      I had just moved here last year so my mail got lost and the *** started garnishing my wages all of a sudden so i looked on the BBB found ideal tax told them my situation and they told me they could get my taxes that I owe under a hardship so they would be forgiven I wouldnt have to pay and my wages would stay being garnished all i needed was ****** retainer i knew i would owe them a little more later common since will I had to borrow the money it took me about 3 weeks to get it from my 401k during that time I had 3 different agents call over and over I told them i had to wait for the money the last agent i spoke with was a supervisor name ******************** told her i didnt want to work with a bunch of different people she told me she would take my case herself and she told me same thing hardship forgiveness so I was at work when they sent me paperwork I told her that she said its ok your just signing that we can talk to *** and get u on a hardship so I signed paperwork and sent my ****** dollars and almost 2 *************** were at may 21 when I receive an email from a different agent name **** now his case ***. needed my paystub so he could start I waited on June 1 I received a call from a lady with an accent to call irs on 3 way so she has permission to talk to them I thought I already signed for that over last two months they hadnt talked irs we called they were trying to set up payment or see if I had to file taxes.from the beginning I told them I needed to file 2023 they said wait .now I have a penalty now 6/20/24 **** calls in order for them to file my taxes and get the hardship they need ****** dollars to start then all together ******* to finish I told them I wanted my money back I have nothing to pay them while waiting on them I lost my job for calling out no gas. court date for eviction on July 23rd Ive never been behind. Now I-need to pay someone else to help with tax I cant afford & if I could they still owe me my money back cause they did nothing.

      I paid an upfront fee of $295.00 to Ideal Tax to handle my end of the year employment taxes. And the i was told by *************************** that i need to pay an additional $3,000 before they can take care of my tax debt matters. So i contacted the Veterans Affairs and was told they would handle my employment taxes for free. So i emailed *************************** and let her know I want to cancel her company's service and requested a full refund of my $295.00 back to my bank account and was given the run around. I was told by the Veterans Affairs to immediately file a claim with the BBB asap to get my funds back. Your urgent response would be greatly appreciated. Thank You for your time and assistance.

      I still have not received any payment/refunds - a tracking number was porvided but they sent to ******** - I live in ********* NY. 

      I provided my correct address and getting a simple tracking number was like pulling teeth and they will not bother to reissue or help with the payment. 

      Aside from refund issues the work was never done, and partial refund was all I could squeeze out of the company.

      I HAVE SENT EMAILS AND HAVE CALLED YOU - BUT THE RESPONSE FROM YOUR **************** IS CHILDISH.... I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET THIS RESOLVED FOR MONTHS....

      This company is definitely a scam!!! If you are trying to work with them. RUN!!!! I was contacted relentlessly in the beginning by ****. He called and left messages daily!! I finally reached out to him and decided to work with them. I am on disability and only making ******* per month. He said because of that he can get me on a discounted rate of $485.93 per month.I sacrificed my groceries and other monthly expenses each month. For just two payments. I have very easy forms to fill out. Yes it was only two months. But there was very little communication. I had to beg for updates. I had to send several emails. Then when they did get back to me they said my account was in review. It was in review for weeks before anyone called me and left a message that they had sent me papers to sign in email. They had supposedly finished. Well surprise surprise!! I never received supposed email. I sent an email to ***** to let her know I did not receive any email from anyone from them with paperwork to sign. She said she would have them resend the paperwork. That was on a Monday. It is Friday and still nothing. I did not know who to turn to. So I text ****. He said he would have management get on this right away. That was actually on Wed. Well it was Friday today and nothing. I sent him another text asking for help on whom I should be talking to since ***** did not respond for an entire week. I figured she jumped ship. Well he did not respond to my text messages. Surprise surprise! I called my bank and blocked them from taking further payments from me. Nothing they can do or say will change my mind. Their communication is horrible!!! If they did get any good reviews they are probably fake. Dont trust them. If you do decide to go with them. Just know you where forewarned! I wasted ****** with them. I have cancer and other major medical issues. Thanks a lot IdealTax! Other reviews waisted way more money than I. I decided to stop while Im ahead. I cant afford to waste money!

