Not sure how this company rates an A+ with the BBB. We paid $750 for a 5 year contract. The first year or so things went smoothly then the issues began. On three different occasions appointments were made at least 1 to 2 months in advance. As usual with most service oriented companies there is a window of arrival time theirs is 3 or 4 hours. Each of these three occasions I had to be rescheduled, once was even a complete no-show with no contact saying they were not going to make it. There was another time we were out of town by chance so my brother-in-law volunteered to fill in for us. After he waited awhile they finally called me, after I specifically gave them instructions to call him, since I would be in a different time zone, to say they weren't going to make the appointment. The next issue was the last time they were here I had a couple components replaced. I was not given an estimate but I knew I was to get discounts for being under contract with them so no worries right? The bill came to $671. The two parts installed could have been purchased for about $20-$25 each just for the parts, no labor. I do understand there has to be a markup for a company to make profit but this was excessive! After deliberations with the owner he refunded me some of the money then I requested to be released from the contract. This is the second part I didn't like. He said they would have to look back and see what services they preformed because some actually cost a lot so he would have to charge me for them, yet I was under contract at the time, so he would not be able to give me a full refund. I didn't expect a full refund but I did expect a prorated refund on the contract. Basically he kept all of the $750 initial contract amount which was only two years of the five in. Anyway, "buyer beware".

PLEASE READ!!! Tuesday 3/28/23 ******************* came to my house to perform the annual maintenance on my AC unit, and sold me on having my AC unit sealed. 4/14/23 ******************************* and ******************************* came to my house to perform the seal. Minutes prior to their visit I was in my bedroom and I have a jewelry box with a chain/cross in it. I also had a heating pad on my dresser, and I decided to roll up the heating pad and place it on top of the chain to conceal it. As the workers finished, I started vacuuming the dry wall dust in the carpet. As I was in my room, I moved the heating pad and noticed my chain was gone. I walked downstairs and confronted both ****** and ******* and they told me they did not take it. They emptied out the pockets of their jeans inside out and it wasnt there, and they told me I could search their vans. I searched their vans, went through their trash etc. In these vans there are 50+ bins, thousands of a/c components, etc. It would be impossible to find it. I know when something is stolen, its gone. They could put it in their shoe, sock, underwear, etc. The thief will empty their pockets and send you on a wild goose chase. I was so upset considering that I saw the chain just hours before and it was something my dad have given me. After they left I called the office and spoke to their GM (********** believe) and asked if any other customers had reported theft from ****** or *******. He mentioned that he had known ******* for 5 years and he has known ****** for 1 year but has known his mom for a while. After this phone call, I called *****'s cell phone. He was upset this had happened to me, and decided to call both ******* and ******. They both denied it to him as well. Everyone mentioned that they hope I find my chain. All I know is that it was there minutes before they got there.I would consider having ***** back in my home to do maintenance, but I wouldnt trust anyone else from Western States Home Services in my home again.
