      SCV Floorsmith installed our floors in September 2021. Their company was more than a nightmare to work with. Their contractors never showed up when scheduled and would constantly show up at our house at unscheduled times. During floor installation our TV was hit and cracked. Consequently, we reached out to the company owner in which we were accused of lying about the *** After further discussion we were offered a $500 compensation for the damage done by his crew. When services were completed we paid our entire bill to SCV Floorsmith on September 21,2021, which included the $500 compensation.However, within weeks of installation our floor dividers lifted off. The company came out and fixed this issue at no charge but the dividers popped off days later. Unfortunately, around September of 2022, I began to realize our floor was bubbling up. I called SCV Floorsmith and attempted to schedule someone to come out to look at the floors but they made scheduling impossible. At this time I stopped contacting them altogether and decided I would rather just live with the damaged flooring over dealing with this business furthermore. On November 19, 2022 I posted a Yelp review regarding the issues that occurred while working with this business. Within minutes of posting this review, the owner of the Business reached out to me via email claiming I owed him $500 for the broken TV compensation or else he would put a lien out on my property. I did not respond to this email. He then reached out to me via text threatening me once more to pay the" $500 TV Discount" or else the lien would be filed. I simply responded saying, "It wasn't a discount. It was compensation for breaking my property". He then responded threatening me once again with the lien. Four minutes later he texted me offering me money "out of his pocket" to compensate me for being so upset. I never responded. Two hours later he threatened me once more saying the lien will be getting dropped off the next day. It never did.

      I used this company to install my floor when I had a flood in my house. The company would arrive at my house at random times without notifying me and become angry when I was not home. As they were installing my floor they broke my tv and then argued with me about it. They refused to take responsibility when clearly the tv was shattered from a tool or piece of flooring. The company eventually finished the floor leaving various pieces not affixed to the ground. Now, less than a year later the floor is starting to lift up. We called the company and they said they would send someone out to look at it. Multiple days later, without any notice, we received a call saying someone was on their way. No prior communication or planning. This time did not work with us and the business again became angry. They did not schedule another time and the problem has not been resolved.

      We were told the flooring installers would arrive on Monday Dec 13 to start demolition and install floor. It would take 3 days. Monday, I had to follow up and Nick told me they would be there between 9-11. After 12 I was told they were behind on another job and would not come until Wednesday. Jose shows up and complains about the amount of time it would take to get the floor up. They slid my commercial stove and refrigerator across the floor. They pushed the stove by the handles and did not make sure it was leave when they put it back. They also pushed the stove by the knobs-and scratched my door handle. They pushed the refrigerator back by the front door and left their hand print. I have cleaned glue off my cabinet doors, door handles and stove. They have no clue how to install flooring. They argued with us when we told them not to use one slat of flooring where they did. They ran out of flooring 4 days into the job. It is now Tuesday of the following week and we are still waiting for the flooring to arrive and be installed. In the meantime, they have left their materials and equipment in my garage. My garage smells like orange and affects my allergies. The office blames their installers and the installers blame the office. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever worked with. They really should comp the job.
