In August of 2018 my husband *********************** went to Risas Dental. There he got his crown on his front tooth. They made him a dental plan of everything that he needed to get done. They told us that we can do payment plans for his upcoming appointments since he needed a lot of work done. The priority was to get this front tooth fixed. They told us to apply for a care credit card and they convinced us so we did. However they did not tell us that everything was going to be charge all at once. They made it seem like we were going to be getting billed as we went through with the appointments and they told us that we didn't have to go through the whole procedure all at the same time we would do it through parts as it was going to be painful. Some personal family issues occurred and he didn't finish his dental procedure. We are still paying for the care credit care with out finishing up the process. We have payed over $1,000 around there. I wish we can get all our money back or at least the money we didn't need to pay, I hope this company can help us. If you need additional evidence please let me know. I will gladly try to provide it

I'm paid to have braces put on my teeth to include two pontics. They were unable to do the lower teeth at the time so I came back at a later date to get those done. When they put on the lower ones everything seemed fine. When I got home, one of the Pontic's was put on haphazardly(didn't fit in the space available) and two of the brackets came off my teeth and another one isn't attached. This was after the first person was unable to put the lower ones on and they brought in another individual. When I called to have this fixed they told me there are no walk-ins and no available appointments for two months(my next scheduled date). They added me to the cancellation list. I've been calling every week to get back in and just found out today that I had to be added to the cancellation list again and there were still no appointments until my next scheduled date and that the other Risas offices could not see me.

I had this company provide a service for me (braces), at the time I got a credit card and paid the company in full. This was about three years ago. During the process the company notified me that my dental INSURANCE will be billed for the service (braces) and I would receive a refund since the services had already been paid in full. I have been attempting to get a refund for the overpaid amount on my account which is everything my insurance paid, thus services were paid in full. Risas dental is not returning my calls and I have tried multiple times to ask the dentist and the staff With no results.

On June 11th I looked up Risas ************************************* online and saw their advertisement of brace advertised as $3,000 paid in full & $3,750 with payments. I continued to read the rest of the websites information. Risas's website states that they are upfront about their cost. Risas stated that they also except my insurance on their site which is Aetna Dental insurance. The Risas website does not state that they charge additional or extra if you have dental insurance. On the advertisement outside Risas Dental building it also states that braces are $3,000 paid in full & $3,750 paid in payments. (risasdental.com)June 13 2022, I called and made an appointment for my daughter to get a consultation on June 18, 2022 @ 1pm. On Saturday June 18th my daughter and I went to Risas Dental and we were told that my daughter could have her braces put on immediately. The tech began to put on my daughters braces and I was sent to Risas billing department. I was told again, "$3,000 for payment in full & $3,750 for payments". I was not allowed to pay in full and I was told I could only make payments. The woman made me pay $169.00 for "deposit". I was not allowed to personally read the contract, and the woman didn't read the contract completely to me. She stated this section stated that you are agreeing to making payments and the amount is $3,750. Again she stated I was required to sign without reading the contract. She told me that she would contact ***************** on Monday and call me. Monday she called me and said "Aetna will pay $2,000 and you still owe $3,750". I told her Risas is not allowed to raise the cost due to insurance caps. I told her that what I owe should be $1,750 - $2,000 of Aetna's payment. I called Aetnas and filed a complaint and fraud. Aetna rep told me they have record, Risas call and asked, "how much can we charge". Aetna's was not asked what they cover. I feel that Risas increased charges by $2,000 because I have dental insurance. This is fraud.

Its June 8th and I cant be seen until September for a tightening on my braces and until DECEMBER for a cleaning. However, they charge my card every month expecting their payment then its a fee of 500 to have my braces taken off! This is absurd and Im requesting for you to get in touch with business to have someone reach out to me.

I called Risas Dental before I came to see if they can help me with pain and infection in my mouth. My appointment was on Saturday, April 30, 2021 at 1:00pm. I waited for the dentist to come in. When he came in he barely looked at me and appeared to have an attitude for know apparent reason. I could not understand why he was acting in such a cold manner. I tried to show Dr* **** the blisters on my inner gums but he did not pay attention. The dentist did not take the time to look into my mouth to see what was going on. As a matter of fact, he did not bring the x-rays to explain what I was dealing with. He gave me a referral to see a surgeon to do a biopsy and refused to give me anything for the pain or infection. I asked the technician, the Hispanic man if he can go back there and talk to him about giving me something for the infection and pain. The doctor still would not budge until he went back the second time. I said to Dr. ***** please can you give me some antibiotics and pain medication, because I am in so much pain. The doctor said do not raise your voice which I adid not I was in so much pain from the infection in my mouth I was literally begging for help from this doctor. He finally gave me a prescription antibiotic and ibruprofen. He had a If it was not for the man tech for talking to him,I would have left the facility empty handed. My wife called and complained how inhuman I was treated and the Manger* **** said that she will take care of it and sent to another dentist in Mesa for my dental needs that was on 4/30/22. My wife called back to see if any progress regarding the complaint and another Manager got on the phone and lied and said that she was there and the doctor did not do any of the things that I said. She was covering up for the doctor and I told her why are you lying you weren't ever there. The doctor was going to give me a stronger pain medication but snatched the prescription out of my hand. I cant eat and still in pain

I do not accept the business resolve to this complaint because it should have been taken care of when I was in the office. Only one person tried to talk to the doctor so that he could give me some medication and that was the Hispanic man. The manger, this was the second manager that I spoke to surprised me when she literally lied and said that she was there, instead she should have remained silent. This was a cover up and I knew that the issue was not going to be resolved with the two phone calls that my wife made to your establishment. To be truthful, I felt as if was dying; I have never experienced so much pain and infection in my life. I suffered after the appointment and for me I can bare pain pretty good but this was beyond what I could imagine. There were times when the pain was so bad, hate to admit but I cried. I would not wish this on anyone. I forgive the Dr. who treated me so bad and refused to help me: I should have not had to beg for medication. My hope is that this does not happen to anyone else and that the establishment take accountability for what happened and more importantly, make some changes how to treat customers.

I have never dealt with an office that is so unprofessional and misleading, I originally had added a credit card to make my first payment after that I went in to make a second payment and I handed another credit card to the front office person and she still went ahead and used my existing credit card to make my payment instead of the other credit car that I handed her and that made my account to be $500 negative on the account. Second time my insurance termed the end of December and I was advised by one of the representatives that my insurance was still making payments on my account due to it was in contract and since I had met my deductible and I wanted to pay the full amount including insurance portion and the representative ya old me that I only owed $34.00 dollars when I was calling to make the full payment of $1,3400 and now I come in and they are telling me that the insurance is not paying and that I owe $1,090 because the insurance is not paying. Honestly if they wouldve taken my payment I wouldnt be in this situation by the representatives giving me false information and this is after she said she spoke to her supervisor.

In 2019 I first visited Risas and inquired about braces, I worried I might look silly with traditional braces, they told me about the clear retainers and how that was a great option for me. I thought it was great and started treatment that day. Since the retainers were new they cost about $1100 more than traditional braces. I received 28 retainers, I would wear each for 2 weeks so I would be finished with treatment a little after a year of wear. Around the end of my treatment I was informed my doctor had changed and I would see someone different. My first appointment with the new doctor was good, he came in and looked at all my teeth with the retainers in and out, something the previous doctor had never done, usually he just came to the door, peeped his head in and asked how my retainers felt and then they sent me on my way with 8 more weeks of retainers. The new doctor informed me that the retainers had stopped working for me a while back and I would need regular braces. Things were
