Representative called and asked if I would like to advertise my business on score card sheets for 2 local golf courses for a total of $1700.00 for 2 years. I agreed to it. Paid the $1700. Never received a contract. They sent me a proof of my advertising logo, I agreed it was ok to proceed. This was in March of 2024. 2 months later they sent me another proof to approve. I stated that I had already approved this and why wasn't this already in production. In August 2024 an unauthorized amount of $999 was charged to my credit card. It took a few phone calls for them to agree to refund me. It is now December, no score cards have been in production and sent to the two golf courses according to what they agreed and assure me. I requested a refund. I received an email stating on November 7th "Direct Fairways, LLC will issue a refund of $1,700. Upon receiving your affirmative response to this email, I will ensure that the refund is processed within 72 business ******** confirming, you acknowledge that this action resolves any outstanding issues and addresses any complaints against Direct Fairways. Please respond with "Yes, I agree" to confirm."I replied immediately with "yes I agree".2 weeks later a follow up and state that I have not received the refund. They have given me a run around of first, they cannot refund my original card and a check will need to be sent. A week later, I follow up, and then they state that they can only refund $998 to my credit card and the rest in a check will be sent. My credit card they have on file is inactive and cannot be refunded. I sent another email asking for specific dates and times of when the refund check has been issued and when the credit card was supposedly refunded, and I have received no response. They have already agreed to issue the refund but refusing to do so.

For several years direct fairways has harassed me by phone to buy an advertisement for some of the local golf clubs in our area. This year we decided to sign up and get the whole back page for one of our local clubs. It was 1500 dollars for two years on the back page, here we are 6 months later and they are attempting to charge my card an additional 800 dollars because I only paid 1500 dollars for the spot but placing the art in that spot is now an additional 800 dollars. I told them no were not doing that and I would like to cancel any further business with them as a company. The billing woman said thats impossible because the score cards with our ad on them have already been printed for 2025 when we all know this is a lie. If this was true why are they harassing me every spring to buy an advertisement slot for that years score cards. I have also golfed at the local club several times this year, our advertisement was nowhere to be found on the score cards. This is a fraudulent company and just a well thought out scam. I wish I had read the reviews prior to moving forward with this company.

In May 2024 I was contacted by Direct Fairways to advertise with a local golf course. I asked for verification then contacted the course to verify they were working with Direct Fairways. I know the owners of the course and contacted her directly. I went ahead and agreed to run an add for $399. I haven't heard back about this for months and had forgotten about it. They called me a week or so ago and stated they were going to print and wanted to confirm the artwork. I stated I did this months ago and said it was good go. Then I just noticed my credit card bill this month had a $749 charge from Direct Fairways. So I looked back at all my statements since May. I found that they had charged my card 4 different times. Once for the initial $399 then again for $350 then 3 months later for $399 and again in October for $749. I only authorized the first payment of $399. During the last call I stated that this add was to be run this past summer and I questioned why it hadn't gone to print already. They didn't give a good response but said they would send me the finished product. Its been over 2 weeks since that call and still no product. This company has very shady practices. I'm lucky to have caught these transactions and I hope all who have come in contact with Direct Fairways to be diligent about checking their credit card statements. I also can't believe they're still going and haven't been shut down. I write this as I'm on hold with their customer service. It's now been 42 minutes of music and 2 minutes talking with their agent. I believe they're waiting me out. More shady practices. Give me my money back and stop the terrible business practices. So in all they've charged my card for $1897 and it was not authorized. I suggest that everyone here that has had issues also file a complaint with the ************************************ (****). This Business needs to be corrected ASAP.

Thank you for reaching out. We are still in the process of contacting the client to address and resolve all concerns. According to our records, the client reserved placements on both the scorecard and the course guide for a 2-year term. The amount charged reflects the agreed-upon cost for those placements.

This is our first year working with the golf course, and we have sent them a proof for their review. Once theyve had an opportunity to request any necessary changes, we will proceed with printing.

Please feel free to contact our customer service team at ************ so we can discuss this further and work toward a resolution.

