I ordered flower delivery for a friend on 2/3/2022. I paid $81.93. The business committed to delivering my flowers to my friend on 2/7/2022, and then 2/8/2022, and then a refund on 2/9/2022 that I never received. They never delivered my flower order. It was supposed to be delivered 3 times. I asked for a refund, and they started hurling insults at me and refused a full refund. They said I owe them the delivery fee's for the days they did not deliver my flowers. They also tried manipulation/guilt tripping tactics, and were really demeaning and rude in their text conversation (note: I did not instigate, I was very professional and had just plainly asked for a refund). They also lied about reasons they could not complete the delivery. They said they couldn't get in, which the neighborhood is not gated. When I said that, they changed their story and said they don't leave flowers on doorsteps, but on 2/7/2022 when I had inquired about my missing order they sent me a picture of someone else's order that was left on a doorstep, so I don't think that is true either. They also never tried to contact me about the recipient not being available or any missed deliveries, and it was never at any point communicated to me they don't leave orders on doorsteps. Conversely, the conversation we had on 2/7/2022 seemed to heavily imply that they did leave my order on a doorstep, before I communicated that the doorstep in the picture was not my friends doorstep. Even if decided that I should be responsible for "failed" delivery costs($40 according to them), I still have not received the rest of the refund and they have ceased communication with me. Additionally, the claimed delivery was $20 per attempt, and on my online receipt, the Delivery fee was only charged at $15. So they are lying about that in order to extort money from me.
