Purchased tickets for Birmingham Baron and I chose wrong date. Have email from this company stating tickets have been returned, but cant find anyone to talk to about refunding my money. Roughly $150.00

      Business response

      07/24/2024

Tickets.com writes in response to the BBB complaint initiated by *********************** (#********). We have investigated this matter and deny any allegation of wrongdoing.  Tickets.com provides primary ticketing services and software for the Birmingham Barons. Based on the information provided in the complaint, Tickets.com was able to determine that the order delivering tickets to the consumer was made by a third-party Optimal Ticketing. Further, the ticketing system does indicate that the tickets were canceled (return by forward), but any refund would have been issued to the consumer from Optimal Ticketing as the order source. Because the tickets were purchased through a third party and not directly from Tickets.com, the consumer should contact the third party Optimal Ticketing regarding the refund.
Due to the foregoing, Tickets.com respectfully requests that the complaint be closed.

I purchased a parking space online 6-23-24 from go tickets in the amount of *****. I needed to park for an hour to drop-off people to attend the ******************************* concert. When I got to the parking garage I realized I did not have a bar code to enter/exit the garage. After being unable to access the garage, I procured parking elsewhere. After I got back to my house, I initiated a chat to determine what happened. I was ultimately told that I needed to download an app to receive a parkiing ticket. This requirement was not known at the time I purchased the ticket. I advided the rep that I do not download apps for a one time use. I also advided them that downloading the app was not made clear as a requirement to receive the ticket. I was tolds that I will not receive a refund.

On June 11, 2024 I used a pre sale link from ************* For Performing Arts to buy ******** Tickets, after waiting in line until my turn I was redirected to Tickets.com for the final purchase but did not realize it until it was too late. Tickets.com is scam company that somehow routes legit purchases to there site, over charges for the tickets and should be shut down as a criminal entity.

Date: 5/31/24 I purchased tickets to a ***************************** concert at the ************************ in **********, **. I was originally in the process of purchasing the tickets with a different vender but they were charging $34 of junk fees on top of the ticket fee which was $66 for Lawn Tickets, bringing the total to $100. I decided to go direct to ****** to see if I could buy tickets at the venue to avoid the junk fees. Eventually I was routed to a different website that I thought was Ameris. The tickets were $98 without any reference to any Junk Fees. So I decided to call it a day and just purchase the tickets. I went through the entire process and saw no mention of any additional Junk Fees unlike the previous website, WHO CLEARLY DISPLAYED THEIR JUNK FEES, so I felt fine purchasing. So I clicked the Purchase button. When I received the tickets 1 second later it said I was charged $147.99!!! I was FURIOUS!!! No where was it clearly shown that I was being charged an additional $50 in JUNK FEES. I called customer service, got a rep from ***** that barely spoke English who in formed me that there are no refunds and that she was the highest person in the escalation department. There was no supervisor and no recourse after I explained to them that I did not see any clear mention of additional JUNK FEES!!! I went back and made a recording of the process of buying tickets through their website on my phone. Thats when I noticed in the extreme tiny fine print that the total charge would be $147.99!!!!

On Thursday 3/21/24 I was attempting to buy Pre-Sale tickets to a ********* Ladies concert at *********** in ********, ** using a presale code provided by the venue in an email. Upon clicking submit for my order I quickly realized that I had been diverted to Tickets.com for the purchase and was not able to exit out of the purchase. I immediately attempted to contact Tickets.com and after much searching I located a phone number but was never able to reach any customer service support live. All I got was an automated system that looped around and around with zero option to speak to anyone about my issue. After additional searching, I did find a customer service email option. I emailed them and never received a response. I sent a second email and still have not gotten any response. I called my credit card company and have disputed the charge as fraud and am awaiting closure on that end. I NEVER intended to purchase those tickets from a reseller and still can't figure out how I was diverted from the venue's site to tickets.com. I immediately realized what had happened and am very disappointed that they don't have any easy way to reach a live customer service representative to handle customer inquiries. The ********************** order number is ******** and the amount they charged my credit card is $320.20