      bBuenos das  no  estoy  de acuerdo con  lo que  ustedes  dicen  yo  no  serre  el  caso  yo  les  dije  que  ocupada  mi  dinero  porque  ustedes  no  hicieron nada  solo  hicieron  es  cobrar  mi  dinero  y todava  ustedes  queran  hacerme  los  impuestos de  el  ao  2023 sin  ni  tan siquiera  terminar  el  caso 2022 y es  por  eso  que  yo  les  hable  por  cuando  yo  ise  los  taxes  del  ao 2023  me  enter  de  que  ustedes  no  **********; hablado  con  el  irs  y los  contacte  y yo  ya  estaba en  ********* y es  por  eso  que  empeze  arreglos de  pagos  con  ellos  porque  me  dijeron  que  si  estaban  hay  nomas  porque  yo  les  di  una  autorizacin  pero  solo  eso  y  que  ustedes  nunca  hablaron  para  que  me  ************; el  pago   y yo  por eso  les  haba  pagado   de  cualquier manera  ustedes  nunca  me  dieron  una  copia  de  que  el  irs  haba  aceptado  negociar  conmigo  sobre  el  dinero  que  yo  les  devo  de  antemano  les  digo  que  me  regresen  mi  dinero  y ***********; los  intereses  que  se  acumularon  yo  *********; como  9400  y cuando  hable  con  el  irs  ya  eran  mas  de  10000  dolares  y estaba  en  ********* as  que  de  la  manera ms  atenta  les  pido  *************; que  me  regresen  mi  dinero  con  todos  los  intereses  acumulados   muchas gracias

      Company was supposed to send off my tax returns including state returns 2020 - 2022. two months ago when I signed them. IRS still does not have them. All they have is the **** I am doing my own taxes and sending them in so they canbe done. I have phoned, texted emailed everyone in the company and still have not received any responses. I need to complete my taxes as IRS is giving me until *****- to get them in. I would like to get a partial or full refund as Ideal tax has not done a complete job of anything including keeping me informed other than IRS is still reviewing.. How can they review something they don't have?

      Here is a series of text messages I have sent to Ideal text from me to Ideal Tax with no answers just more demands .

      I did call left my phone no. Recorder comes on says: We are Sorry their is no one available to take you call. I have left many calls, same recorder comes on.

      Also, I get no calls from Ideal Tax, only messages and emails with same approach "money" I have no problem paying would you ideal tax respond to my calls and give results on what I have paid for. I will pay but you Ideal Tax staff don't answer my phone calls

      I appreciated the phone call I received, phone disconnected, waited for u to call back, didn't happen so here I am agin texting. Like I said I do want to pay, but you still give me the same no answers, this has being on going while I was stay paying. All I hear is "Money" with no answers what has Ideal Tax done regarding my case what has being presented on my behave. So we can move forward and you get the remainder payment.

      Her is some documention on being blocked and threatened. When I call my calls not answered, although I did get text from an ************.

      Definite SCAM. I paid Ideal Tax $295 to help resolve the $9000 federal tax bill I owe. They suggested I sign over power of attorney and they would investigate the past 23 years of taxes, They said I would qualify for hardship. Said to expect a call 2 weeks later to go over the results of the tax investigation. I got a call from another gentleman not an attorney. Gave me general information that I could have googled myself. Wanted $1800 to extend the power of attorney and reach a payment plan with IRS because apparently I didn't qualify for a hardship even though this gentleman gave no specifics as to why. I selected the Fresh Start button on IRS website and was inundated with texts from this company.

      I put in an inquiry to them April 16, 2024. Answered their first call and was told they couldnt help me, and assumed that was the end of it. They proceeded to call me 8 more times, left 6 voicemails, and texted me several times. I texted the number back and asked them to please stop harassing me. And was texted back that i was being dramatic. I just want them to stop harassing me, and learn they cant treat people like this, especially people they are supposed to be helping.
