My current residence, requires that we have rental insurance I have my own insurance they automatically enroll us into this confirmed insurance company that automatically attaches a $24.25 charge to our rentunless we opt out I have provided proof multiple times that I have insurance coverage they keep on sending me emails telling me to add the interested party which I have updated and added the information and sent them proof multiple times and no response and they dont update the information. They dont have a contact number the only number they have rings once and no one answers and no one returns your phone call. Its literally a scam.

On 2/24/2025, I emailed the opt out email for Confirm Insurance with proof of renters insurance. They emailed me back 2/28/2025 stating I needed to list ****** as as interested party. Aviata was already listed as an interested party on 2/24- so I emailed back immediately with proof again and had Lemonade send proof again as well. Now Ive been charged $15 on 3/1/2025 and am seeing another $15 charge coming up for 4/1/2025. I do NOT authorize these charges and do not need a damage waiver. I am carrying exactly what they are asking for in Renters Insurance. I am requesting that there be no further charges for a damage waiver, removal from the program, and a $15 refund for 3/1/2025 AND any future $15 charges that occur. Confirm Insurance has been completely non-responsive since 2/28/2025. Please answer me. I can not afford both a damage waiver and renters insurance.

This company scams people out of their money. When a tenant has their own insurance coverage which also covers landlord property they should not be forced to pay for this "service". If landlords want additional coverage they should pay for it themselves not force a tenant to have to pay for it.

I am the guarantee on our daughters townhouse in *******, the gathering. They recently changed ownership therefore different third parties that they were using changed at the beginning of her lease in August 2024 we submitted liability insurance to the proper third-party December 1, 2024 afternoon ship They were now using confirm insurance as their third-party. I received a notification that I had to resubmit proof of liability insurance or we wouldbe charged in the next billing. This was December 1 within that week I submitted proof of insurance in December 9. They sent me an email confirming receipt and that its satisfied the necessary liability Prior to this we were charged $12.99 on our account and after receiving our proof of insurance, they credited us but not the full amount a $3.35 balance theres no reason for them to charge us anything we have had coverage since August 2024 start of lease And I provided the coverage in the timely manner. I have contacted them several times via email because thats the only means of communication with thiscompany although $3.35 isnt not a lot. I am not paying this based on principal they shouldnt be charging us at all and if they charge everyone same amount theyre making money for nothing.

Being charged $15/mo for insurance when I have renters insurance & have had insurance for over 10+ years that meets all criteria. My apartment got sold & the address of additional party changed. I submitted a request to State Farm to change additional interest address. State Farm did change the address & emailed confirm insurance at the provided email *********************************** that address was changed. Confirm insurance is still rejecting my insurance for the address. State Farm told me address changes wont show up in online documents until policy renews thats why they emailed them. I want the $15/mo I have been forced to pay over past few months refunded & a letter from confirm insurance letting me know I have been opted out & wont be charged. ********** also says they always email additional interests with any policy changes & renewals. They do this for all their customers & only company issues arise with is **************************

My son's rental company requires that we accept an automatic enrollment with Confirm Insurance or provide proof of renter's insurance. Given the fact that Confirm insurance provides zero coverage for personal property, we opted to provide proof of renter's insurance. As informed by the rental agency, we updated the insurance with the required information and submitted proof of coverage via email as Confirm does not respond to emails informing that my son's apartment complex is not listed on the drop-down property list thus preventing submission through the Confirm opt out portal. We have continued to receive charges every month. I would like a refund for the $12 charged for October, November, and December and for Confirm to stop charging for the insurance.

I have been incorrectly charged $15 per month by Confirm Insurance for the past six months. I did not authorize enrollment in their program, nor did I consent to any changes. I opted out of the program because I have had renters insurance since 2022. The issue arose when my apartment complex switched its third-party insurance provider in the middle of my 2024 lease, and the additional interest address changed. I changed the address and I followed the required steps to opt out in June, and I have continued to meet all opt-out requirements since then. However, I did not receive any written or electronic notification of my unauthorized enrollment in June. The property assistant manager also sent multiple copies of the opt-out form, and we contacted Confirm Insurance to address the issue. Despite providing evidence that I meet all necessary criteria, Confirm Insurance has refused to correct the situation. I have also left a voicemail to address this without receiving a return call response. I am requesting the assistance of the Better Business Bureau (BBB) to help resolve this matter by facilitating the following actions: 1. Immediate removal from the program. 2. Full removal of the charges shown in my apartment complex billing portal total $105 in charges from June 24 to December 24, at $15 per month.Thank you for your attention to this issue.

I have been charged the damage waiver(renters insurance) for months no even though I have provided my 3rd party insurance! I have been conversing with Confirm Insurance via email and they acknowledged that they fixed the problem, but once again, I was charged for it! How does thing keep happening?! It seems that this company doesnt even exist or illegal in the fact that there is no way of getting a hold of them via phone and even via email, they may/may not respond! This is not okay and this needs to fixed now! No one should have to be going through this much hassle over renters insurance especially when you have done everything right on your end!

Confirm Insurance was recently contracted by property management for the building in which I live. We were provided instructions on how to upload proof of existing renter's insurance to the Confirm portal in order to opt out of being enrolled in Confirm's policy. I uploaded proof of insurance twice, and both times it was rejected. I was then charged for Confirm's renter's insurance. I reached out to community staff, who directed me to contact Confirm Insurance directly. I emailed Confirm support regarding the charge for November, including PDF copies of renter's insurance through State Farm. Confirm responded stating that I needed to add their company name to my policy, which makes no sense. I continue to demonstrate that I have existing renter's insurance which meets all of the requirements set by management at my community, and Confirm continues to give me the run-around. I want my account credited for the November charge and I want any future charges for Confirm renter's insurance removed from my account. It's clear that this company makes its money by engaging in bad faith practices.

My daughter's apartment building is under new ownership. One of their new requirements is to either accept an automatic enrollment with Confirm Insurance or provide proof of renter's insurance. We opted to provide proof of renter's insurance. We updated the insurance with the appropriate information and followed the instructions provided by the apartment complex. We received an initial charge of $14 in August, which was removed after a complaint was submitted. Since then we have been charged $14 in September, October, and November. My daughter spoke with the apartment property manager and it she received a credit of $11.67 but not the full $42. My daughter's insurance PDF is showing in her Resident Portal and has been since August 6, 2024. I would like a refund for the remaining amount paid.
