and breaking seat surrounds on my other vehicle. As you can see below this Dealership does everything to avoid their accountability in these matters. It is also evident that their company is not some place people really want to work as advisors come and go there quicker then a shirt change. AVOID THESE PEOPLE THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU!Review from Bernard F

I purchased a used truck in January 2023. I was sold a "bumper to bumper" warranty (Veritas). While driving my truck it turned off on me. The warranty refuses to cover. The cap-less gas spout is broken. The warranty refuses to cover. *************************** sold me the warranty so that I could "peace of mind". What a waste of money. BTW the truck was in their shop for a week.Review from Sharlene S

**************** terrible, communication terrible, quality cars terrible. Drove up from ****** not once but twice. First car was in the shop. Got to look at it in a ********* and was still on a car lift. Mechanic must have forgot to turn interior lights and radio off. Used the flashlight from my phone to look at it. Then after being treated poorly by the staff just decided to walk out. Received an apology from **** about the car not being ready and how we were treated and was wanting to make it right with ** and to return. So dumbest mistake we returned to the lot to look at another car that again wasn't ready. Showed up to get treated the same way by staff. Everyone here acts lost as if no one knows what's going on. **** showed up with the car I was interested in. Thank you to my ASE master certified mechanic husband this junk box would have been purchased. Engine caked with oil. Compound from buffing the car all over the door jams and everywhere. Small tip. If your going to sell junk try to clean up the cover up before you sell it. Don't try to sell it when it's still being worked on. All I can say is brood of vipers here. No one cares. DON'T BUY HERE you will regret it.Review from Brianna C

Do NOT buy ANYYHING from this Autonation ***** dealership in ******* off of Bell road. They all are scammers and tried to get me into a $20,000 car loan for a car that had oil every where underneath the hood. Tried to explain it away with the 250 mile, 5 day money back guarantee and saying that the car just "wasn't cleaned properly". My uncle is an ASE certified mechanic and he knows what he's talking about yet, ****, the salesman, continued to argue with him, over ride him, and try to push the car on **. This was out SECOND time visiting the dealership after an apology for what happened the FIRST time. The first time we made the 2 HOUR/2 AND A HALF HOUR TRIP up from ******, we were shown a 2007 ****** Matrix that we were told was ready to show, IN THE DARK that was up on a lift still being worked on, couldn't test drive it, and no one knew when the car would be ready, what was wrong with it, etc. ***** and **** then proceeded to tell ** that they didn't know why we came all the way to ******* when there's CHEAP cars to look at in Tucson and being nothing but rude and condescending towards **. We never wanted to go back until **** apologized up and down and wanted to make it right, yet only did the same thing and made it worse. **** told ** the car I wanted was at a dealership an hour away which turned out to only be 15 minutes away and the entire store did nothing but play games with **. I have all texts to prove, pictures, everything. I hope this is HEARD! No one should buy from this company!!!!Review from David P.

I took my 2006 Chevrolet Corvette in for service (oil change) as well as a locked shifter and a needed repair for a broken glovebox latch. When I returned 2 days later, on 7/28/22 and picked up the car, i did not notice anything out of the ordinary. Once home, i looked in my new glovebox and found it empty. I assumed the contents and old glovebox was still at the dealer. I came in the next day to pick up the old glove box. I was informed that the glovebox was never replaced, only the latch was replaced. I asked for the return of the contents, a fairly new Garmin Nuvi and a vehicle handbook. They could not find anything anyplace in the shop. The mechanic even explained to me that there was nothing in the glovebox when he was finally able to open it. I explained to him that, that was impossible as I could not open the box due to the broken latch and that the last time i was in the box, the items I described were there. There were other items in the box as well, but could not remember all the smaller contents. After a thorough search, the Service Manager, *******************, agreed to make good on my loss. He told me to purchase a new Garmin Nuvi and to bring him the receipt. I did so, and brought him the receipt for $180.00. This particular model was the not as nice as the one that was missing, but I felt it was fair rather than purchase one at slightly above $300.00. ************** said I could expect reimbursement in approximately 2 weeks. It has been more than two months. I have called 3 times leaving a message that I had not yet received the promised reimbursement. No one has ever called me back. I am therefore leaving the written complaint with the ********************** in hopes others will utilize another Chevrolet Dealer with their repairs.Review from Margie B

I can give no stars I would. I recently sold my truck and after I sold it I went over to the dealership to complete the cancellation of the *** insurance and extended warranty. Received copies of the cancellation form. Paper work contains the process number, manager, store canceling product. RO/DEal Number. Provided proof the vehicle was sold. Three weeks later they acted like they have no idea what I was talking about. I had to fill out another form and now told, oh you only had 15 days from the day of the sell. This is on this dealership. I am contacting the news outlets and BBB and the attorney general's office. I have copies of everything. Sad they are not resolving. Do not buy from here. they are liars. Voice mails were left with *********************************. Today i left with the ** *************************. We shall see if they fix this today. Just sad they cannot return a call. To repeat I completed the paperwork on 06/13/2022. I left the where I sold the vehicle and drove to the dealership within 20 minutes. To say I didn't do it or I did it wrong, no, they did it wrong. They need to fix. There is no accountability, they are about their money and keeping it from the customer. I cannot go down there and sit all day waiting for them to resolve.
