I purchased a tv from target in January 2022, In early April a vertical and horizontal green line appeared I began to contact customer service and got no response via their e-mail. I continued to try and contact the company and the phone number provided hangs up immediately. I have not been able to get any support for a tv that should be covered.

purchased television from Target on early black friday sale on line picked up at store for Xmas present. put up tv on 12/26/2022. Stayed on for 30 minutes total and stopped working completely. need help call number before returning to store. I did went through all their technical assistance and was advised that they would need to accept pictures and copy of sales ticket to process refund to just keep tv at home would send an email for the information to be accepted. given a access reference number 990222 do not contact store. it is 01/04/2023 and have not received an email phone call text usps of any contact to obtain accept information requested and the return date for the store ends on 01/31/2023 for a refund of said monies. They are ghosting and not complying with their policy procedures as cited information included. I would like to complain to the consumer trade commission in Washington if I cannot seek a refund for a non working tv purchased as promised. Upon looking on target site I have read many complaints against this product citing the exact same issues at hand the product is being considered faulty but the company is still allowing purchase of said product knowing that it has issues of con compliance working. They seem to want the time frame of refunding to be allowed so that no money can will be refunded and the consumer is stuck with a non working smart tv not working and out of their cost. The product is not repairable as of this date it does not work and is still in my home and I am on a time frame to retrieve any funds from this non working smart roko westinghouse 65 in television.

I have tried to get help with the tv before the warranty expired, every time I called they just did troubleshooting. I have had several different issues. Now I am told that the warranty has expired and to take the tv to a local repair shop and fix it myself, this is what I was told. I have WiFi issues, have to keep resetting it, it turns off at anytime, it’s getting worse. A new tv shouldn’t have all of these problems

I purchased a Westinghouse TV from Best Buy and within three months the DVD player began to act up. It would only play certain DVDs. After a while the DVD player would not work at all so I initiated a warranty claim. I followed all the guidelines stated in my customer service email and the TV was delivered on May 3rd of 2022. As of today November 19th, 2022 I still have not been told if they received the TV. According to the warranty department they are still waiting for an "update" from the warehouse department. I have received one call back from a representative who provided no new information.

I purchased a Westinghouse television from Target on 5/28/2022. We opened it and used it mid June- October. On Wednesday October 26th, 2022 I called because the tv picture was flickering. After troubleshooting, the rep determined it was a bad tv. They stated the policy doesn’t cover replacement and they would refund me less any sales and tax amounts. Upon looking up the warranty information which states they will repair or replace the item we called to speak with them regarding this and they still stated they only refund minus taxes and sales prices. We asked for a supervisor to which we were told there were non available and someone would call us when they came in at 3 am eastern time Thursday. No call came, we called again at 8 am Eastern time Thursday and were again told no supervisors were available and I was in for a call back. I then called them again that evening and was told no supervisors were available and they provided me with the corporate office. Friday, I called the corporate office and it’s just a voicemail so I left a message at 12 Pacific time. I then called again 6 hours later and left another voicemail with still no return call. I then called Sunday and was again told no supervisors. They were all on vacation so no one was able to speak with me, which I find highly unacceptable that there are no supervisors available to speak with customers. I am now at 5 days since my issue started with no resolution, a tv that doesn’t work, and poor customer service.

3/13/2021 purchased through HSN a 65" Westinghouse Roku TV for $699.99. It included a 2-year warranty. On August 29th of this year it would not turn on no matter what I did. In other words it stopped working altogether. Contacted Westinghouse to no avail. The easy solution is for Westinghouse to reimburse my money.

On January 1, 2022, I purchased a 75" Westinghouse TV from Target for $705.23 ($659.99 without taxes). The end of April 2022 I noticed lines appearing in my TV, directly in the middle and going all the way across. The color around the line was distorted making watching TV difficult. Target wouldn't take the TV back due to it being over 30 days, so I contacted Westinghouse on May 3, 2022 by email. I inquired on what could be done since I had the TV for only 4 months and it was defected. I was contacted on May 5, 2022 (case# 964294) asking for the information on my TV. They advised me on steps to take to see if the lines would go away. The lines were still in the TV, so they told me to recycle it. I explained to them that I was having a hard time finding someone to recycle a 75" TV. They told me it was ok, and I was approved to go drop it at a dump and take pictures and so that is what I did. After sending the pictures I was told it would be 20 days before I would receive my refund, that was July 14, 2022. After many emails with ZERO replies, and multiple phone calls with them blaming the accounting department, I haven't received my refund of a TV they told me to dump. I dumped my TV with confidence they would honor their part. If they weren't going to honor their side, then they should have never told me to dump my TV because now I haven been TV less for 2 months waiting on a refund to purchase a new TV.

Purchased a Westinghouse tv in Juky 2021, started having issues with the screen being blank and non responsive. reseting the tv would resolve the issue temporary. After a few months of progresively getting worse, decided to call in the warranty, this was April4 th 2022. AFter many calls in to the service desk to try and resolve, nothing worked so they asked for pictures and proof that the screen was not comming on! (yea, no easy task) They accepted our claim and said I had to shit the tv to CAlifornia, I refused because the cost was 156$. So they gave me an alternative shipping address in Ontario for $75 and informed me that if the tv got there broken it would void the warranty!! They received it and finally accepted my warranty claim,(may 5 2022) I had sucessfully jumped through all their hoops. I received validation that they would senfd to corporate office for processing. Some e-mail followed to confirm my shiping address, and inform me thst it was going to be shipped to fiannce for processing. Received confirmation from finance, confirming reception and wanted to confirm my address, for the 3rd time. A few days later(June 27) thnked me for confirming and inform me it would take 20 buisness days and I would get an e-mail when it was sent. We are now August 14 (Almost 40 buisiness days) and still no e-mail. Sent them an e-mail Aug 8 to request update, no response. Called Aug 14 was told customer service sent my e-mail to finance but they did not receive a response from them. Case # 95**11

Westinghouse is failing to honor their warranty for a tv that malfunctioned after only 7 month. Their warranty submission process has been riddled with erroneous instructions and I have received conflicting reports each time I call. I asked to have my complaint escalated and now my number seems to be blocked as it now goes unanswered. I have fulfilled every request they made, including faxing and mailing forms instead of emailing because they “were having issues with attachments” all the way upto recycling my TV prior to receiving resolution. I recently was told they we’re having issues in thier accounting department and that’s why my check was not sent as promised. Seeing many similar complaints to BBB I am concerned this a pattern of behavior. Please advise. ***** ###-###-####

I had purchased a monitor that went bad under warranty. They created a case # and told me to ship it back to them at my cost on 3/18/22 case #******. I shipped the monitor to them via **** and they have had it 11 days now. I have the tracking #************************** and signature that it was received. They refuse to acknowledge that it was received. They refuse to send a replacement or if not in stock, a check. The phone number that they give goes to ***** and the woman there doesn't care. All she says is they are waiting on the warehouse. Whatever that means. I have now been without a monitor for over a month. Today is 4/15/22. I need the purchase price of the monitor back ASAP. This has been the worst warranty replacement experience I have ever had.
