AWESOME COMPANY!!! I saw Comfort **** advertised on KUSI. I called and got an appointment that day. The owner of the company came out and talk to me about what I needed. Went over different prices and financing. The owner **** is very personable and I felt confident that I was getting the best deal. I opted for financing through Greensky and that experience was the best they do not allow you to take out a loan through their company unless you have read through all of the disclosures in my case, I opted for going for a long term loan at a very good interest rate. Today two very wonderful technicians **** and **** came to my home and worked as a team to install a new AC unit in My Home. I feel very blessed that I found this company so very few are owner owned and operated these days. They take great pride in their product and satisfaction of their customers. My previous AC unit I had for 20 years and it was failing. **** gave me an option of three different units I could purchase and we went with the best one for my home, this experience couldn't have gone any better. When I had questions, the owner answered them for me not a phone tree...I didn't get sent to somebody in a different state. I dealt straight with the owner and that made me feel very confident that I was getting the best deal **** is very honest and you will enjoy him and his team of people, I wouldn't hesitate to have him come and give you a quote. Comfort Brothers representative was very courteous and slick. He arrived at my newly purchased home and presented me with three very good choices of air conditioning units, kind of a good, better and best. I chose the better unit because it was according to the price he presented me with withing my budget. The monthly cost of the unit would be $89 monthly. I didn't stop to think that this was too good to be true. The old saying by P.T. ****** there's a sucker born every minute surely did pertain to me! I agreed to call his office and start the finance procedures, so lo and behold i was directed to a third party finance company called GREEN SKY. This company approved my loan for the cost of the unit which was approximately 7K. Well the cost of the loan was going to be at 25 % interest finance. The payment turns out would be $209 monthly and to top it off the loan would be AMORTIZED. Big word meaning my newly purchased home would have a lien placed on it if i didn't pay off the loan in twelve months . I thank god i read everything before i activated the loan and i called the home office and declined the purchase of the unit. Warning *************************! danger! danger!

Good Morning ****, Unfortunately this is a misunderstanding of our financing options. Like most home service businesses we do offer financing, and it is through a third party vendor. This was conveyed to you by **************, however we believe the communication wasn't clearly expressed and for that we apologize. Payment at a long term option would have been under $100 per month, however you expressed to our staff you were interested in the 0% financing option, which is a shorter term option making the payments larger. This is not a scam, we pride ourselves on transparency. The loan you stated you wanted was 0% for 12 months and if its not paid off in 12 months it converts to a 84 month loan at 24% interest. The Amortization of the loan would not have taken place if the loan had been paid off in the 84 month term, which yes, did include a much higher interest rate if the loan was not paid off in the first 12 months.Our staff was transparent, but unfortunately there was, as stated a misunderstanding as you had assumed that payments would be going straight to our small business and that is just not the case. We are a small family owned business and we pride ourselves of honesty and integrity. In the future we will be explaining more clearly the financing plans as we believe that this was just a simple miscommunication and we are not a company out to scam our clients or mislead them.
