This company sent a letter to me about a factory warranty. I called to see what was this about. Then they proceeded to TRY and pressure me into paying for a warranty without anything to look over. Of course it didnt work. They were extremely rude and had an attitude like I need to pay them or else. SMHReview from Kevin W

Evercare Direct is the administrator of vehicle service contracts.We DO NOT obtain consumer information. However, 3rd party agencies that sell our policies do and obtain information from a variety of sources, including but not limited to, public and freely available records and databases, online form submissions, web advertisements, and referral partners. Scam. I received a scary-sounding letter yesterday (7/1) saying I need to respond by 7/11 and that my service vehicle contract isnt activated and if my factory warranty has expired I *will* be responsible for paying any repairs (emphasis theirs).My car is 9 years ********* been paying for any repairs for a number of years. Trying to find out who sent this letter I had to read it several times before I saw the company name (Evercare Direct) in the smallest print at the end of the last sentence on the page.Review from Finley W

I keep receiving scary "time sensitive" letters from ***********************, who is the Program Director of Evercare Direct about my car's warranty expiring. The problem is, I purchased car new only 2 months ago. I'm sure **************** is just looking out for my best interest, but it seems to me that if my factory warrant is good for almost 5 more years, then I probably don't need to purchase another service contract at this time. There was also some question about my eligibility, and that this might be the ONLY time they contact me. I hope I'm eligible for THAT part of it because I'd rather not be contacted anymore.Review from Bruce L

All signs point to SCAM. Of course they want you to believe that they represent a legit car company (ours is ******* But there is no real evidence that they do. If someone does not identify themselves (or their company) its a scam. Here's a hint, if this was from the manufacturer they would know your VIN. By all means do not call!Review from Maneesh L

My wife received a letter today from this company. The letter had a sense of urgency that we needed to reactivate a warranty and a brand new Tesla 2024. The letter is very predatory. It was obviously a scam from the beginning when I started to read it. I called the phone number listed on the letter. No one picked up the first time. I called again and someone picked up. He told me he did not work for Evercare direct. He gave me the name of another company. I told him off over the phone. I told him to stop sending the letters. He insisted his company was legitimate. I feel like senior citizens and other gullible people can easily fall for these scam tactics and be scammed out of hundreds if not thousands of dollars. Why would a brand new 2024 Tesla need to have a warranty reactivated by a company that is not even affiliated with them?Review from Dale H

Scam. Sent extremely misleading letter designed to look like it came from the auto manufacturer identifying my car specifically. It is difficult to identify that the letter came from this entity.Review from Brennan S

Scam. The other reviews say it all, but the exact same happened to me. They were very aggressive on the phone and pressured me heavily to give payment info. I put them on hold to talk to some friends, verified it was a scam, got back on the line and declined their services. The guy on the phone got upset and called me ******* a few times before hanging up.Review from Moe M

Scam. Sent me a time sensitive letter in the mail saying I would be penalized $300 for private use of my car. The letter used misleading verbiage that made it seem like it came directly from my car manufacturer. I unfortunately signed up for the coverage since the man on the phone told me this was something I was already paying for and I was just renewing it. Lie. I called to cancel once I read the reviews of Evercare on the BBB and the woman on the phone said I was making it up that my letter said I would be penalized $300 and asked me why I signed up in the first place if I was just going to cancel. She then tried to convince me to consider one of their lower tier coverage options if it would be financially easier for me. When I told her no she said my money (which they took out IMMEDIATELY) would be refunded to my account in 5 days and then hung up on me. Hopefully she wasnt making it up about the refund or else my bank will be receiving a phone call.
