I have attempted to contact twice to get a refund, with the Last contact on 12/23 requesting a refund with no response.Here is the email thread Your refund is in process and we will let you know when it mails. I gave them the $1000 refundable deposit and is became clear they breached their contact as the car has still not been produced. I also cannot get in contact with them and have tried several different ways to do so. Is there anyway or anything I can do ? Thank you very much for your time. This customer can reach out to us to process the refundable reservation. The email address included here does not show a reservation, nor do we see a request for refund in our system for the email address. When the customer communicates with us and has a refundable reservation in the system, we issue refunds. Made a deposit to Elio motors in August 2014 for purchase of a new **** vehicle.Vehicle has never been produced and no clear response from the company as to status has ever been given.I have requested a refund on multiple occasions and have not heard anything back. they only can say they are still seeking funding and it may be 72 months from the date of completion of such funding.I would like to have my ******* deposit refunded.Initial Complaint

I am writing to you concerning a *******, *******, business by the name of Elio Motors, **** (www.eliomotors.com). In 2016 I made a $1,000 deposit to reserve a vehicle. If you go to their website you will see Click to Reserve Yours Today! which brings you to a page entitled Reserve Your **** Today. The car was supposed to be produced in late 2016, and then in December 2016 they pushed it to 2018, and in November 2017 they pushed it to 2019. For the past few years they have had no updates and the company seems all but dead. I am writing because I would like a refund of the $1,000 I committed and paid. My reservation was the all-in non-refundable reservation, but since the car is not being produced and since I believe theyve breached the contract agreement, I would like this money returned. I did not file this complaint sooner because I did not know this company would not make good on this, and its only recently become clear the vehicle will not be produced.
