I'm sorry to hear this was your experience. While we work hard to ensure that all of our information is accurate, sometimes addresses are older or incorrectly input in our system by our members. Sometime June of this year my email was Enrolled in Move on's email list asking for donations. I am a registered Republican and have never used MoveOn, ActBlue, or any other Democratic party run donation service, nor have I donated to ANY PAC in my life. When I click the link in the emails they send, it brings me to their website where is says "Welcome Back". The account already includes my email address. I believe they are buying stolen information and registering emails on their platform, thus adding it to mass email and donations lists. This is fraud and spam.Business Response

REMOVEDsent me an email asking for a donation for their billboard campaign. The first email they sent about this, I wrote back to them that I'd need to see photographs of the billboards before I'd decide to donate. They did not send any photographs. But they sent another donation "request" and I clicked the link to see where it took me and it AUTOMATICALLY TOOK $75 DONATION FROM MY ACCOUNT. I called MoveOn on the phone and they promised to refund this donation within 1-2 business days, which is really slow, and I don't know if I believe it.Business Response

I received numerous daily text messages, requesting donations for Democratic campaigns, and each comes from a different number, so I cannot block them. Received texts from REMOVEDwhich is short code message from REMOVEDI'm unclear as to how they got my phone number to send messages but I do not agree with their beliefs or with whom they support politically. I do not consent to my name being used to support any organization, business, corporation, person or entity who actively supports and promotes anyone who shows signs of perversion and inappropriate behaviors and/or speech towards young underage children and minors. I also do not consent to my name being used to support a mentally incompetent presidential candidate who is incapable of filling their duties, making any important and/or legal decisions regarding not only themselves, but the general public and citizens of REMOVEDas well. I am very concerned that this organization is sending these text messages to people who never subscribed to their texts and using said people's names and calling them subscribers which implies that these individuals support what this organization stands for politically.
