1/31 paid for a heated jacket made by Gerbing. Jacket is defective, and has hot spots around the collar and back. The jacket actually burned my neck. (see photo). Also felt a little snug on me. Made arrangements to return the product. Merchant agreed and sent me an "RMA #******" and it arrived back to them on 2/18 in brand new condition per the return policy. There was one tag in the box, and it was returned with the jacket. Merchant sent me an email stating they would not refund me due to missing tags. I don't believe there were any missing tags, and even so it is not stated in their return policy. Seeking a refund.Business Response

Placed order 8/7/24. Emailed customer service 11/1/24 about whereabouts of my order and received no response. Emailed again 1/27 and customer service was extremely rude and told me I waited too long so at this point im on my own.Business Response

This order for ***** OEM parts was placed on August 4th, 2024, shipped on August 7th. According to **** the package was delivered. ****** from *********, WI contacted us on January 28th, 2025, 5 months after, claiming he did not receive the order (actually his email was to ask if "he is ever going to get his parts"), and we are not really sure what expects us to do at this point. There is no way we can even follow up with **** on such an old shipment. If you receive a tracking number from us, and you do not receive the package, you need to contact us within a reasonable amount of time (1-2 weeks at most), so we can resolve any issue. After 5 months, we have no way to follow up or resolve any shipment issue. You can't expect to be able to randomly contact us 5 months after we sent your shipment (and of course provided the tracking number the day it was shipped) and claim you did not receive it, when we can't even track the shipment any longer on ****'s website.Initial Complaint

Placed an order for dirtbike parts for our sons dirtbike from this website adeptpowersports. Their parts finder and and website seemed comparable to other websites Id used to purchased parts. I also had seen that they bought out 2wheel parts. So I placed my order which included free shipping for two parts on a little kid ktm electric dirtbike I was then sent an email stating that the items were over 48 or over 40lbs and needed to pay them oversized shipping. This was never disclosed in any of the website or information contained in my prefer confirmation and receipt. I already own the bike and I measured the parts and they are less than half the dimensions they were stating was the reason I needed to pay more. I sent a email to their customer service email explaining this and I was meat with unreasonable responses attacking me stating I just seem to be causing a problem. I explained I wasnt trying to cause any problems just that I wanted their company to uphold what I was sent in my order confirmation. I am happy to provide anybody copy of the order and emails from them. Because it took them a day to send me any information after my order confirmation I already went about modifying the stock parts since I had the order confirmation in my email.Business Response

This person is clearly a disturbed and delusional individual. We decided not to accept this person's order, and this person was never charged for anything. Advice to BBB - you need to stop enabling insane people - these people need professional help, and by BBB making these types of people think that the BBB will force us to sell something to anyone at some price they decide is fair, is simply enabling insanity. These people only exist because no one shames them and instead enables their delusions.

Ordered a part that was available on their website that I needed before holiday weekend reason I ordered through them. They said 2-3 day shipping. We are on day 4 and still hasnt left their warehouse. I emailed them and here is their response. We are rejecting the customer's "rejection". Let's repeat once again. Availability was shown on our website BEFORE the customer placed the order, plainly in plain English, without any small print. The order shipped in the originally stated time and was delivered to the customer in a reasonable timeframe.
There is nothing that is an issue here. The customer is upset we didn't ship his order earlier? Well that wasn't offered when he made the purchase, so not sure why we are being asked to provide some service we never offered and customer never paid for.
Close this complaint. It's a complete waste of time and we can't keep repeating the same thing over and over. We will not be responding further to this.

Company called me an idiot and multiple threats because I wanted to cancel an order that wasnt shipping out in promised time. Company stated: you could have had the part faster from us nan anywhere, but now you won't - just because you decided to be an idiot. Trustpilot? "You cancelled an order I told you not to if you were going to charge me 20% and then harassed me and blocked me. Extremely illegal. Talk all you want but 20% of a bigger order can add up. You claim to be so smart but youre basing a $20 restocking fee around my single order. I am sure you have nit picked thousands from people because all you are is a drop shipping company, and a slow one at that. Ordered a part and was notified it was on back order. Bought part from partzilla as it showed in stock and attempted to cancel the adept powersports order. Received this email from customer service denying my cancellation because it was already off back order. I responded that I had already ordered elsewhere and I would like to cancel because the partzilla order is already in transit to my house. If adeptpowersports shipped the item, I would just be returning it and I wanted to save everyone the hassle. I ordered a a windsheild from them anmd they sent the wrong one. I sent *** of the order details with this complaint. so in order to send it back to I had to request from them to return the item. which they apporved. I attached the *** of that as well. So I return the item to them which cost me ***** to send the item back to them. I have NEVER got my money back from them. They wont even respond to phone calls, which I have left messages. I have also sent emails and nothing all all has been done to resove this. As you can see in the emails we have lost the $195.95 we spent on the windsheild and we lost the $***** it cost to ship back the wrong windsheild they sent us. We are at a loss of $251.95 all together and still no windsheild. This is very upsetting. Please help us resolve this with them because i have tried and tried and they have done nothing. Please call your credit card if you are not able to find your credit and ask them if they can confirm it for you. And if in fact for some odd reason they do not see a credit, you are welcome to dispute the original charge with them while you are on the phone with them. We will provide proof of refund via the dispute process. However you can save everyone a lot of time by simply looking at your statement for May * the refund was done and you have it.

We do not have any recent orders with this email address or name and no order number is provided for us to look it up if it's under some other name or email address.
We do not sell "defective" parts, we sell brand new parts and if a part is ever "defective" from the manufacturer, we will gladly replace it within 30 days of receipt as long as it's in new unused condition with original packaging.
This is probably another scam artist from a competitor's business or something trying to smear ** with some more lies. No amount of these fake reviews from children is going to stop the thousands of happy customers who order from us.

Adept failed to deliver product so i cancelled the order and deserve a full refund. They want to charge 20% restocking fee. Looking at other *** customer reviews this seems to be their business model of not delivering items and charging restocking fees. This company seems to be a scam company. The email response is harsh. You accept our policies when you place the order. We sent the order to the address provided by the customer and it was returned as incorrect address.
