On 2-19 and 2-20 I arrived at 42 ******* in ******* to pick up a item I had won at auction and paid for. The online agreement states the time and location to pick up our items. I arrived to find they were taking a two hour lunch. This is a violation of the online agreement. Today I was told that I was not going to be allowed to pick up my items and was asked to leave. If I did not leave I was told they would call the police. They have not refunded my money. I can't pick up my items even though I have arrived twice at the times listed. I don't think they understand that online agreement goes both ways.

Entered firearms auction 9/18/2023. Won 7 bids for 7 firearms and was sent an email for payment of $4,952.34. Paid the payment and had to come down and do background check. For some reason after 5 days I was denied. So the lady called me and told me they would be sending me my money back and they were going to put the firearms back up for auction. Weeks go by and I still haven't received my money back so I call to find out what was going on. I keep getting the run around for almost 3 months. Everytime I call its the same lady answering and treating me like I am waisting her time. She tells me a lady name **** is the manager and I need to speak to her. I have called 10 plus times leaving my # and **** never contacts me. So I went in today 12/6/23 and finally catch her in the building. She tells me they sent me a check for $2400 and that's all they owe me. Her excuse was that they don't give refunds and since I didn't pass the background they resell the items and send me what was made minus there cut. My problem is that's not what the policy I signed said. I showed her the policy and she told me that doesn't matter and what she told me is how it works. So I told her again that's not what I signed on the policy. She acted like she was going to get the president so I can talk to him and came back 5 minutes later with a card saying he couldn't talk now because he was in a meeting, which now reading these complaints is a tactic they use for their scam. After all of this I just want my full refund which really can't be called a refund because I never received a product to return for a refund. They have totally went against their own policy and need to give me all of my money back. This place is horrible and I will never enter their auction again. I have never been so disrespected in my life all while still showing these 2 females the utmost respect.

Per Sierra Tactical Auctions terms and conditions, buyers who cannot pass a background check must pay a 20% restocking fee or $200 whichever is greater.  In this case, If the money he received was less than the 80% he should have received from this transaction, please have him reach out to our firearms team to get his remaining refund back.

I do not accept this because although I already knew what the policy was when I signed it, the workers also knew the policy. So I contacted the young lady who runs the firearms auction and she tried to tell me that I misunderstood what she was saying about getting my money back. But what was to misunderstand? You all sent me a check for not even half of my money and had already tried to defraud me with some lies that was nothing like what the policy said. On top of that it took the auction almost 3 months and 10 different calls to even send part of my money. So now she says they sent out another check for me for the sum of around $1500. So you all try to scam me then when you get caught you so called want to send me more money with the %20 you were supposed to take out per the contract. As far as I am concerned you all breached your own contract when you tried to defraud me by sending that first check and also taking so long to send me my money back. So I would like to have all of my money back for breach of contract. Thank you

We have the right to cure the complaint and that is what we did.  ****************** is now fully reimbursed per the purchase agreement he made and has no further claims for this transaction.

once again you all breached your own contract and only after I made the complaint to BBB did you try to make me whole. At first you all tried to defraud me. If it was me that did not pay you in a certain amount of time you would have charged me more. So since you all tried to defraud me and send me just $2400, also it took almost 3 months I need to be compensated the same way you all would have charged me. So I am asking for the rest of my money back. You all still owe me $1000. That is not the way you do business. Thank you

I bid on an auction with the terms and conditions of pick up "Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, payment must be made before Friday at 3pm"After bidding and winning a few items in the auction I was sent an email with changed terms, these terms stated that the items could only be picked up Wednesday and Thursday. I informed them that I wouldn't be in town until Friday and would be unable to pick up the winning items until Friday. They informed me that this was impossible and that I would still be charged if I didn't pay before Friday at 3pm. Friday morning, well before 3pm they charged my card, when I called to get my items that I paid for they still refused to let me have the items.

