      I purchased a trial membership and cancelled before it was over. Then I got billed saying I purchased two different memberships. I never used it after the trial period thinking it was cancelled. I have a copy of an email saying I cancelled and they say I purchased a different one. I’m just trying to get my money back for something I didn’t use at all.

      People finder do not clearly state they are signing folks for a monthly subscription. I access their service payment what seemed to be a 1 time fee for service and was charged 2 times a month 19.95 for a service I only used once. When I reached out to them to bring the fact that they do not make it clear that you are being charged and signing up for automated monthly subscription. They acknowledged I only used the service once and it is not stated that your are signing for a monthly subscription. They refuse to refund the monthly subscription amount that was being charged 2 a month. For 1.5 year for almonds $700. This are predatory charges since it is not clearly stated it is a monthly charge.

      I am a senior citizen that lives in California. I signed up for PeopleFinders and 30 minutes later I cancelled. I have written to them numerous times and they keep billing me. This happened in June of 2023. I now have a new credit card so they can't bill me anymore. I want this company to pay me back for the charges.

      Hello, on June 11th I checked a phone number online that keeps calling. When I wrote the phone number on this website it showed that there was information blurred. This was my first time using a website of this style so I proceed to make a payment of 0.95 for a single use to check this number. During the payment the screen showed if I was interested in a subscription which I declined and paid for the single use. After the payment was processed the website showed NO information at all could be found about this phone number. I had been lied with misinformation to make that payment but I didn’t complain since I had authorized this payment. I never received an email from this service or website. On June 14th I woke up and my phone had a notification from PayPal showing a $24.95 payment from People Finder. I have not purchased from this website during my sleep or checked the site at all! This company subscribed me to their program while I had only purchased a single transaction. I please want my $24.95 back. As I never logged in to make that purchase. In fact when I went to the website I didn’t even have a password or account created I had to check online how to “unsubscribe” and that is where I found out these has been happening to lots of people.

      On June 8, 2024, at 2:56 pm, I signed up for a free trial from this company. I attempted to cancel my trial membership within minutes because I could not find the information I was looking for. During the cancellation process, they list an option to subscribe to a lifetime membership as well as cancel. I was using my phone and pressed the wrong button. As soon as I realized my mistake (3:00 pm), I canceled my membership (3:01 pm). Nevertheless, the charge went through and when I called the company on June 12, 2024, they did not attempt to rectify the issue. Rather, I was told that my membership was not canceled - despite what the cancelation email stated. I requested an immediate cancelation and refund, which they denied. In response to my inquiry, they sent an email stating that the "automatic renewal" of my membership was canceled.

      Transaction for membership: June 4th Used the website service it was great, But I didn’t always want to log on. So I download the app, the app is telling me I don’t have service and kept prompting me to pay for it. Called the customer care line and they said I should be able to use the app with my membership. Made me take a video and they sent it to IT. I told them I will and I did that. They said just use the web version for now. I asked for a 50% discount, because I mostly got it to use via the app anyways. He said no can do you have used it on website so we can’t do that. Im only receiving half of what they said I can do for the price of it alll. I told them I’d be contacting the BBB because they make it seem like you’ll have access to both, and even they say you should have access to both and won’t refund you when they are even admitting fault.

      I cancelled my subscription over five months ago. This company still continues to take money out of my bank account. When o contacted them they told me to log into my account and delete my subscription. I no longer have an account. I deleted it when I cancelled my subscription. They will not help me with this issue they keep ignoring my emails and giving me the run around. I want to be reimbursed for what they took after I canceled it. They have been taking $75 a month!!!!!! I CANCELLED THIS!!!!!

      I had purchased a trial from this business. It was less than a dollar and I had I believe at least three days to cancel. I had canceled the trial the very same day that I had purchased it and I have proof of canceling and I was told that I could still use the Site up until May 2, 2024. I have not used the site but they did charge me their monthly fee. When I called to figure out why they charged me a monthly fee after I had already canceled the trial the same day that I purchased they told me that I had been offered two trials and I had only canceled one. That was not transparent on the page. I never knew that I had canceled two separate trials. It’s not true. I think that this is an unethical way to do business.

      I used this site one time and it was under $1 at the end of April and cancelled it immediately. I never agreed to pay a monthly fee and used my cash app card for the small fee the first time. They have charged me and have been successful with $225 worth of charges after canceling with them. I had to block them from charging my cash app because after they were successful in getting money they would try again a few days later. After blocking their card from my cash app they made a new card that wasn't blocked and was able to get more money out of me. I took screenshots of how many times they have tried to get money after being blocked as well and also to show how many times and frequently they try to get money. This is the biggest scam and gets people with their .95 cent one time charge cancel anytime lies to get your card information and see how much money they can scam out of a person. I want my money back that this fraudulent company stole from me and my family!!!!!
