    So far the company has been great. I am designing websites. I like the share feature in the web app of Idrive.com directly. You can also use encryption which is safe. The share feature allows to limit who can view your data with a password. The app for apple is great with downloading iPhone vs of Idrive photos. It is a great price for the first year! I am going to be using the feature to send the drive for free to my home. I recently downgraded my upload/download speed to get a more secure upload. Then you just mail it back. I assume there is no contract! So.. Awesome! Thanks!

    I received a renewal notice email. I called to cancel the service and was met with static that made it almost impossible to hear. The representative was helpful and courteous, but in the end could not cancel my account. Now that seems like a reasonable request; however he wanted to know what credit card I used--some years ago--I had no idea. He sent at least three emails to change my password, since I could not remember it, created several years ago, and not used since! Then he wanted to know the last amount on my credit card bill--I don't think I have received it yet. Finally, he turned me over to another agent. After a unacceptable time, and with that static, I hung up. DO NOT USE IDRIVE! You cannot cancel the service! I'm working with the credit card company to accomplish this SIMPLE cancellation request, since idrive will not make that process easy! I wish there were a ZERO star option!

    This company is a scam! Immediately when I went to their site, you were not able to try their service on their site for 7 days free like they stated. False advertising.I put my credit card information in, immediately upon doing so, my card was compromised. I sent emails that I wanted my funds refunded and they indicated in-order to get a refund I had to do the follow:Dear REALTOR ***************************,This message is in reference to ticket number: I Hello,We appreciate you taking the time to post a review of our product.To qualify for the refund of your most recent subscription charge please reply with the following:-- The username for your account (used to log into your newly subscribed IDrive account)- A screenshot of your approved review posted on the review website.Once we verify the information we will submit a refund on your behalf to be returned to the same payment method used to make the purchase.You will receive a second email letting you know the refund has been processed.Warmest Regards,IDrive Support Thanks,Your IDrive Support Team ****************IDrive Support ***************************************************** ******** ********************************************** ********* **********************************************************: **************************************** hope this response has sufficiently answered your questions.     I think Idrive is awesome! They are affordable compared to other companies. $29.99 a month for apple. IDrive only charged me **** for the entire year.

    I am using iDrive e2 service. The site, I am backup to, just failed to connect, as if it disappeared. I tried to get help but it was like talking to a wall. No answer, no nothing after more 12 hours. How can people trust a backup services that unreliable and the support is that irresponsible.

    I was charged for a very expensive business plan that I did not authorize or at least was a mistake as I was using their service for home personal use. There are buttons for plan upgrades and I wonder if somehow this led to the business plan being charged. This seems predatory to me. It was impossible to get hold of anyone for billing support on the phone as after 20 minutes on hold on multiple occasions it would bounce to message saying leave a message and no response to emails. There was no opportunity to cancel or change to the right personal plan online. When I finally got hold of someone by chat they were rude. They did send a cancellation link. I expect a full refund not a prorated refund.

    We appreciate the feedback. The account was upgraded to a 5 TB business plan on Dec 23rd, which can only be done on the customer side. We understand mistakes can happen and would have been happy to refund the full amount and reverted the plan to what it was before the upgrade. We are still happy to refund the upgrade in full and will reach out via email.

    Really shady company. We had a IT guy that set this up and when we changed IT guys I tried to cancel and they made it very difficult, intentionally. It is businesses like this that make people question the credibility of the BBB. These clowns have a bunch of complaints and a one star out of 5 with several reviews, yet, they are A+ rated. How sad is that?

    IDrive has multiple ways to cancel the service not least of which is simply disabling the auto renewal option through the website. Other cancellation options do require verification of ownership of the account as we are a business that protects people and businesses important private data.

    Horrible support. Apps that don't work. Support techs that are so tied to their scripts that they can't/won't hear what you're saying. They're cheap, but even then, they're not worth it.

    This is the worst service. I don't know why it keeps getting recommended. Customer svc was arrogant and unhelpful. You cannot use this with Linux; the scripts look like gibberish. They ARE programming even though the rep claims they are basic and does not help you at all. I deleted my account 2 days after using it. Atrocious!

    Our linux scripts require knowledge of c prompt and some knowledge of code language is helpful but not required.

    My experience ended with me reversing charges on them because they were so awful. I was notified by iDrive that I had gone over my data limit. The notification told me if I deleted files until I was under the limit I would not be charged a fee. I did so very quickly. However, when I looked at my credit card statement I saw that they had billed me over $100 for the excess three days BEFORE they sent the notification that I was over. So, their email lied. I wrote to complain and they offered to reduce the fee by 20%. I said no, I wanted a full refund because they hadn't told me I was over the limit. They offered 40%, again I said no. They offered 80% and I was done. I do not want to haggle over a fee that should never have been charged in the first place.