We will be refunding the entire amount due to an advertising error.  We stated Friday, October 13 for payment deadline when it should have stated Thursday, October 13.  We had the date correct but the day incorrect.

Service: Auction Auction Date: 08/17/2022 Issue: Unreasonable and suspect jumps in ***ding.I found this last auctionto be fairly dishonest.ALL of my maximum ***s became the high*** after just one *** increase. ($5.50 showing me as the high ***, then pop after a new *** it jumped to $170.00 my **** ***)I put a maximum *** on multiple items and upon them being *** on by a single additional person my maximum *** became the high*** rather than incrementally rising. (On every item I ***, every one of them.)In one instance there were 6 or more of the same identical items and the jump to my max *** of $170.00 stood out as the other lots remained at $6.00 or less for 3-5 days after. The lots I won were all identical to my **** *** and went straight to that *** *** on the first next rise in ***ding.(They again didn't rise incrementally, they just all went from $5.50 in some cases to $30.00?)As I have *** on numerous auctionsfrom Sierra Auction Management, **** and know how to use the *** versus **** *** options I find the chances of ALL my ***s jumping to my **** *** unlikely and deceptive if not criminal. It wouldn't seem at all likely that when there are a 1/2 a dozen identical items for sale that one of them would rise to $170.00 in a "***ding war" while the 5 other identical items remained at under $6.50.Rationality has to see that as an abnormality. When it happens to all your ***s, that is a pattern and deceitful.

The customer has been contacted by the company via email.  See below:

      Good afternoon,
We are in receipt of your email.  And as I am sure you are aware, we use a 3rd party ***ding platform by the name of ********.  We have removed your email from our mailing list as of today but we cannot guarantee that ******** will do the same.  I suggest you reach out to them directly.

I did look at one of the lots you *** on and have copied the *** history here.  Please note, we have ZERO access to *** ***s for the sake of the integrity of the auction.  But it appears 1 ***der put in a $100 *** 40 minutes after you placed your first ***, which drove the price of this item up very quickly.  It is also possible that other ***ders had put in *** ***s themselves which will drive your *** *** up quickly as well, which is what appears to happen between you and ***der ***** if you look at the timestamps.  This can be more apparent on smaller auctions with fewer lots, as a lot of ***ders like to use the *** *** feature.

As far as notifications on being out***, those come from ******** and your preferences on your ******** account and we, Sierra Auction, have no control over those.  Again, you will need to contact ******** directly in regards to any issues with notifications and what your particular preferences are.

I recently bought a Milwaukee tool kit (item: 2520-21XC, includes: tool bag, tool, battery and charger) at this auction. Today, I went to pick up the item and noticed that the battery and charger were missing. I tried to get a refund because their description of the item was misleading. They were auctioning it as a kit in the description and didn't disclose that "battery and charger missing" or "maybe missing parts" as they describe other items they sell when missing parts. One of the employees told me they couldn't refund my money because I was buying an opened box and it was not their fault items were missing. I tried to explain to him that they were auctioning this item as a kit, therefore a battery and charger should've came with the kit or they should've disclosed items the items were missing. I asked to speak to the general manager ****. **** pretended to be in a meeting and just told his employee to tell me, I was going to wait over an hour to speak to him and that he was going to tell me the same thing, that it was an opened box and I should've known items could be missing, that I would not get my money back. I called **** and left a voicemail, I didn't receive a call back. This auctioning company purposely misleads with their item descriptions for people to buy the items at higher prices. This is the second time this has happened to me. The first time I thought it was an honest mistake in their part, they didn't refund the money but they sold the item and I got a partial refund. **** knows he can get away with stealing people's money because you have to sign/pay before picking/seeing items you bought on Monday. Items can be seen the Friday before, but who's to say they won't remove items after you have paid/sign for those items before picking up. He also knows most people won't do anything about this type of situation because it is not worth the time/stress for a couple of dollars ($118.65 in my situation) or don't know how to legally handle this situation.
