Hello,I was using peets app this morning to purchase a beverage. I clicked the purchase button and it stated that there was an error.I received an email from my bank stating that I was charged. The money was removed from my account but the purchase doesnt show up on the peets app.I contacted Peets and they stated it was a duplicate and that it would just fall off. This purchase did not fall off and I was still charged. This isnt the first time this has happened to me using the Peets app.

Terrible customer service for *******************************************. On 2 occasions I attempted to resolve issues about orders. The last attempt was today, July 8 2024. I called customer service for ******************************************* ************* to check the details of my last order which *** said was undeliverable. The person at customer service, both times, was nearly unintelligible. His accent was extremely strong, he talked very rapidly, and did not seem to understand what I was asking. I believe, based on my paraphrasing what I thought he said, that I had to call ***. I called *** with no resolution--the tracking number Peets had given me in an email is apparently incorrect. Somewhere along an over one hour series of phone calls someone told me that my Peets order had been delivered to a local US post office because *** could not, for some reason, deliver it. I was unable to reach the post office and have to call back tomorrow. At this point, I have no address to claim my package even if I had the correct tracking number. My complaint is that their customer service is virtually unusable because the person answering their 800 number is unintelligible and there is no other way to reach anyone over the phone. I filed a complaint with their corporate office.

For a while now, I have made Peets my go-to place for coffee. However, I have noticed a lack of customer service during the early morning hours. Often, the condiments are not replenished, and the workers sometimes make it seem like an inconvenience when you ask them to refill certain things. They may even ignore you completely. This has been an ongoing issue, but I believe it's time to prioritize customer service at all times. It seems like there might be other priorities during the Monday through Friday early morning shift. Interestingly, everyone seems to be on their best behavior when ****, the store manager, is present.

On 4/10/23, I received an email for my monthly subscription (Order PC-******* confirmed). Ten days later I contacted ****** to ask about its delivery status, still not shipped... I cancelled the order ($52.95) and placed a new order. Days later I received both orders. Year's ago this happened and ****** asked me to drop off the duplicated order at a nearby shop. Not now, the foreign, ***** based **************** was not helpful. Foreign ownership and foreign **************** have lost this former Peet's customers after 39 years.

I noticed tiny charges on my bank card from places I've never heard of. The charges are small enough to be overlooked when checking your bank statements. And this is exactly what is expected from scammers. You and thousands of others don't notice these small charges and the money goes to the scammer when it's all said and done. I've had charges from PEETS. COM and several other staged we sites constantly for months and didn't even notice until now. It's a scam. Don't let these small charges go unhandled. At the very least block the sites at your bank and keep blocking as they will use different websites to debit your account. Change your card number and get the malware that sent your card info to scammers off your PC.

Peets coffee company have sent two cheques that are unable to be cashed, stating that funds have already been paid . The funds have not been paid. There have been multiple problems with this company and refunds not applied all of which have had to have been followed up. All transactions are noted. All refunds have been noted as well as all charges and they do not add up. $11.80 cheque #****** - 14/5/22 And $5.70 cheque #****** - 12/5/22 Both to order of **********************These refunds remain outstanding, nor shown as being refunded on bank statements . Only refunds of previous charges that have been refunded have been . 2 outstanding refunds need 2 b applied to account or court action shall be taken against Peets + additional costs. Emails from Peets promising refund also attached .Since the year is soon to pass all necessary actions now being taken.cheques should b resent & not cancelled as done before , unless they would like to offer proof that refund has been applied. Which they cannot do, since refunds have not been applied. Refunds for other charges have been applied but they can not be duplicated 2 cover another refund, therefore only refunding one transaction instead of 2. bank statements can be shown as proof. All charges & returns . Peets owe this money . They should send it . Court will cost far much more & i will win. There have been four outstanding refunds. Only 2 refunded & Peets are trying to duplicate those refunds stating charges have already been refunded when in actual fact they haves. Only a previous refund for same or similar amount have been, since the company repeat their same mistakes at shops. IE making extremely bad coffee drinks that are made not only wrongly but poorly, coupled up with being entirely the wrong type of drink as initially ordered . Why we should have to pay for such a thing that is only hence returned is not going to be ever acceptable. This being based upon principle not dollar amount!

I placed a mobile Order # ***************** on 4/20/23. The order got sent to the wrong Peet's. When I went to the correct ****** there was no order and I had to repurchase the items. I then went on the Peet's online chat and discussed the problems. They did issue me back the rewards points and refund, but the refund went back to my peet's account instead of my credit card. When I requested money back to my credit card (original payment) kept asking for my email, card number and expiration date. I gave them my email and last four of the card but I didn't feel comfortable giving the expiration date. I kept asking if it could just be refunded to the original payment source. They kept rejecting this. This is a violation of a very personal and sensitive information. There is already a transaction that ****** can see, order #, email, last four. Disclosing any more would put me at risk for credit card fraud. I don't quite understand because in the same scenario other merchants do not ask for this much information as they already have it. To have to disclose it to chat associate ( ***************) is worrisome. It is also concerning that default refund is to ****** account (so that ****** still retains customer's payment) and not back to original payment source.please see chat transcript

On February 10th 2023 I loaded $15 onto my Peet's card to make a purchase. When later checking my bank account, I had been billed the $15 on February 11th, and was billed an additional, unauthorized amount of $25. Further, on February 12th I was billed two separate $25 charges that were also unauthorized and unaccounted for. At no point on or after 10Feb2023 did I make additional $75 in purchases at Peets and the $75 is not reflected in my Peets card balance. I've tried calling and emailing Peets, but they do not respond to calls and haven't responded to my email.