Back in August a company called me about an opportunity to advertise in local golf courses so I took it. They said it wouldnt take too long to get them out there. I paid $550 for 2 years for 3 courses and theyve came up with excuses over the course of about 4 months. I got a call today on 10/28 saying they sent me art again to review which it was the same art I approved 3 other times and then I get billed with another $550 and when I called they said that was the printing fee. My year time frame starts in August but my ads havent even gone though printing 4 months later and I get charged with another fee I never agreed on. I gave my card information over the phone which wasnt smart but I have been scammed before and this feels identical. Also, looking back at it $550 is insanely cheap for three two year courses. When I called them they didnt have direct answers for me, kept putting me on hold, and said I could not get my money back. Im scared theyre going to keep billing me since they have my information and never even get the ads out. I also did a quick search online and found many people saying the same thing and to contact the BBB. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!

In 2022 I had a sales *** from direct fairways reach out to me and offer to put my buisness ad in golf course panflets for $399. I agreed to this deal and gave them my card and information for the ad. A month or 2 later they called again offering for a longer running ad and another golf course and i paid for that as well. A while later they called again saying i owed more money as I didn't pay the full amount. After paying a total of $1148 and being told multiple times they were waiting to send the ads out I reached out to the golf courses directly and they let me know they didn't work with direct fairways. I reached out several times over the last 2 years to direct fairways for a refund and they refuse and pretend they are still going to send the ads out. I would like a refund for services not rendered and for them to be shut down for scamming people and offering a product they don't really provide.

This Spring, late April I paid for an advertising campaign at a local golf course. A summer golf hand out flyer. The company who is making the flyer has not printed the flyer. It is August 8th and summer ends where I live when the kids go back to school in September. I feel that the company has not fulfilled their job and delivered a product in time for the summer season. I contact the company asking for a refund and they are not willing to give me a refund and say it is unreasonable I should expect them accomplish what I paid for before now. Not a satisfied customer at all.

On July 12, I was contacted via my office phone number by Charles Kane, a representative at Direct Fairways. He told me he was working with ****** ***** **** **** in ************** ** to put together their annual golf program. He called to ask our company to be a sponsor. All the information he emailed over to me looked legit, and the contact he said he had at Timber Banks was a legitimate employee of the golf course. I used my personal credit card to secure an ad for $500. To double check the validity of the service, I called their contact at Timber Banks to confirm they were working with Direct Fairways. He did not answer my call, so I left a voicemail. A few hours later, he called me back to advise me NOT to work with Direct Fairways as they are a scam company. I called Direct Fairways to cancel our ad reservation, and they told me there must be a mistake, they could not issue you me a complete refund, but would give me a $100 courtesy refund for my "trouble." I am not happy with this resolution, as this is no way to do business and I can see now that they have scammed other small businesses. I'm sure they have stolen thousands of dollars from people of good faith. I want no affiliation with Direct Fairways and no further contact. My ideal resolution would be to receive a full refund of $500 and for Direct Fairways to endure legal consequences.

Direct Fairways contacted me about advertising in their yardage cards at ***************************. It sounded good and I said let's give it a try and paid the $399. They then proceeded to contact me every single day for a week pitching me on an upsell to buy the same at more golf courses or for more space in the existing yardage card. I told them it sounded great but I wanted to speak to 2-3 happy customers first. They hesitated and this caused me to do research where I found many derogatory complaints on reddit, bbb and other sites and told them that I understand sometimes people have a bad experience and go after companies and I could overlook that if they would simply let me speak to 2-3 happy customers. They claimed to give me a happy customers information to speak to them and when I called I just got voicemail and couldn't reach anyone. I asked if they had any other references and they refused. As they wouldn't provide any references and were rude to me I requested a refund and they refused. They have done no work for us, nothing was provided, nothing was printed and they are clearly a scam organization. I recommend running for the hills if these guys call you.

We have no interest in working with your company and never signed anything with you.  You never did any work with us and we want a full refund.  We are contacting the secretary of state today about this as you are clearly taking advantage of us and other businesses every single day and we're going to do everything in our power to make sure nobody is swindled like this from you and your group ever again.

I was cold called on 6/13/24 to advertise on a local golf course's yardage card. They offered me 2 years of advertising for $400, and I paid. Two weeks later, I get a text from Brad that says they are working on ad placements and I need to call him. I texted back that I was at a conference and to email me, but he was persistent that I needed to call him. During the break that day, I called and was offered an additional, much larger ad placement at another golf course for $800. I said no, so they dropped it to $500. I said no again, and then I heard a supervisor in the background saying they could approve it for $350 as a final offer. I stated to email me the details since the conference break was over, and I would review it the following week when I was home. A few days later, I noticed they charged my card for the additional $350 the same day they talked to me without my approval. I immediately texted Brad and emailed them several times to refund my money, but I've never received a response.
