      I purchased the Levoit Air Cleaner, and while the unit initially performed well, I encountered a recurring issue after about a year of use. The first unit started making a high-pitched noise, which was quite annoying. I contacted customer service, and they were very responsive, quickly sending a replacement unit.However, after using the replacement for about the same amount of time, it developed the same high-pitched noise. I also acquired a second unit shortly after the first replacement, and unfortunately, it too developed the same issue. This noise seems to come from a small fan housed in a silver casing that's part of the air monitoring unit.Although Levoit has a class action lawsuit related to some performance issues, I believe the unit itself functions well in terms of air purification. My main complaint is the persistent noise from the air monitor, which significantly detracts from the overall experience.When I reached out to Levoit about getting a replacement part for the noisy fan, they informed me that they do not sell this part separately. They advised me to contact an appliance repair center. The repair center offered to re-solder a new fan, but they warned that, due to the fine dust the unit pulls in, the fan would likely need replacing again in about a year.While the air purifier itself might operate quietly, this is unfortunately overshadowed by the irritating sound of the air monitor. My experience isn't uniqueI've spoken with four others who have discontinued using their units for the same reason.

Please note that the Limited Warranty period for this air purifier expired on July 29, 2023, and we are unable to provide a replacement or a refund at this time. As mentioned, the unit can be taken to a repair shop at the owner's discretion. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding.

      I purchased a humidifier less than 4 months ago now it stopped misting. The warranty is 2 years.The company support was given video and photos of the unit.       On February 2, 2024 I purchased a Levoit Core 400S air purifier from the Amazon website. The unit is defective and emits a horrific odor, making it unusable. I initially thought the odor might be coming from the filter, so I purchased a replacement. This did not help. I reached out to Levoit (as directed from my purchase invoice) via telephone and received a message asking for a detailed email. I submitted that on April 18th 2024. I received an automated email with a ticket ID of ****** saying I would hear from someone in the next couple of days. I did not receive communication. I submitted a follow-up email restating the problem, and to this day have not heard from Levoit. After doing some research I have found that there have been multiple complaints online surrounding the same problem I am having, with customers not receiving any satisfaction. At this point in time I would like to return this unit for a replacement or a refund. It is completely unusable.

      2 year warranty is not being honored because I bought it on **** even though I have successfully registered a product for 2 year warranty like it stated on the item when I bought it. They said they could not verify it was bought new and it was purchased on ****. However, I have provided them with **** receipt where it clearly stated that it was a new item (see receipt attached). They are just trying not to cover their warranty.

      There is a common defect of Levoit's air purifiers, that they won't turn on after 2-3 years of use. My Levoit air purifier broke down completely after 3.5 years of light use (not used daily). I encountered the same issue that this reddit post has described: ************************************************************************************************* Simply search for keyword "Levoit air purifier won't turn on" on ****** and you will see a lot of these complaints. I reached out to Levoit already but they won't do anything about this as they claim it's outside of 2 year warranty.

We warranty our products for free for 2 years, and stand by the quality and performance of our units. Although this air purifier is outside limited warranty period, we offered a $197.09 refund via store credit for the full order amount. The store credit is a courtesy act of goodwill. It was accepted by you on 3/12/2024 and then issued by our team on 3/13/2024.

      I have purchased two products from this brand, one at Target and one through Amazon. Both products of the same model have proven to be faulty and have issues and ultimately dont work leaving all of the vacuumed dirt dumping back on my floors. I do not want a replacement. I have asked their accounting department to issue a refund check to me for both purchases. I have provided receipts for both outlining my costs. Levoit agreed to send a refund check to my address. When I followed up with the second receipt from Target, I was asked to cut electrical cords for them to send a replacement? I want the company to stop playing games and making absurd requests and issue me back my money in excess of or near $400 relative to my receipts. I said I would not give the company negative reviews, but since they are now going back and forth with me over this and asking me to do strange things, I dont have time for this. If the company confirms they are issuing a check and it has been mailed to me, I will remove this complaint. I hope for a swift resolution in the form of a refund. Please advise. Thank you

