Defective product. My only means of transportation is now out of commission. Was told a replacement would be sent immediately and was given a return label for the defective lights. **************** is refusing to honor that and isn't going to send the new set out till 2-3 business days after the old ones are received. Still waiting and only vehicle to work is down.. I know $200.00 dollars doesn't seem like much, but to a single income family living paycheck to paycheck it's everything.Business response

I ordered a pair of headlights from this merchant on February 1st 2023. The headlights came very well shipped, however upon installation and using them for approximately a week, there was a haze that developed in the lower 1/4 of the driver's side headlight. I removed the headlight and found a small crack next to one of the lugs on the back. After trying to super glue the crack, the haze did not go away. It is not condensation. I reached out to the merchant 3 times. On 2/18/23, 3/1/23, and 3/6/23 without resolution. I believe that this company is selling products in good faith that their quality standards check out, however they have been unresponsive to my requests to remedy the situation. I would like to negotiate a replacement of the defective headlight.Business response

The taillights I purchased one doesn't fit as it should. I contacted 2K Motors through email. ******** answered my email asking for more pictures. I sent pictures from as many angles as I could. I received an email back stating it would be turned over to the technical department. The reply I got was. Our tech let me know that the lights are like that due to a moulding issue. Unfortunately there is no fix for it, but you can request a refund from the vendor if needed. Thank you for your patience! That was their response word for word, copied and pasted from the email. My response was. Why would I ask the vendor for a refund? He didn't make the lights. Do you mean return them? That cost me return shipping and up to a 25% restocking fee. So if I get this correct your email states it's because of an issue you with manufacturing, but your not going to make it right or stand behind your product in any way? I don't want a refund I just want what I paid for. I won't just go away. ****. Also copied and pasted I have not received a reply. Our last communication was April 8th 2022 All I what as I stated in my email is what I paid for.Business response

They know I didn't buy them from them. They are avoiding the issue. I purchased the product from a third party. When I received the product I contacted ** Motor. The United States representative of the lights to ask them if the lights should fit as badly as they do. They told me NO that it was a manufacturing defect. I don't want my money back I want what I paid for. Lights that fit as they should. The third party I bought them from has nothing to do with the manufacturing, and they themselves say it's a manufacturing defect, so why would I contact them? Do you expect them to open every box to try and find some that actually fit like they are supposed to? The light is supposed to follow the body line like the original lights did. As you can see in the picture it sticks out way past. The light on the other side sticks out from the car. If I was told that's just how they are, then that's one thing but to be told they're defective and that's my problem doesn't sit well with me. In April of 2020 K2 Motor sold me a pair of aftermarket headlights that were defective and broke within a week on installation. That was obviously within their warranty period (180 days) so I sent them back and was issued a replacement after waiting about a month. This second pair only lasted me from May when I received them to about mid June, almost exactly one month before they broke once again. I was a bit more frustrated this time since K2 Motor informed me that they would be out of stock for some time, and told me they'd reach out in April of 2021 when they were slated to be in stock. So I drove with burnt out headlights waiting for that update for over 10 months, but it did not come. By that time in April of 2021, Ebay had automatically wiped the messages between K2 Motor and I since they delete any messages any older than 6 months; so as you can imagine, K2 Motor forgot about what they promised since there was no messages to refer to anymore. I decided to mention to them at the end of the 2021 that it's been over 8 months that I had been waiting for my replacement lights, to which they responded that they no longer carry the lights, that I should've mentioned it to them in April of 2021, and that they would not be refunding me. I do not see how this is adequate treatment of their customers, I essentially paid $250 for them to ship me two sets of lights that didn't work and give me false promises and lies. I demand that K2 Motor be held accountable for knowingly shipping customers defective lights by their own acknowledgement by taking the headlights off their stock, and that I be fully refunded for the trouble as well so I can purchase a pair of lights that actually work. I have been driving with one headlight burned out since June of 2020.Business response
