      I am the Treasurer at ************************************* in *******, *******. In April I called Republic Services and told them we were canceling our service at the end of the month. I received a bill a few days later and paid it. In May I received another bill and called Republic and reminded them that I had called in last month a cancelled the service. The lady I was talking to said it takes 30 to 60 days to close an account. Our ********************** bill is almost $100 a month, I told her that they weren't going to drag their feet closing the account and soak me for another $200. now the say the church owes April $96.86 May $97.95 June $35

      In in May 2024 I called the business to discontinue service at the end of the billing cycle which ended at the end of the month of June. The lady on the phone told me they were going to charge me $40 to pick up the bins however, I told her I was not going to pay $40 for them to pick up their own things. I just received a bill for $177.91, $40 for each bin and some arbitrary taxes and fees that I have no idea why they're charging me. I called them and asked what was going on and they said that they could simply cut it in half. However, this is not an acceptable resolution. I'm not even interested in paying $40 for them to reclaim their own property. This is their problem. I'm certainly not going to pay $40 per bin and pay some fees that are not associated with picking up bins like a waste management fee?

      On July 3rd 2024 which is our regular pickup day (Wednesday) my trash container was not emptied the truck pulled up to container paused and went on, since July 4th was on the next day I called ***************** spoke with customer service on July 5th customer service rep stated they were sorry would try and get my trash picked up that day but could be the following Monday said they may not have a driver, I stated to the rep Monday is fine but if my trash is not picked up this week I will be due a credit for this week since my trash was not picked up, I asked the customer rep why was my ********************** not picked up said she didnt see a reason why trash would not have been picked up. I called back later that day and asked for a credit; billing person said it would show on my next bill. Saturday morning my trash was picked up: Next pickup July 10th truck came rolled right by my container again and proceeded to pick up other trash on street I immediately call the *****************, spoke with customer I asked has my account been flagged why is my trash container being passed by, she put me on hold to look, said only thing she saw was I requested a credit but they picked up my trash , I stated but my trash was not picked up on the regular day which is what prompted me to call July 5th so the credit couldnt have played a part in my trash not being picked up on July 3rd, rep said they will have my trash to be picked up the next day July 11, trash was not picked up, I called customer service again the next morning and said my trash did not get picked Thursday either I asked rep again why has my account been flagged rep said he did not see a reason why my trash is not being picked up, rep said they would call that area and have scheduled a trash pickup for Friday July 12th by 6:00 pm, no truck came to pick up my trash. It is Monday morning July 15th trash not emptied. I need to know what is the reason my trash is not being picked all reps said did not see a reason.

      Republic Services was my trash service provider for the last few years. They consistently raised prices to the point where it was double the cost of other local providers so I called them to cancel. They told me there would be a $46 fee for them to pickup the trash containers and that they would be picked up on 7/6/24. It is now 7/14/24 and the containers are still at the end of my driveway awaiting pickup. I cleaned them on 7/5 but now it's stormed and the mailman may have hit and damaged one of the containers while I was travelling last week. But the bigger issue is that they are now trying to bill me $92 ($46 per container) for pickup AND they are trying to charge me a $5 late fee on an invoice that I just received yesterday. They are horrible to deal with and have made it nearly impossible to contact them and resolve this. My final bill should be for $46 total (not $97).

      Called ***** and advised it is standard $6.00 per container but was only advised of one charge per CRC call so I will enter credit for the $46 for 2nd container and waive the $5 late fee. Advised working with operations to get toters removed from property asap. They are schedule for Friday 7/19 but working with them to get removed sooner

      So Im a residential customer and my ********************** container was not emptied on my scheduled day. I called Republic and was told it would be emptied the next day which was yesterday. I told them this was very important to me as we are having a big outside party today. As I write this our container has still not been emptied. I am very disappointed with being told one thing but experiencing something totally different. My container remains at the end of my driveway waiting to be emptied. What have to say to Republic Services is do what you say you are going to do.

      My trash is not being picked up when my Neighbors trash are being picked up. Its been a routine for me to be calling them at least every 2-3 weeks for a missed picked up which I shouldnt have to do. These garbage collectors are lazy. They pick up my Neighbors but not mine. The cans are positioned in a place where Its supposed to be and still Not getting picked up.

      Will send courtesy truck to service on 7/16/2024.  Supervisor and driver advised to monitor and take proof of service photos or advise why service not being provided..  Will continue efforts to contact customer and resolve.

      Will send correspondence that outlines service requirement guidelines.  Must be out by 6am.  Must be free of obstructions by a minimum of 3'.  Must not be overweight.

      I had a bulk item pickup scheduled for 7/10/24, which is also our normal trash collection day. No one picked up our trash, or the bulk item. I called customer service they told me everything would be picked up on 7/11/24. Again, nothing was picked up, and then I was told it would be picked up the next day. And again on 7/12/24 nothing was picked up. Now I have them scheduled for Monday and they are already 0 for 3. This is the fourth pickup missed in a month. If I am expected to pay my bill on time, services should be completed as scheduled or in a reasonable time frame, which this is not. I want to be refunded for 4 pickups and I want all of this trash removed. I tried customer service, every person told me something different, and it just seems like a dead end. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

      We have been very short staffed and running behind on routes.  I did reach out to Mr. ************************** apologized and explained to him that I just received info on his issues today 7/15/24.  I gave him my info and asked him to reach out to me from now and on concerning any issues with SW, REC or Bulk items.  Mr. ************************* is satisfied that I've reached out to him and resolved him problem and will keep in touch with me over any issues moving forward.

      I was told my trash would be picked up again, and again it wasn't. I still have a couch sitting at the curb, and I still haven't been credited for the missed pickups. I was given a new contact number, but it really didn't solve my problem. They chose the bulk pick up day and every make up pick up day, and have never shown up.

      Republic debited my bank account $116.67 for the next quarter even though I had discontinued their service effective at the end of the last quarter. I had also turned off the auto pay option on my account, but they used it any way.

      I was informed that the material in the photo was metal and billed the free due to it being "hazardous waste" placed in my recycling bin. I've explained that it was not metal. It is plastic and indicated in Amazon as being 100% recyclable. I've provided the link to the product and photo. I have not paid this bill. While I could easily do so, I won't. The bill should be zeroed and if anything is sent to a credit bureau, it should be retracted.

      I spoke to ***, regarding his contamination dispute. In reviewing the material and his attachments, it looks as though we made an error in identifying the plastic material as non-recyclable, when in fact it was recyclable. I confirmed my finding and the subsequent crediting of the outstanding balance. *** seemed happy with the resolution, however was frustrated with the lack of efficiency in resolving.

      I started having my trash picked up in March 2019 by Monument Trash. They were bought by Republic Services in 2022. Republic has increased the trash fee over 50% during the last two years. The City of ************** began offering trash service in my area at a greatly reduced rate and I called Repubic Services to cancel. They informed me that a $22 container pickup charge would be accessed. I told them that I had never been informed of this charge and nor was I agreeing to it. They said there wasnt anyway of not paying it. I refuse to pay for something I never agreed to. My neighbors have all quit Republic and they were charged the fee and none of them ever agreed to it. Republic is now threatening me with collections.I dont think its lawful to charge a fee without informing the person prior to actually charging it.
