This theater does NOT accommodate persons with DISABILITIES. My family went here to watch a christian movie, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, at the ********** 12 location. Staff kicked my wife and daughter (who has Cerebral Palsy) out of the theater DURING THE OPENING CREDITS! We hadn't been in our seats 10 minutes before we were kicked out. The movie itself hadn't even started. Absolutely terrible experience. There was no warning given. Staff was unapologetic. If you have children with disabilities, go to Cinemark - we haven't had any issues there (yet).Harkins Theatres (Corporate Office)

4 starsI've always loved going to harkins and it's mostly gotten better ovr the years as many of the screens now have the loungers. However, they get one star deducted for no longer having the popcorn seasoning in the lobby. It was a highlight being able to flavor your popcorn just how I liked it. Sounds dumb when I say it, but it really did help set harkins apart. They do have food and drinks now at some places, so that's good. Overall, still a great theater.Review fromKelly and Ed R

Hello we have been a patron of yours since we were little kids. I am now 60. Our family made a decision to see a movie after our Christmas dinner. We decided on the ******************* movie. Poor Things. I read the description at least four times that was listed on the Harkins website where you choose what movies to see and to pay for. And yes I do know it was rated R but I had no idea of how much *** there would be over and over and over and over and graphic and over and over again. Why was it not rated X? It should have been. There shouldve been a parentheses after the description of the movie which said nothing about that at all. Not a single word. My family couldve made better choices. I couldve made better choices.. My young adult daughter sat next to my husband. Which was to say the least a bit more than we bargained for. We could have all made better decisions. Too bad we couldnt really appreciate the filming, the costumes and the acting. I did leave the movie. Why couldnt you have put a sentence in the description about this. This is just so unfair to your costumers. I understand that maybe you didnt actually make the choice but someone in the Harkins business could have asked that whoever is connected with the movie that makes these decisions to put some kind of caption warning. I mean really thanks a lot. Extremely disappointed. Just please give your patrons a heads up. We are owed that much. I feel totally bamboozled here..Harkins Theatres (Corporate Office)

I have been a loyal patron of Harkins Theatres who regularly views 1-4 movies a week. But this is a review of the new Lake Pleasant Cine Grill. First I was shocked by the notice on the door that they only accept electronic payments, no cash. I had bought my ticket on line, but if I hadn't, I assume I would have had to buy it at the bar. There is no concession stand, and the ticket taker said I could refill my loyalty cup at the bar and purchase popcorn, at an unspecified premium, at my seat. The prices for anything start at $10. And it's totally ironic how they show announcements not to ruin the experience for others, yet they have waiters who can't help but do so. No notices on line, or at the theater, warn customers of any of this, and the place for comments the Harkins site is now missing or submerged somewhere I was so excited to have a Harkins theater 10 minutes from home instead the two I've been going to that are both 30 minutes away. I think the worst of all this is the bad taste I'm left with after being embarrassed by the disrespectful way this was all presented.Harkins Theatres (Corporate Office)

Don't purchase a gift card for online use.!I have been texting Blackhawk the company Harkins uses for gift card issues. It is apparent I'm dealing with a ROBOT!The online program accepted the gift card but the whole charge is on my **** Ive sent them my **** confirmation on the tickets . When I try to use the gift card for a different movie the balance is 0. Blackhawk just tells me to use it again. I have tried several times I've asked for a new card, which would be a simple fix. They have acknowledged the gift card was not used for the original tickets Bad customer service in regards to gift card issues.Harkins Theatres (Corporate Office)

1 starArrived at the theater and was scanned in at the door. Told where to go and stopped at the bar for a beer and some popcorn. Adri was a delight. Headed to the theater with my elderly father and began conversation. We had arrived nearly 45min early but wanted to catch up. We were the only ones in the theater. We chatted and enjoyed our beverage as the other patrons began coming in. The movie had nearly started and two guests came up and said we were in their seats. I had the same information they had and they left to get management. Manager came in and asked my father and I to get up for the other guests after seeing that both tickets had the same seat numbers. Not sure how he made that decision? We did not budge and he asked to take a picture of the ** code and said that we might be here on the wrong day. I immediately asked if that would have been caught upon entry to which he replied that no it would not be caught and we let you in. That was surprising. He comes back in and then changes his story. Says that the girl up front should have caught the issue and didn't but our tickets were for the day prior. I then inquired about the discrepancy in his wording to us. (So they don't just let you in with expired tickets!) He would not show me proof of the date purchase either which was strange and shady. If what Senior manager ****** says is true than the girl up front did not properly do her job and we are now the ones subjected to scrutiny. If this implication were true then we could have resolved it up front 45 min prior. This is where Harkins refused to accept any accountability. They needed to own the mistake and practice proper customer service. Not blame the patrons. Kind words and thoughtful resolutions keep the peace. This is not what happened at ******** Harkins. I will not be back and will certainly be telling my story to others ensuring that they second guess attending this facility. 1 starI am not a racist or a begot but I find the introduction of ****** movies not appealing to me or my family. As for the number of movies out I think that many could be offer instead of the Indian movies offered. We go to the movies often but find lately none that appeal as Indian movies seem to take up slots that could be filled with other English speaking movies.
