      They set up 3 year "contracts" for small businesses then consistently raise rates without notice. If you choose to drop their service you are charged an outrageous fee ($920.20 for me) just to be able to get rid of their service. They still have not removed my dumpster and they are still charging me for them showing up once a week to empty the dumpster I'm not using and have told them to get rid of. This company is preying on small businesses.

      Republic company has stated they are utilizing GPS and AI technology to capture any overfilled 4 cubic yard container. So far we are getting these fees from other addresses. They told me I have to call in to have the incorrect fees removed. I called for 8 months and there isn't any improvements. If you aren't checking you are being charged invalid fees. They don't appear to be working in this as this is generating extra money.

      These folks never delivered my trash bin they have caused trash to have to be laid in my yard. Their answering machine accepts payments (press 1) but to leave a message ((press 2) it hangs up immediately. I called and they apologized and said a can would be delivered and they still ****** up and it never showed !

      I spent more time calling about missed pick *** then getting service. Canceled the service March 31st due to another missed pick up. They said they would be our on April 7th to pick up the containers. Repeatedly called after that did not happen. Now we are on the third week of these containers sitting in my yard. Called today April 18th and now they are telling me there system is down for bin removal so they have to call me back. After ****** review they asked that I email customer service. Did this on April 21st. They responded on April 22nd stating someone would reach out and the issue is escalated it is now April 25th noone has contacted me and the containers are still in my yard. Plus the have not refunded the credit on my accou.Worst company I've ever dealt with. Beyond frustrated

      Billed me for a rate increase applicable to the last two months of service for which I paid one full year in advance. Bad business practice.

      Raising prices over and over again until they steal from you.I recently canceled my service, they billed me the next payment period because they bill through the end of the month. Billing through to end of the billing cycle makes since, but charging me after I've canceled my service for another month is theft. Large companies stealing money whenever and wherever they can should be illegal, But this is the world we live in. Our only recourse is to write a review no-one cares about. Shame on you Republic Services, You thief

      Have used the company for over 24 years, prior to the buyout. In the past ***** months we have had nothing but issues about every 5-6 weeks. They have missed pickups and even come on alternate days, then don't pickup or charge extra for the pickup, or charged for an overage, even though they missed the prior week. And, although we have tried to reach out several times, the phones go unanswered and the last time on hold for 22 minutes before being disconnected and then tried again before giving up, tried to reach out via email or chat or something, anything. For some reason there is NO way to get ahold of them anywhere, as they don't answer their one customer service number, Couldn't find anything on the website, etc. ******* for ANY phone or email from Republic services. I've never seen a company TRY to hide the way to contact them as much as Republic Services has. Mailed in a cancelation as we weren't getting service and after 3 months they responded and should have called them to let them they know there were issues....HA HA!!!! Mailed cancelation, they DEMANDED that we stay for another 3 years as we signed a contract in 2010! STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

      What a terrible experience. Every billing cycle increased with no explanation. Then a week ago they decided they were not going to pick up recycling any further and picked up our bin with out any notice. They then proceeded to raise our rate by over $50! When I went to cancel they said they would match the rate of whomever we were switching to. So they admitting ripping us off for the past how many billing cycles of they could meet a lower price. Absolutely terrible.
