    On May 31st 2022, I sold a vehicle that I had purchased from Rodeo (Earnhardt) Hyundai. I was informed that I may seek a refund for extended warranty and gap coverage I had purchased with Rodeo Hyundai. Upon contacting the location of Rodeo Hyundai, I was informed that the location I had purchased the vehicle from was sold to another dealership. In lieu of this, I was given the contact phone number for the office manager at North Scottsdale Earnhardt Hyundai, and informed that she would be able to assist me with the refund. After a dozen calls and leaving several voicemails, I was able to get ahold of her and she sent me a cancellation form via email on June 24th, 2022. I returned the completed form with all required documentation on June 27th, 2022, and the office manger informed me that they would begin the cancellation process. After 1.5 months of waiting for the refunded check, I attempted to reach the office manager via phone, around August 15th, for information regarding the refund. I tried emailed, called, and left voicemails over the series of two weeks without response from the office manager. On August 30th, *****, I asked the customer service representative to patch me to a different employee who may be able to assist me. I was forwarded to a different phone # where I left a voicemail. That night I finally received a phone call from the office manager. She acknowledged that this was unusual that we had not received a refund and that she would attempt to get it sorted out as quickly as possible. She informed me that she would call Financing HQ in the morning and then call me to inform me of how it was being resolved. Today is now Sep. 2nd, 2022 and I have still not received contact from her. I have called the business and her direct line several times without response. When asking for the general manager for assistance, I was told that I could not contact them. They're staff has shown negligence and general unwillingness to assist my refund request.

    Earnhardt Hyundai North Scottsdale (NSH) is aware of Mr.******* ********** NSH acknowledges Mr. ******* frustration over the delay in the processing of his refund.  NSH has diligently pursued this refund; however, the delay has been largely attributable to some technological issues with the warranty companies, as well with their approving and issuing Mr. ******* refund. **************** should be receiving both of his refund checks in the mail in approximately ten (10)business days from this response.
    NSH had reached out to the customer on August 31st with an update on the status of his refunds, and will continue to keep him updated.  NSH denies having committed any wrongdoing in or violating any applicable laws or regulation in this matter.

    I would like to reopen complaint 17899030 against Earnhardt Hyundai North Scottsdale as my issue is still unresolved. In their response to my complaint, the business agreed to provide me with two owed refund checks within 10 business days from September 8th. I have received one check for $619, but have yet to receive the second check that is around $1800. 

    I attempted to contact two managers (office and finance) at their location and left voicemails but they have yet to respond.

    Would you kindly assist me with this? Once the final refund has been received I will gladly remove my complaint against the business.

    Earnhardt Hyundai North Scottsdale (NSH) is aware of Mr.******* ********** **************** should be receiving both of his refund checks in the mail in approximately ten (10) business days from September 16th.  NSH continues to encourage **************** to reach out to the dealership if he does not receive the refund checks by end of the week from this response.
