I serviced my car on 6/15 at Benz of Fairfield, upon handing over my keys I told the service advisor my AC was blowing out hot ******* also needed a diagnostic because my car engine light was on. The engine light would come on & off. I was told it would be two separate fees one to recharge the ac & one for the diagnosis . the diagnostic for the service engine light was covered under a warranty I only had to pay for the ac. when I went to pick up my car the advisor was gone so I spoke with another person that informed me there was a separate AC diagnosis fee which is NOT what the advisor I was working with. I was told I needed a new control switch, I was quoted 229 for the part the part was listed on Benz of Fairfield website for only 135 dollars.I ordered the part myself and guess what that wasnt the issue. I called the dealership and was informed they listed on the receipt may also be another issue not only did they not verbally tell me there was another issue they listed it on a receipt ! A receipt is typically thrown out ? Is it not ?when I called to talk about the issue when of the employees answered the phone saying yo whats up that goes to show what kind of employees they got working ! No empathy for the fact I wasted about 600 dollars , traveled almost a hour to service my car with two kids ! I have an asthmatic child and a newborn its a safety hazard to ride without cool air . How many babies suffocate in hot cars ? I payed for a diagnosis every possible issue shouldve been listed , not one issue at a time thats a way to generally F**k people over. I spoke to one of the managers ******* who tried to justify his employees actions by saying well it was written on the receipt another possible issue for a 330 dollar ac diagnosis every possible issue shouldve been listed ! So much for customer satisfaction . Still waiting for the general manager to call me of course absolutely nothing !

F FOR FOUL PLAY AND TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE SERVICE **** SHOULDN'T BE ALLOWED TO WORK ON A TONKA TRUCK. I PURCHASED A PRECERTIFIED *** THAT SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN CERTIFIED. 1 YEAR LATER THE *** SOUNDS LIKE A JET ENGINE. I TAKE THE *** IN AND THEY TELL ME THIS WIL NOT BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY AND IN **** IT WILL BE 12K TO REPAIR. MERCEDES STATED THAT THE WIND LIFTED THE OUTER PORTION OF THE *** AND WATER CAUSE THE DAMAGE FROM THE RAIN. RELUCTANTLY FILED A CLAIM WITH MY INSURANCE AND MY INSURANCE SAID MERCEDES IS TRYING TO PASS THE ***** THIS IS A DEFECT. COME TO FIND OUT THE *** WAS IN A PRIOR ACCIDENT. I SENT THIS CNFIRMED INFO OVER TO THE ** AND THEY STILL WON'T COVER MY *** UNDER WARRANTY. THEY STATED THEY SNAPPED THE PART BACK AND LEFT MY *** OUT IN THE ELEMENT "WIND AND RAIN" THAT STATED CAUSED THE DAMAGE IN THE 1ST PLACE. TO ADD, HOW DO I NOW KNOW AFTER THE **** THE *** WAS IN AN ACVIDENT THAT HIT A HOUSE AND BRICKS AND THE ** IS STILL DENYING RESPONSIBILITY OF MERCEDES PRECERTIFYING THE ***. YOU WOULD THINK SPECIALIST FROM A LUXURY BRAND WOULD KNOW WHAT TO LOOK FOR. I AM NOW STUCK WITH A *** NOTE AND A *** THAT I CANNOT DRIVE WHILE MERCEDES CONTINUES TO SELL PRECERTIFIED ***S THAT THEY OBVIOUSLY ARE NOT QUALIFIED TO DO SO.

I bought my first Mercedes Benz from them and I never thought I would be here writing this review. My first review was totally positive and this one is totally negative.I will never take my car to Mercedes Benz in Fairfield again. My car had a recall so I took it to them for the repairs. I got a loaner car and they did a walk around with me the day it was given to me. I just returned the car to them they did not do a walk around with me, they simply gave me my car and let me leave. They called me an hour and a half later to tell me I owe them $150 in damage for a rim abrasion that they are sorry no one did a walk around with me and that they can send me before and after pictures.I know for a fact that I did not damage the rim, As I would have been able to fill the car scrape against this cement. After I left today, who knows who drove the loaner car? It couldve been one of the attendants that works there, either way I did not do the damage and that is complete BS. I will never do business with Mercedes Benz of Fairfield again. I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I will never recommend them like I have in the past for this incident. I am absolutely irate. What horrible service.
