I visited body central to verify that my insurance would work at their location. The attendant assured me that my session would be covered by my insurance, after providing her with my insurance card. I had my first session, and evaluation, and before I could have another session, received a bill for $141 stating that my insurance paid $0 (my portion was supposed to be ~$15). I called body central and they apologized, and said that they would get to the bottom of it. Weeks went by, and after numerous calls, the issue was still not resolved. I called my insurance, and they told me that body central gave me wrong information, and that my insurance did not cover the visit. After numerous calls to body central over the course of months, each time I was promised a call back by someone telling me they would resolve the issue for me. One of the staffers I spoke to specifically told me that I could ignore the bill, and that it was a mistake that I was still receiving a bill, caused by the fact that they had recently changed their outsourced billing company. Months later, and over 15 calls to body central, I continue to receive a bill for $141. After my evaluation appointment, I was unable to do any follow up sessions because they weren’t covered. So this session I am being billed $141 for was totally useless. Body centrals billing department is outsourced and they are totally clueless. The staffers you talk to in the office also seem powerless to do anything. There seems to be a void of actual leadership, corroborated by the numerous other folks on here who have had similar issues and their “F” rating. Please take ownership of your mistake and stop billing me for this useless session.
