Came in for oil change. Said they couldn't do oil change due to hoodlatch being broken and couldn't open to get into the engine. Tried to charge me over $500 to fix it, declined to "fix" it. Picked it up and had 0 problem opening the hood.

Service ********** specifically for ID4 disrespectful, dismissive and non apologetic for internal communication. Vehicle booked for recall procedure one week in advance with specific details of recall including reference number. Confirmation received by text and date and time included in the text. I offered to show the confirmation and this was rejected. Service attendant informed me he would have called if he had seen the booking. Unbelievable since I had over the past month left messages for him to call me and none were returned. The last message was to enquire about the recall to be told on arrival that the parts were not available anyway. No apology offered for my inconvenience and informed that there was nothing he could do anyway and I would have to phone in to determine availability. No offer to call me forthcoming and since he never returns messages no hope of ever finding out availability through him. I later called the service manager and was put through to voice mail. I left some details of the morning events and he has not called back. I will never purchase a vehicle from this business again since the responsibility for the service ********** belongs to the business. My past experience with the service ********** has never been satisfactory. I have to phone to determine if my car service is completed and am always informed by the same person that it is which leads me to believe that it has been for a while. I cannot find anything positive to say about Camelback Volkswagen.

Well lets see, in March 2022 Camelback Subaru sold me a car they ended up not even having. I gave them a second chance after speaking to the ** and bought a brand new one. I negotiated the dealer add-on down to $1124, which was only paying for a ZakTek paint protection.A couple days later, as Im reviewing the contract, I realize I had been overcharged by $1930. Called their finance guy and he confirmed that somewhere along the way that extra money just somehow got added. They ended up cutting me a check for the amount Once my car needed servicing, I brought it in. Every time I came in for an oil change, they would forget to apply the ZakTek coating, as it needs to be reapplied every 6 months. The only time they did was after I brought it back in.Camelback would send out emails asking for reviews after every service. Since they failed to apply the ZakTek every time, I naturally left negative reviews. I would also reiterate in every review how I have not had a single interaction with this dealership that has gone correctly.Apparently that upset the service department. When I tried to schedule my 2 year service, I was informed by the service manager that they would no longer be servicing my car. He flat out told me that this was due to the negative reviews. So yes, I was banned from Camelback Subaru for leaving accurate reviews. That ZakTek protection plan, that I never wanted in the first place, was a 5 year warranty on paint. Well, since they now refuse to service my car, I asked for my money back. I was told very bluntly that no, this was not a refundable item. In essence attempting to steal $1139 from me by not providing a service they sold **** ended up filing a complaint with Subaru of America and also calling Berkshire Hathaway Automotive, who owns Camelback Subaru. 2 and a half hours after emailing BHA, I had an email from the managing partner saying that a check for the full amount was in the mail.Avoid the headache, dont buy a car from here.

The absolute worst service I have ever received. My son originally took his car to the dealership for service back in November for an oil change and tire rotation. Fast forward to January, three of the tire lug nuts fell off while he was driving, thankfully the other two was still in place to avoid the tire from completely being removed. We took some of the bolts from the other tires to s**** it to the damage tire so that he could drive it down to the dealership. Upon his arrival, he spoke to two Advisors (****** and *****), he show them the picture of what happened and neither of them showed concerns or empathy towards the situation. Their response was 'that not our fault, there's nothing we can do and refused to even go outside to examine the vehicle'. I'm certain, if it was under different circumstances where they could make money, they would be running to service the vehicle ASAP. What bother me the most, is from the advisor '*****' he made an accusation and stated, 'someone must have taken the lug nuts off for it to damage'. What also was concerning, with lack of respect was the way he spoke to us, playing on his phone, and made zero eye contact while he was talking to us (where I come from that's bad customer service). When we as a customer take our vehicle in, we are trusting the trained professional for their service and expertise to get the job done correctly, I believe as a paying customer, we deserve that. After 30 mins of auguring with the ******, he finally decided to take my vehicle and have it checked. After two days of the car being in the shop, they fixed it free of charge (which I assumed finally realizing they were at the wrong). However, it didn't end there, when I picked up the car, they had the audacity to provide me a tech recommendation, and stated I need the following items repaired totaling over $3,000. They are a bunch of crooks!!! I understand every business needs to make money, but please do it professionally with integrity.

Over two hours for an oil change. The advertised express service for this is very mis-leading.

