I have attached my 4-30-2022 demand letter to this complaint served on Junior's Westside Auto Sales who have made no attempts whatsoever in making anything right with a truck I purchased on February 24, 2022 which turned out to be broken and inwhich I still cannot drive. This is a clear cut lemon law matter and any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated as the *** can not do much more and I am still in the process of locating an attorney to handle this if the BBB can not. Westside Auto Sales told me to go through my warranty but the repair shop advised the engine block was epoxied from a crack and it would cost about $14,000 which the warranty doesn't cover since the truck was sold to me broken. I am asking for my money back or all repairs and replacements paid for by Westside Auto Sales and not to be done through their private mechanic across the street at ******************************************************* - a separate repair shop owned by Westside Auto Sales. The business displays and says they are BBB accredited but I have found they are not and are falsely displaying this. Thank you. Regards,*************************** **************

TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE THE ***** WAS IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION WHEN PURCHASED. I AM NOT AWARE OF ANY ISSUES WITH THE ***** BEFORE THE ***** THE VEHICLE WAS SOLD AS IS AS STATED IN THE DOCUMENTS SIGNED BY YOU. THE *** HAS NOW HAS COPIES OF ALL DOCUMENTATION SIGNED AT THE **** OF SALE AND HAS RELAYED TO ME THAT THERE IS NO ISSUE ON MY PART. YOU SIGNED A CONTRACT CANCELLATION AGREEMENT AT THE **** OF SALE AS WELL AS A BUYER'S GUIDE AND AN "AS IS" AGREEMENT FOR WHICH ALL WERE LEGAL AND BINDING. I HAVE NO FIRSTHAND KNOWLEDGE OF THIS VEHICLE. I CAN ONLY GO OFF OF THE ***** TRAIL AND DOCUMENTAION AS REFERENCE AS WELL AS MY CONVERSATION WITH THE OFFICIALS I SPOKEN WITH. ****** IS DECEASED AND THE PREVIOUS SALESMAN IS NO LONGER EMPLOYED BY JUNIORS WESTSIDE AUTO SALES. AS FAR AS I CAN TELL, THIS BUSINESS IS STILL ACCREDITED WITH BBB AND THEREFORE NOT FALSELY ADVERTISING. I AM APOLOGETIC FOR THE SITUATION. FROM WHAT I CAN SEE, THE VEHICLE WAS IN NO WAY MISREPRESENTED AT THE **** OF ***** THANK YOU, REGARDS, *********************** **************

I have spoken to ***** about this matter and have informed her that I too am a widow as four months ago. She knows that I am struggling as well and am in no situation to be of help.I advised her of the shop that we use for our transmission work.I am very sorry that she is in this situation but I too am having struggles.the truck was sold as is with right to have it inspected before purchase.Warranties were available at the time of purchase and the buyers guide and As-is agreement were signed at the time of purchase. All of our vehicles are pre-owned inspected vehicles that have gone through safety and smog.Things happen with vehicles that are not anticipated at the time of purchase and that is why warranties are available. The one thing that is definite is that at some point a repair will have to happen with any vehicle. We as a business would not knowingly sell a vehicle if there was an issue that we would have to rectify in the future. The repairs would have been made prior to sale. Our reputation is everything in our business.Unfortunately we are both in bad situations and I do apologize for any inconvenience or hardship and am sorry for her loss, as i am dealing with my own.
