This interface and off-shored customer support are both completely useless. Its 100% terrible. They market how much time they save you, but God help you if you need support. The interface is full of bugs and barely works. If you misprint a label, and request a refund for something botched, plan on waiting months for the refund, and if you call support, plan on a 45 minute wait time, and explaining the issue 7-8 times with someone who has difficulty understanding English.Stamps.com

Hi ***, thank you for your feedback and we are sorry to hear that you had such a negative experience. We do have a wide variety of customers - over a million customers-who enjoy the experience of not having to rely on expensive postage meters and who require more functionality and features than what other PC ******* services currently offer. Our Free Tech Line is available 6AM to 6PM, Monday through Friday at ************ to address any printing or technical issues our customers may be having. Please let us know what feature in our interface you had specific issues with. Wed be happy to address any concerns or issues you encountered. We do offer a reprint feature in which you can print your label at no extra cost. Rest assured that refund requests do not take months to be processed. The way you submit the request determines the timeline for refund processing: Electronic Refunds: You must submit e-refund requests for shipping labels within 28 days of the print date. Once approved, the system refunds postage to your account within 21 days. Mail-In Refunds: Once approved, Stamps.com sends you an email notification and deposits the refund into your account. Refund requests are generally processed within 12 weeks of receipt of a claim. Again we apologize for the inconvenience and negative experience.
Sincerely,

Wish I checked here first - it is a scam that borderline stays on the legal side. The membership fee is super hidden you'll be hit with $20/month after a trial. I've never in my life missed a membership fee with any other site (over 100) that I've used...because I've never used one that HIDES it so deep in the small print. No email notifying you that your trial expires. No email notifying you of upcoming charges. No email (or even online receipt) that tells you about being charged.Very very slow customer service response.Operating in such misleading (if legal) ways should be illegal and is at the very least a shameful excuse for a product.Stamps.com

Hi *******,
Thank you for your feedback. Customer satisfaction is very important to us. We apologize for any misunderstanding. We hear your concerns and we fully disclose our fees before any account can be created. We don't advertise or offer a free or pay-as-you-go service, and as disclosed and explained during registration, we do charge a $19.99 monthly fee after the 4-Week Trial Period, which ended on your account on 4/13/24. We show that you closed your account on 5/3/24 and we apologize for any misunderstanding on this. Rest assured that we have refunded $31.98 to you today.
The fee we charge gives you access to services of the *********** and the license to print official U.S. postage. Its a flat fee that is not determined by how much postage you print. Stamps.com is a vendor licensed by the ***** and all paid postage goes directly to the ***********. In order to offer our standard service, we do charge a monthly subscription fee, as stated in our Terms of Service: www.stamps.com/conditions
We never charge people without their full agreement during our online registration process. Our service fee is not based on usage or activity. The monthly subscription service fee that Stamps.com charges is for access of the Stamps.com software, which allows customers to print postage from the comfort of their home or small office using just a PC and a printer. Our service is a monthly subscription service so its not based on usage of the software, but rather on having access to using it.
We believe in full disclosure, and information about our fees is available on our website, interface, Terms, and FAQs.

Shady business practices. Apparently I was signed up for a trial - though I truly don't remember doing that last July. Stamps.com *never* sent an email to me. I keep everything, and the only email I have from them is the one they sent when I cancelled. So monthly charges for nearly a year. I have multiple accounts, and I regrettably didn't see their recurring charge among everything else. But a reputable business will let you know before charging your account, and they will communicate with you about your subscription. These guys fly under the radar and undoubtedly collect millions off of unsuspecting customers.Stamps.com

Do not use Stamps.com I tried the site to print a stamp and it auto registered for a monthly account. Tried multiple times to cancel account. There is no clear way to do this. I called, used the chat, followed the "instructions" which just are just an endless loop. When you call they hang up on you. Charged me hundreds of dollars. I finally had to cancel my credit card to get them to stop charging me. Beyond Horrible.Stamps.com

Tricked (as another reviewer wrote). I had entered my credit card to order first class stamps last Spring which I intended to be a one-off. Apparently, I was enrolled (not intending to) into a free trail that converted to a monthly ProPlan- which with tax - is $21.76 a month. I only realized this today, and immediately cancelled my subscription online. This is 3 days into the month for which I am being charged the full amount or a service fee of $21.This is my worst online experience. I purchased the stamps just for personal use (I am not a business) and I am now out $200 (!). In short, I would not go anywhere near this business ever again. It seems to be a business model that is predicated on tricking people into signing up for monthly charges rather than for the services this company purportedly provides.Stamps.com

Stamps.com required entering credit card information when all I wanted to do was see if I could buy stamps. A few weeks later, I had a recurring charge on my credit card. Beware and do not use this "service" unless you are clear it is a service that you will be charged for when you don't get anything from it. Then to top it off they make you CALL THEM ONLY M-F PST from 6-6 in order to cancel the ** recurring charge. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THESE CROOKS!Stamps.com