Tickets.com writes in response to the BBB complaint initiated by *************** (#********). We have investigated this matter and deny any allegation of wrongdoing.  We have determined that the consumer incorrectly identified Tickets.com as the vendor for the transaction in question. Tickets.com provides primary ticketing services and software but does not provide ticketing services for The Factory at the District in ************, ******** and did not participate in the pre-sale of tickets to the ********* Ladies concert on March 21, 2024, for the transaction in question. Based on the information provided in the complaint, it is likely the tickets were purchased through a primary or secondary market vendor with a name similar to that of Tickets.com. I purchased Hardy Concert tickets on 4/19/24 for the ************** in **************. I quickly realized this is not a legit site because my money was taken but no tickets were given. When I went to ask about this on a contact us link, it did not work. I also notice when I clicked on view order status, that link did not work. I decided to look up reviews and had several complaints about not receiving products(tickets) and no way to reach them. Clearly, a scam. Would like a refund and for site to be removed off *******

I purchased three tickets to ********* concert in ****** *****. I purchased these tickets through an online entity. The concert was postponed and I would now like a refund. Getting in touch with the company was a nightmare to say the least. I found out they were not affiliated with Ticketmaster but were a separate entity altogether. It is impossible to get in touch with them they keep telling me I need a new password for my email and when I entered the new password that they sent me, they just kept repeating I need a new password. I just want a refund and never do business with them again

The transaction date was 2-19-2024 the transaction number is 61750021.I was trying to buy tickets to see the Liverpool Legends for 3-22-2024 at Orpheum Theater in ******* Kanas around 5:30 am on 2-19-2014 when the website to me to Tickets.com.I put in the quantity of 3 and it showed me a price of $273. I thought this was the total price for all 3 tickets and it asked for my payment information and then a blank screen came up and I closed it and other screen came up showing the tickets had been purchased with no breakdown of charges or nothing for me to review before making the purchase. I immediately tried to go back but would not let **** then called my credit card company and told them I wanted to dispute the charges. Then waited until I thought thier office was open about 9 am and talked to a service rep who said she could not give me a refund but could give me a website where I could try to sell the tickets which I didn't because I knew no one could afford to buy the at that price like myself. I call back a day or two later and talked to a service rep and she said she would have refunded my money if I had not taken possession of the tickets. I told her I did not take possession of the tickets and she could check and see when the website was sent to try and resell them, she put me on hold for 30 minutes and the line went dead. I called right back, and the same lady answered the phone and pretended to be someone else and would not help me at all. I got an email today from my credit card company saying they are going to charge me the $1019.66. I still have not taken possesion of the tickets and will not because this is not right it is more like a scam not showing charges because they know people will not pay them or give them a chance to review before they make a purchase. I cant afford these tickets, something needs to be done about this scamming company.

Bought 2 tickets for comedy event. Price when charged to my cc was more than advertised ($834.31). I called company to dispute price. They refused refund or to adjust price as advertised. Refused me to talk to supervisor to resolve. In the conversation i was feeling like this was not a legitimate business do to the lack of professionalism and poor business practise. I called my cc company with my concern. It was suggested i cancel my card as the company could be fraudulent. I did. The charge was reimbused by my cc company June 10 2023. I then searched for new tickets with a new company and bought 2 new tickets for same event for $508.63 on July 1 2023. With new site Tixmatt vs Ticketsmattrife as previous. Confirmation email received with instructions that ibwould recieve my tickets on or before March 12 2024 for event date occuring March 13 2024. I never recieved the tickets i paid for. I called the number included in my cc statement details. When comparing numbers of the 2 transactions on my vc details i learned that both sites under company Tickets.com. I called company and they refused to send me the tickets i pd for ststing they dont send tickets to people whom have stopped payment on them before even though inpd the $508.63 for the tickets. They refused me to talk to a supervisor ****** the supervisor doesnt take calls. My cc cannot help me with this $508.63 charge because it has been more than 120 days. It is wrong for them to charge my card and not deliver the product. Today I found many bad reviews about tickets.com stating fraudulent business practices. I pd for tickets and i should have recieved them. Many people claim the same problem with this company and ones that did get their tickets, the tickets were refused at the venue as being fake tickets.

Tickets.com writes in response to the BBB complaint initiated by ********************** (#********). We have investigated this matter and deny any allegation of wrongdoing.  We have determined that the consumer likely incorrectly identified Tickets.com as the vendor for the transaction in question as it does not appear from the transaction record provided that Tickets.com provided ticketing services for this particular transaction.
