I used Alliance Environmental Group from approximately June 16-23 to pull up the damaged flooring and remove/dispose of asbestos. They were contracted **************************** due to a Homeowner's claim we had to file due to water heater leak damage. After removing the flooring, Alliance left my home with a very flimsy sheet of plastic and a bit of tape down on the floors. There were huge gaps and holes which have allowed cockroaches and mice to enter my home. I shared photos of the roaches and rodent feces with them in the affected area they worked on. Their solution was to spend 10 minutes re-taping the plastic, which rodents got through in mere hours. ************** several other contractors have advised they should have put boarding down with the large exposed gaps to prevent any vermin from entering the home. They refused to do so. We now have to go out of pocket $2000 for a rodent and pest exterminator due to Alliance's shoddy work and refusal to put floor boards down while we waiting to have the new flooring put down. We have had our floors open and exposed for nearly 3 weeks now allowing who knows what into our home. Alliance has refused to help. Rodents and roaches are a health hazard and this is unacceptable they did not properly close our floors when leaving the job site. ********** said we should file with *** as this is unacceptable and not normal.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/07/27) */ Alliance was contracted specifically to remove approximately 350 square feet of non-hazardous vinyl flooring that contained asbestos. As unfortunate as the situation is, Alliance is under no obligation contractually or otherwise to install boarding upon job completion. Alliance is not a pest control company, and we were not contracted, nor do we offer finishing work. Placing **** boards would be considered restoration work, which is well outside the scope of what we were contracted to provide. The contract we have with the insurance company clearly states, "Alliance is not responsible for any damages to items during removal (face frames, doors, shelving, etc.), nor is Alliance responsible for any damages once removed". Since the rodent infestation occurred after our project was complete, we cannot be held responsible for any subsequent damage. The Customer's floors were left in a condition that is contractually compliant and reasonably within industry standards Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/07/30) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The work done was completely unsatisfactory leaving my home open to heath hazards and they should be liable for damages I am incurring due to their poor work. Firestorm construction was called out as I needed a new shower pan on an upstairs bathroom. Firestorm stated that there was a lot of damage. They worked with the Alliance Environmental group. If he called them I would not have to do anything, they worked directly with insurance companies and would take car of everything. the restoration company came covered 2 bathrooms top to bottom in plastic. no one could enter. after the plastic was removed I discovered that they had damaged a brand new bathtub. it was less than 7 months old. they offered to have it re-glazed but I want them to put in a new tub. This tub is cast iron and reglazing does not last well. they refused. I sent them an estimate from a Plummer that they requested for replacing the tub, but they refused. this company dropped heavy stuff and damaged a brand new tub and should make it right

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2021/10/19) */ BBB Complaint Case# ************************************ On August 26, 2021 an inspection was made at ************************************ after concerns were brought up in regards to damage of the hall bathroom tub. There were two chips to the edge of the tub and some scratches at the bottom. We found out from the homeowner that the bottom row of tiles had been removed prior to our work to replace the tub and no longer matched the original shower tiles. We spoke to a repair technician specializing in tub repairs and they informed us that the tub could be salvaged and they would be able to patch the chips and réglaze the entire tub. The homeowner has agreed to this solution and we have scheduled the re-glazing of the tub for 9/28/21. In addition, we will also purchase a new/replacement medicine cabinet