Buyer Beware ( I would leave a ZERO if I could; not a choice)After a diligent online and telephone search, Camelback VW quoted the best price for a new car we planned to buy. Before leaving for the dealership, I questioned the sales rep again; this monthly price includes everything, and the response was YES.My husband kept telling me to wait; it was not over. We sat down, filled out the paperwork, and submitted for the credit inquiry. The manager steps over to the cubicle after a two 1/2-hour delay. Here it comes, "Oh, I am so sorry, your address was incorrectly placed in the system. It was put in as ******; a sales tax was never included." I called BS; they had our paperwork for two 1/2 hours. They wanted us to come in and figured we would still buy the car.NOPE, they tried this trick on the wrong person. I stood up, and we walked out. While leaving, I told the salesperson how I felt since I had mentioned on our first phone call how they played with numbers last time and would not stand for that.At that point, to be a good business and honor their quoted price, if indeed not intentional, they should have picked up the couple thousand $$ that was "inputted" incorrectly.I will NEVER call them again as I research my new cars. We are a VW family, and they lost our potential business permanently. After this incident, I contacted the dealership where I purchased my previous vehicles. Again, buyer beware. The sales tax money will actually roll into my payment, but I would recommend that you confirm your loan terms and interest rate before signing the documents.Do not go into a car purchase indicating how much you want the monthly payment; you want to negotiate the final price and then back into the monthly payments. Dealerships can play with numbers and interest rates to fix that figure, but you may be paying more.Ironically, the car I now own is the same one on the Camelback lot, which was transferred to another dealer.

My Subaru was in the shop for almost 3 months! After it was supposedly fixed I took it back about 5-6 times because of issues and every time they said it was a new problem! Started off with the engine, got a new one, started overheating, they said my A/C had a leak thats why it over heating charged me ****** for that continues to get hot but they said it was normal which I never had this problem before! Every time it was something new wrong with the car! That mechanic obviously didnt do a good job on his diagnosis! They avoided my calls and emails. *** originally told me after 1k miles I had to bring the car back for a free oil change so I do so and guess what? He never said that lol! They ****** me off to the point of having almost 20 year relationship with this dealer that I will never ever do business with them again! **** the service manager is a joke! As I said they duck n dodge my emails and calls I have so much more to say but dont have the time anymore after a 3 month journey of still to this day having a car not running correctly! Yeah they goodwill some parts for me but again not my fault! Your mechanic should of taken care of everything that was wrong with the car while being in the shop for all those months! I hope they lose Subaru dealer license!

From the beginning it has been an extremely poor display of customer service. I purchased a vehicle on the 11th of December and a week later it broke down while on vacation. I took it to a **** dealership in the area for repairs and attempted to call and text my salesman, ******, receiving no response. There were some issues with the vehicle that arose during the 1st month of owning, such as more electrical switches that were not responding, leaking oil from the front and rear differential, and frame squeaking while backing up and rolling from a stop. I had called into the dealership and spoke with the receptionist to have sales manager **** contact me, which never happened. I drove to the dealership on the 10th of January to check on my parts and find out they were never ordered. If I had not talked to **** they probably would still not have been ordered, and they were part of the promise when the purchase was getting completed. **** offered to get me into a different vehicle to alleviate some issues and the vehicle that they showed me was missing options I currently have along with mismatched tires, and things that needed to be fixed! The numbers were ran and finance wanted to roll a little over $7,000 of upside down cost into the new vehicle because the market has changed. Why even bring a deal in if it is not comparable to my existing loan? It didnt make sense. I asked if my parts would be installed and **** agreed they would and when I addressed my other concerns he stated I would have to schedule a time with the service department Great! Now more out of my time dedicated to having your dealership fix problems. On top of that he could not guarantee a loaner vehicle while mine would be worked on and I live 35 miles away. Now on the 24th I call into the parts department, I have yet to hear from anyone again and come to find out my parts have been in for a couple days. Surprise surprise!! I havent even made my first payment yet. Stay clear of this dealer.

I took my 03' Passat w8 in for new headlights..after explaining that I wanted orig lights, I paid $2,500.00 for lenses because I never even received bulbs. How do you replace headlights without letting customer know they are not going to replace bulbs as well. Also, when they told me about my airbag recall , I stated I did not want it touched 3x..well, when I went to pickup my car airbag light was on, I told them I didn't want it touched but they had already taken part out and now several (4-5) months later..I've been driving around with NO airbag and light on because they are still waiting for sir again or so they say..not very safe if you ask me!!! I'm done dealing with them..if you can't trust a dealer who can you trust. Sad...

I bought my brand new vehicle from them in May. The salesman was very friendly and helpful. Two days later I had to call the service department because my check engine light came on. The service advisor was very rude. I had to go back to have the same issue fixed two more times and all they did was turn my check engine light off. The advisor kept telling me that he didn't build the car so he doesn't have the answers. Everytime I went in or called I was on the brink of tears for how dismissive they were. They also made me feel ridiculous for asking them to explain the features in my car. I am NEVER returning to that location again. If you anyone wants to go to a VW dealership I highly recomment ******* VW. They are kind and honest over there. Camelbak VW has by far the worse service I have ever received. They make me regret buying a car from them.
