********************* is a racist. She hired me in place of some other woman named ****** who was older and she literally said she was too old to work for her so shes definitely ageist. I was put to work the day right after she hired me. I worked on my birthday this year, the day right after my birthday, and the Fourth of July with no time and a half. No thank you, no happy birthday, and when I told her in the future, moving forward, I would not work holidays without holiday pay, she decided that I wasnt a team player enough for her and she just fired me this morning through text. I havent gotten a single complaint from any of the vendors, any of my coworkers, nor any customer, all the reviews that they used to get that were negative before I started working there **stopped** happening while I was working there. I told her you hired a rehired *******, who is, indeed, a racist. She would literally talk to me, a Mexican, about how Mexican immigrants and their children are ruining the ******* school systems, she would say Whenever you see a black boy in here, dont let him in. If he has a backpack, immediately take it from him. Assume the worst, theyre mostly always here to steal. I literally could not pick my jaw up off the floor. Im stunned that **** knows that shes racist, lots of her vendors have issues with ******* because of her political views, and the fact that she cannot leave them at the door. The four ******* business next-door that just moved away, told me be careful with ****. We hate her. Shes disrespectful, self-centered, doesnt know how to handle conflict, but I shrugged it off, because I didnt think **** and I would ever have any kind of confrontation or drama. *****, the redhead, is also extremely disrespectful, and **** shows favoritism to the white girls. I wonder if she only fired me because of my skin color or because of the fact that I was unwilling to be bulldozed over when I asserted boundaries over how much I deserve.
