    I purchased a new car, my first car purchase, from this dealer on 5/14/23. When looking at the breakdown of costs I noticed a $299 fee for something called code and asked what it was. I was told it was a required security feature that could not be removed, that the car couldn't be sold to me without this. It being my first time purchasing I wasn't aware and took ******************************* for his word. It never sat right with me/made sense and so I recently did digging on this and found that this was not true or legal to do and force. I've also found many other reviews on various platforms from others who suffered the same scam. This is so rude, uncouth, and not legal in the end - completely disregard to do to unsuspecting and trusting customers. I would appreciate the money for this being refunded rather to me or my loan lien holder, whatever would work, but something needs to be done as this is completely not okay.

    If you are looking for ZERO customer service after purchasing a car ********************** is the car dealer for you. On September 1, I purchased a used *********************************** over $39,000 and had it delivered to me on the 3rd. I called the sales person to inform him some of cargo package was missing that they included in their advertisement. The sales person said he got permission to order them and send directly to me. Later that day I called the sales person back to tell him the owners manuals were missing and he said he would check on it by Tuesday, no response.I have chatted three times with their message service on the 9th, 13th and 16th. Sent an e-mail to the sales person on the 18th. Called the sales manager on the 24th explaining the missing items and he said he would take care of it. I asked the sales manager why the paper work says the $299 theft deterrent device code was optional when they told me it was mandatory. The sales manager said they do not sell any used cars without the purchase of the code. I sent the sales manager an e-mail that day to confirm our conversation and sent a copy to the sales person. Now it is October 12, and no response. Does this sound like the customer service you want when purchasing a vehicle?
