    Solution: Refund to the original method of payment. Golden Goose Solution: The business wants to provide store credit or exchange only. My recent shopping experience has left me feeling deceived and disappointed with Golden Goose and their inconsistent return policies, online and in-store. During my first visit to their store on 7/15/2023, I made a purchase of Women's Superstar Shoes (Price: $651.53). There is no clear signage, nor a formal register area clearly displaying the store's return policy. Furthermore, this policy was never verbally communicated to me at any point during my visit, but especially during the checkout process. While I was provided a receipt with the policy printed at the bottom, this was never shown to me prior to being promptly placed into a branded receipt envelope along with my new shoes. I did not touch this bag again, except when I returned to the store on 7/26/2023 to return the item. It was at this time that the associates informed me (verbally) of this policy, and showed me where this was printed on the receipt.Upon further investigation, I remembered that their online return policy explicitly allows for full returns to be processed at any of your stores within the US. Given that there are no discernible differences between an online and in-store purchase, it is perplexing as to why one purchase is handled differently from another. This lack of consistency has led me to question the ethical principles outlined in their company's Code of Ethics. As a customer, I sincerely hope for a resolution that upholds the principles of transparency and integrity upheld by this business. Transparent and fair business practices are crucial for maintaining a positive reputation and building trust among customers - This discrepancy in return policies is misleading and a violation of trust with your establishment. As a result, I do feel scammed and that my money was stolen - I want to immediately return these new, untouched shoes.
