I moved to Oklahoma from CA on August 9th 2024. I entered into a lease on that date. On Sept 6th I received a 5 day notice. On Sept 11 morning the 5th day I went into the office to make a payment but was 5$ short in one account and she told me I could not make a partial payment or use 2 accounts to pay in full. I was supposed to get until the end of the 5th day to pay but she did not even give me until the beginning of the 5th business day to pay. I managed to come up with 1245 dollars in 14 days to pay and she would not give me a chance to do so. They rented to me knowing I had no job when I moved in and that I would do my best to make rent on time. No where does it state on my lease that i can not make partial payments. The manager held my mail hostage until I gave her 50$ to make copies of my keys which I had lost the 2nd day I was there. She was rude the day I met her and she should be removed as manager because nobody should have to deal with a spiteful person.

This company has refused to fix my air conditioner in an apartment I’ve never been late paying rent on. Now that it’s broken the manager will not pay the emergency maintenance tech to drive back out to my apartment and give me a portable unit to get through the night. My maintenance orders have been closed out every time I’ve mentioned the air conditioner not functioning properly. They have unfairly charged me a $50 fee to haul away a mattress instead of allowing me to place it by the dumpster like everyone else does.

Upon moving out of my apartment in Febuary 2024 the are trying to charge me $500 after paying $850 to move in. They are stating it’s from the carpets when my carpets were in no way shape to pull up and replace as they stated. Did they need to be professionally cleaned? Yes they did but no completely replaced. They are very sketchy and are trying to charge for things beyond my control. I have uploaded our messages but it would not allow me to upload the videos that I have of before I moved in and after as well.

On July 5th I received an email stating my bank return my rent payment for $815.00. I paid my rent on 6/30/2023 at 10:16 am. I contacted Bank of America and I was told The Boardwalk Apartments never attempted to take the funds out of my account. Lillie Garcia that's in the office asked for me to contact BOA which I did she spoke with the rep from BOA. I was asked to provide my bank statements which I did. My bank statements show there was money in my account to cover my rent. Lillie Garcia and the 3rd party company Appfolio is refusing to call my bank. I had BOA on the line in the presents of L Garcia. I am being forced to pay $115.00 when I am not at fault for my rent being late. I have lived here 48 months I have never experienced anything of this until L Garcia was hired as the new apartment manager. On 7/5/23 I tried to pay the rent w/ Lillie Garcia told me not to wait until she hears from corporate office. The next day I have a 5 day notice on my door Lillie never contacted me. I asked for the number to the owner of the apartments Garcia gave me the number to TransWest Properties 520-544-400 Tori Kettleman I have left VM'S she refuses to return my calls. I have contacted Bank Of America everyday since 7/5/23 and no one from Boardwalk Apts, Appfolio or TransWest Properties has contacted them to verify their error. Bank of America said they never returned any payment if they did they would see it on their end. Lillie Garcia does not know what she is doing. I was present when she called her supervisor about the 3rd party Appfolio her manager asked her why she didn't submit a ticket with Appfolio Lillie Garcia said she didn't know how and to be walked through the process. Ms. Garcia should have filed that ticket W/Appfolio immediately on 7/5/23 she did not do anything but lie to me. I will upload the receipt from boardwalk and my bank statement to prove I had money in my account. There is not resolution I'm forced to pay $115.00 late fee for their error

Our old apartment Willow Creek Apartments sent us to collections in 2 days after sending us our “move out payment” of which was about $650 which was complete bull, they overcharged us on everything and then the TransUnion took the money from my ladies bank account without any authorization or anything. We never got a receipt for it or anything.

I moved into quail lakes apartments on July 1st,2022 when I got to the apartment an started moving stuff in by the time I noticed the ac was working the office was closed from july 2nd to the 5th of July I called the emergency maintenance line not once but twice it got up to 90 degrees in an he said there isn't anything else I can do until the office opens back up on the 5th which mind you it was only the 2nd so it got even hotter in the apartment over the next few days almost on the verge of passing out so my mom goes out an buys me a window ac unit to provide some sort of relief so when the office opens back up she ends up send 4 different men over here an do an say the same thing I asked the office person to provide a credit for the window ac unit being purchased by my mom they say no credit of any sort will be given. The ac still doesn't work till the is day I submit a work order they do an say the same thing over and over. I was told this apartment was ready an it has so much wrong with it. The ac and the dryer duct are both safety hazards. This apartment looks like it's about to cave in..