      I have been trying to get a defective Levoit humidifier I bought in August 2023 from Best Buy replaced since January 12, ****. Levoit offers a 2 year warranty. Their customer service phone number does not work and their customer service takes 3 days to respond IF at all, basically nonexistent. I finally got them to send me a replacement after a month of back and forth which easily couldve been resolved over the phone. The replacement I received last weekend is physically BROKEN!!! I dont understand why they would send me a broken replacement!! I reached out again to the company on February 11 and have not gotten a response yet. Its been over a month Ive been trying to replace this defective humidifier and their customer service is incompetent. At this point I just want a quality humidifier like I paid for or a refund. It shouldnt take over a month for customer service to resolve a warranty issue this is ridiculous.

      I purchased a 1.5 warm, cool mist, ultrasonic humidifier from ********** based on the fact that the LEVOIT company offered a one year warranty with a bonus two year warranty. I am right at the one year warranty. Tried to contact company via ph - They are not taking phone calls when you call their number, *********** states they are not taking phone calls that you have to send an email to ******************************** I have sent several emails with only one response - that somebody will get back with me in 2 to 3 days nobody ever replies to the emails or trys to call me. Called ********** where I purchased it from. They said its my problem I have to take it up with the levoit co. ******* Levoit is not honoring the warranty I signed up for. Thats a breach of contract. Its a bait and switch you cant advertise that youre offering warranties and then when somebody tries to call you because they have a defective part on your item you refuse to take calls andrefuse to respond to emails , thats fraud. I want a replacement or my money back

      I purchased two Levoit Core 300 due to their claim TRUE HEPA. My whole reason to buy air purifiers for my house is my asthma and COPD, trying to keep the air as clean as possible. I had a few brands picked out that all were TRUE HEPA but went with Levoit for cost.I started purchasing filters that were labeled TRUE HEPA (and some labeled H13 TRUE HEPA) from Levoit (for those I have no record, something happened to my account on their website). Then switched to buying my TRUE HEPA filters from Levoit off Amazon. I noticed the last filters I purchased did not way TRUE HEPA anywhere like the others did.I have since heard that they were found to be fraudulent claims by Levoit. I don't care what their reasoning is, I want a full refund for the machine and filters that were sold to me under false labeling so I can go out and purchase TRUE HEPA machines for my house.

      Thank you for your inquiry. We stand by the quality and efficacy of our filters. The Core 300 filters were tested as manufactured to meet HEPA standard, IEST RP CC001.6 Class H, tested per IEST RP CC007.3. Levoit is making changes to some of its advertising, which it does in the ordinary course of business from time to time. I do not have any further information regarding these changes at the moment.

      I need your testing data for your claim on H13 **** and TRUE ****.   IF they were valid H13 **** and TRUE **** why would any company remove that extremely important statement from the product.  Makes no sense, without the **** assurance your product is nothing more than a fan with a filter.  My guess is that you could not keep your CADR rate with a true **** or H13 ****.   How is it legal to sell me products stating TRUE **** and H13 TRUE ****?  Again, why voluntarily remove those qualification from your product??
      I guess I will leave it up to the *** State ***************************** to look into the legality of what you are doing to consumers.

We can share that the Levoit filters were tested as manufactured by a third party to meet HEPA standard, IEST RP CC001.6 Class H, tested per IEST RP CC007.3. I do not have any further information on the testing at this time.

      IF as you say your filters met all standards why did you remove all mention of HEPA from your products.  I give up, you are just a disgusting company and I am slowly replacing Levoit units with more reputable brands.  I feel you are crooks and despicable.

      Current customer service issue No. ******. I have an air purifier. PUR131 is the model. It no longer works. All of a sudden it just died. Judging from the multiple complaints throughout the internet, what has happened to mine has happened to many others. Just like the others, customer service was completely unhelpful and tried to chalk it up to an expired warranty and that they cant do anything. Just sweep it under the rug and not stand by their product.But because this seems to be a more than common problem, so common that they probably should have recalled it, I think it is more than reasonable to replace this faulty unit with a comparable model free of charge. When I sent a video of the issue, they diagnosed it as unable to fix and that I can get it fixed myself. This seems pretty ridiculous seeing that they clearly know this is a problem.
