      I received numerous daily text messages, requesting donations for Democratic campaigns, and each comes from a different number, so I cannot block them. I never signed up for this and do not wish to be harassed in this manner any further. I have replied, stop to each one of these texts, but every day they come from different numbers, which is a form of Harassment.

      06 01 2024 I received a text from MOVEON. at 11:24 am on ********** thru my cell phone. I did NOT sign up nor do I condone political txt claiming DJT broke the law when clearly this company broke the law by either buying ppls cellphone number and bothering them with hateful txt's. I would NEVER sign up nor give out my number for ANY political party to txt or call me.

      While I do not believe about having a old number, I've had this number for over 15years so please be honest next time.

      This organization has constantly spammed me with emails even though I never signed up for that. They spam me almost daily, promoting their political agendas and trying to manipulate the election. They claim to be a non-profit organization for charity and helping good causes but that is all to hide their political campaign agenda. They make money from this and use it for their ***************** party. This should be illegal.

      MoveOn has three entities that work for specific causes:

      Gifts to MoveOn Civic Action, a 501(c)(4) organization, fuel education and advocacy, provide civic engagement tools to the public, and build the movement by encouraging and supporting the development of grassroots leaders.

      Support to MoveOn Political Action, a federal political action committee (PAC), is put to work helping to mobilize the left to elect Democratic candidates across the country who support action on critical progressive issues, and powering direct actions and mass mobilizations for progressive change.

       Support to ********************* works to empower MoveOn members and educate the public on key issues. Its long-term goal is to build a democracy where all people have the chance to thrive, free from systemic racism, misogyny, violence, and oppression.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      1. You do not take responsibility for your actions and spam political emails even though I never subscribed to it.

      2. You keep lying about your political impact because it is clear that every single part of your organization works on behalf of the left.

      3. You do not promise to stop the political emails to me and anyone else who you are emailing even though they did not subscribe.

      Stop responding politically and try responding to my points clearly just like I am doing. Stop the political manipulation agenda, thank you.

      In regards to points 1 and 3:

      All of our email contacts must be opted-in to our system, this can happen when you donate or sign a petition. If you hit "unsubscribe" at the bottom of any email you recived from us, you will be removed from all email communications. I'm happy to do this for you, however I took a look to see how and when you had been been signed up for our emails and do not see your name in our CRM/user system, meaning we would have had no way to contact you or send an email.

      Would you please let me know when you started getting emails from MoveOn, or if your email is under another name? I would like to make sure you are on our do not contact list at your request.

      In response to point 2: On our website, you will see that we've always been transparent that MoveOn believes in an inclusive and progressive future. The candidates and issues MoveOn Political Action backs and takes action on are determined by our members. MoveOn is a large, member-driven organization, and we understand that folks will not agree on every issue or every campaign. But the common ground that truly unites us is that we are working toward an America where everyone can thrive, and that moves us to act to create change, support communities under attack, and elect candidates who represent our values.

      I never signed up for anything from them, so I get bombarded with unsolicited emails. After I unsubscribe from their ****, I then get an email saying I unsubscribed and they changed it to a 3 per week newsletter. I want nothing from them, yet they feel they can just hound people mercilessly. Very unprofessional and very showing of how they feel they should conduct business.

      Getting unsolicited text spam from this "organization", when I have never supplied them my phone number to begin with. I never even heard of these yahoos until I started getting unwanted texts. I don't give a c*** about their political views!

      I tried to get them to cancel my subscription.   I do not do any donations online. On March 15 2023 I made a contribution to Move on for $5  it appeared on my bank statement as $500. Apparently someone moved the decimal point. I have never donated that much for any cause.  I generally give $5 or $10.  In Jan and Aug 2022 I made donations for $5 both times. That shows the history of how I make donations.  I filed a dispute with my bank when I first noticed I the unauthorized charge of $500. However I didn't get a letter on the decision of the dispute regarding the unauthorized charge until April 7th. As a result  of the claim, they froze my debit card and I was issued a new one.  I have contacted MoveOn regarding this issue and have received no resolution on the unauthorized charged that was taken out of my account in the amount of $500.

      July 3, 2022 - first and intended only donation; credit card was charged until I noticed a charge today, February 2, 2023. Either I erroneously did not opt out of recurring contribution or it was a mistake on MoveOns part. Regardless, the donor in good faith should have to confirm with certainty that they want to continuously donate.When I canceled this recurring payment today, I had to move through several screens to ensure I cancelled. I can see how someone would believe they canceled when they did not.The only reason I would donate to a cause would be for the good of humanity, like to try to stop mass shootings or targeting underrepresented populations or to help persons experiencing homelessness. I expected MoveOn to represent the integrity with which I intended to make a one-time donation.

      I have received unwanted, political attack texts from this group and never gave them my number nor permission to text me. Grabbing numbers from wherever they get them from and texting people hate-filled views shows this groups complete lack of ethics.

      I received a text today from "****, a MoveOn volunteer" from ************. I have NEVER signed a petition, given my personal information, or requested texts or communications. I find this practice of sending texts such as the one I received for political purposes unsolicited are problematic at best, and fraudulent at worst.I am requesting that I am FOREVER removed from any communication from MoveOn I am also requesting that I am sent what personal information data they have about me. The ********** Consumer Privacy Act states that I have the right to know what information they have gathered about me, and how they are using it. It also states I have the right to have this information deleted. I am requesting both of those pieces - that you send me information you have gathered about me (that led to this text) and that you immediately delete this data.
