      This is a formal complaint against Easy Pay Duvera located in *********. This company has repeatedly violated my consumer rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act as well as the Fair Credit Billing Act and has caused me much unnecessary financial AND mental distress. For starters, they're reporting an erroneous & unverifiable account on my credit report and not to mention an account in which I've asked for proof of claim and in which they have not been able to provide, per the ************ Despite my efforts to resolve this unfortunate nightmare for several months now, Easy Pay Duvera has completely ignored my communications and legal submissions to remove this inaccurate information from my credit report. I am well aware of several other complaints filed against this company for their illegal and unethical business practices. Yet, somehow, this company is still in business.

      I was told that I would pay zero interest free the first 6 months. I was not explained that I would be charged $188% interest if I did not pay within a 6 months every time that I paid has been going towards interest I've made three payments of $70.36 and I made one payment of $140 and the bill was $760 and now the bill is $705.

      We had gone through EasyPay finance and borrowed $1900 in February of 2021. Our payments are biweekly. We make $145.82 payments. Upon inspecting the ****, we are being charged ******% interest rate. To date we have paid $2479.79, with another $1068 left to pay. There is no way to come out from under the outrageous interest they are charging.

      I took a loan from EasyPay finance (big mistake these guys are crooks) and I made the payoff amount and during the time it took THEM to process the payment, interest accrued. I went in to check (I had a feeling about these people) and sure enough they say I owe another $8. I know it's not much, but when does it end.

       they need not to charge so much in insterest due to to my health prolbems and covid 19 and right now i am not working yet because of health problems i almost died and almost became homeless they will cut the payment but after instrest charge they will have ripped off mere than the charge they are really not helpping me at all . this is a rip off .

       I need help i am not working at the moment and the payments that i have made went out the window because off the insterte  rate  and i am getting ripped off i  would like to get help i need it then i will be paying more than what i paied to get car fixed  and that is wrong i was not told that the instrate would be so high and all the payments i have made would go into the trash and not show up on balance what help is that .

      I went to big o tires to get my tires fixed and did not have enough money to pay for it directly so big o promised financing options with 0% interest. When I looked at the **** a couple months later because the **** was not paid, I came to find out they were charging me 98% interest.

      EASYPAY/DVRA10048**(transunion) -They are reporting inaccurate information on my consumer credit report. I already sent Investigation to all bureaus. 03-31-21- I sent them a letter regarding the account that was reported on my report and advised any documentation that can verify that the information was accurate.04-16-21-I havent receive any response nor documentation so I sent letter to collection company and credit bureaus requesting a second debt validation. 05-21-21- On this date still did not receive any response so Its clear that they cant properly validate the debt they claim I owe. I sent them they need to remove the inaccurate information on my account or I will seek legal options with my attorney and ask help for cfpb and bbb.

      I was told I could get a 90 day same as cash price to pay off an installment loan. It was offered through Midas for work I had done on my car. I made an extra payment after my biweekly minimums and the payment was denied. So because of this they cancelled our agreed upon contract and resumed charging me 158% interest rate. I keep trying to pay the loan off and make extra payments but they wait 3 days to process payments. Within those three days they charge me astronomical fees. I want to stick to the contract they instead want to charge me double what I used at Midas to get work done on my vehicle.

      I used Easy Pay finance to buy a dog in March 2019. The amount financed was $1300. I set up a bi weekly auto pay with the pet shop through Easy Pay on top of putting down $400 on day of purchase. Approximately one month later I was getting notifications that I was past due. I immediately took care of the situation with Easy Pay and they changed the bi weekly payment to $50 every other week. Since that issue, which was not on my end, the payment has been coming out every other week. It still shows I have a $30 late payment on a regular basis and I have given Easy Pay over $3,000 in payments for a dog that was priced at $1,300 initially. My account still shows I owe $1,295 dollars. With that amount and the interest I will end up paying them well over $4,000 for a pet. I believe this contract should be considered paid in full. The initial mix up with the auto pay was not of my doing and since they have collected an unreal amount of money in interest.

      My main issue all along has been it was no fault of mine that the automatic payments stopped coming out. When I financed the pet I put money down and advised I wanted to the remainder to be withdrawn biweekly from my bank account. I did not make a change with my bank information and two payments came out after purchase. I was unaware there was an issue until I happened to open a letter from Easy Pay that I advised I was behind on payments. I contacted the company and explained I was under the impression the payments were being taken from the account every other Friday and the payments were current. Which is the purpose behind automatic payments. I was advised at the time the situation with the withdrawals was taken care of. They did not advise me at the time it would void the $1300 same as cash finance option and force me to pay an astronomical amount of money for a dog. If they advised me of that at the time I would have continued to be in contact with the company until it was straightened out.

       

      I understand what the contract says. My issue is there was no change to the bank information. Two payments were withdrawn after purchase. Then a letter comes months later saying payments are behind. These contracts are completed on a tablet by the place of business. I am obviously not asking for a refund of money. I just believe this contract has been paid twice over because of a mistake on the business owner and Easy Pay. In my opinion this contract should be completed.

      I received a loan with easy pay, and not until after all was said and done did I realize for a loan through Midas **** being 608$ it was going to be $1300+ to pay the loan back, so over 700$ gor a loan of 608 unless Paid off within 90day + a 40$ fee, well that said 2 51$ payment s came out of account fine, then I borrowed the 494$ remaining amount from my son and later that day checked online realized the payment was 494$ x2 plus additional 51$ and said I still owed *****, I immediately call and was 79 in line for on hold mom in icu when they returned call I missed call back to be 134 in line and they closed I never spoke to anyone this am they called I returned call and waiting til 36 in line spoke with someone for them yo say I had charges for non payment fees of 139$ I am on quarantine from work because of visiting my mom with covid in icu my son receives ssi and its a struggle in every way to try to stay above water, they would not take any of these bogus charges off + intere
