The government should probably close Evercare down. But they probably wont because its lawyers are careful to walk the line but not cross it. Here is what they do: send a car owner a letter warning that their warranty is about to expire if they dont extend. They do everything possible to make it appear that the letter is coming from the vehicles manufacturer. They do this to make the letter appear more legitimate than it really is. They also do everything possible to disguise their own identity. A call back phone number is very prominent, appearing two or three times without ever identifying who you might be calling.I simply will not do business with a company so deceitful. As soon as I determine that there is no senders address the mailing goes into the trash.

Scam. No return address. They are trying to make money off people for services they dont need, and even for those who dont need coverage. Dont fall for the official business attempt to make this letter look legitimate.

Scam they did the same as every other review on here sent paper saying my vehicle warranty has lapsed that I would be liable for expensive charges and assuming this was the company that works for the dealership I just bought my car from I activated it first then called dealership to find this is not the right company my warranty is thru and they told me my warranty was still active.I called company customer service to cancel service less then 10 mins later and some guy tried giving me a speal talking bad about my dealership I told him I dont want to hear your speal and he told me to "Shut up and let him talk or he wouldn't cancel shit" I snapped and told him to **** my d**k that I reported fraudulent charges with my card company" had it been in person I would be going to jail! I hope the next person reads this before you fall for their scam like I did. Partly my fault for falling for their convincing paperwork I'm probably out $189 if dispute doesn't go my way but at least the monthly recurring payments won't happen. But if they get the first payment out of everybody that's $189 every person they get I can imagine how much this scam has gotten from ppl like me! I'm ashamed I fell for this!

This business is a scam. They send a letter that states "official business" on the letterhead. They let me know "Our record indicated that you have not contacted us regarding the vehicle service contract on your vehicle." They know the make and year of my car. They also mention that if "neglecting to active your coverage you will be at risk of being financially liable for any and all repairs after your factory warranty expires." This is a scare tactic. And they they say *** reserve the right to to revoke your eligibility for service coverage if you don't meet eligibility requirements. What???? They are making me feel left out if I don't go for their scam? They want me to call to confirm my vehicle info --what? They are looking for personal info. They are confirming nothing. They just know I have a new car (name and year). My car is a brand-new car and is 4 months old. I do not need a service contract. I feel they are scamming folks that might be confused as to what a new car warranty entitles them to. They wanted me to call and give them my VIN number. They do not have a return address on their letter (my first hint of a scam). I called the number and stated I knew it was a scam and the person immediately hung up. I wanted to let them know I never want to receive anything from them again. This company is using scare tactics to obtain infomation from me. Which I did not give them. They need to be put out of business. I want to be removed from their deceitful mailing list. If they had put a return address on their letter, I would have sent it back to them.

I started receiving letters saying my car warranty had expired and I needed to call them to extend the warranty, confirming vehicle make and VIN number. I had just purchased an l-certified ***** hybrid and had warranty on it for 2 more years. The company charged me $189/mo for the next two years and then I would get 2 years of free coverage. I spoke with my car dealership and they said these letters are scam. I called the company to cancel and ask for a refund for the fraudulent charge of the first month. They said "this is definitely not fraud" then they transferred me to customer service, then after waiting on hold customer service said they'd transfer me to an account specialist who manages the cancellations, then I waited on hold again and customer service answered. She put me on hold, tried to explain the benefits of the coverage and convince me to keep it. I said I wanted to cancel and didn't feel comfortable paying $189 per month for two years when my car is already covered for two years for "free" as part of my purchase through the dealership. Ultimately she cancelled it and refunded me the $189, so she says. I asked for an email to confirm that she processed it and she said they can't send an email to confirm it, but she could send me a verification code. Insane that they don't have an email confirmation with the details. DO NOT PURCHASE COVERAGE WITH THEM.

    To Whom It May Concern:

We regret any frustration or confusion this matter may have caused. Our company takes customer concerns seriously and is committed to providing high-quality service. We would like to clarify the following points regarding the complaint:
Warranty Coverage: The letters the customer received were sent by our marketing team to offer additional coverage for vehicles. We understand that the customer may have been misled due to the confusion around existing coverage, and we apologize for any misunderstanding. We strive to ensure our communications are clear, but in this instance, we recognize that there may have been overlap with existing warranty coverage.
Cancellation Process: Once the customer contacted us, we immediately took action to cancel the warranty. We understand that the customer did not wish to continue with our coverage, and as requested, the account was cancelled, and the first payment of $189 was refunded.
Refund and Confirmation: We do offer refunds for customers who wish to cancel their coverage. In this case, the refund was processed successfully, and the customer was informed of the status. We apologize for any confusion regarding the verification method. Our companys current procedure for refund confirmations involves sending a verification code rather than an email. We will work on improving our communication regarding this process.
We value all of our customers' feedback and are taking steps to improve our practices to prevent any future misunderstandings. We apologize for any inconvenience this experience has caused.

I got a letter in the mail which was hard to understand, so I called the phone number and without answering my questions they said my 2023 ***** had a warranty that expired at ***** miles (not true) and demanded I pay about $200 to start their policy. When I told them I was not going to do that, the man got upset with me for using swear words and hung up.

****! I received a notice from them stating that my factory warranty had expired. This is a 3 week old vehicle with 600 miles on it. They stated they were evercare and then after the phone operator hung up I called back and a new person answered as Solaris Automotive. They wanted $3000 to extend my active factory warranty.

They should be investigated and shut down. They said I owned a 2024 *********** already had the *** Number. I own an XC90 and they could not authenticate the *** number. They said the warranty would cover if I broke down, needed towing or any repairs on the major system, BUT this was my final notice they would see if they could push it through. I was playing them to see how far the lie would go. They came back to the phone saying that they got special permission to push me through. The insurance would only be 218 per month for the next 18 ************* would send me a card good at any ***** dealership with only 100$ deductible. I told them I already had coverage from the dealership and they Hung up! I called back got another person same lie but this time it was 287 per month and the warranty would last until 2032!. I am 57, I told them they were liars, that they didnt have my *** and he said how could I say that, I said first of all you got the wrong car model. They are sending out fearful letters to older people & trying to scam them into a coverage that does not exist. ***** ********, the CEO should be in prison. Arizona Attorney General go get these idiots and shut them down. They get 1 star because I have to do that to have this posted.
