This is more of an ethical concern with this company and what they allow, or perhaps, encourage their employees to engage in. My dad apparently ordered some meat/steaks from this company and two men brought them to him. He bought a lot of meat. Like, way too much. Anyway, my dad isn't necessarily doing well right now personally and upon arriving back from running some errands, my mom and I found that the two delivery men had been "hanging out" inside the house with my dad. They were drinking and just having a good ol time. It was upsetting as my mom did not know these men and here they were, in her house, drinking both beer and tequila, as well as accepting gifts from my dad. He gave them both personal items from the house as gifts. I mean, truly these two men do not know my dad and had only interacted with him one other time for business purposes. My dad is also a man in his 60's and both of these men looked significantly younger than him. While I acknowledge the fact that they were invited in, and don't think there was any malicious intent there (or rather, would hope not), it's concerning to me that this company would condone this type of behavior. Specifically, drinking and driving back to ****** in a company vehicle. (We are 2.5 hours away). Also, is there no ethical guidelines with this company regarding accepting gifts from customers and hanging out with them in their homes? We are genuinely just curious what the company's stand is on this matter.I say all this to say that we would like to speak with the company's owner or at least some sort of manager to get some clarity. Also, be cautious with this company. This was a clear and overt example of their delivery guys taking advantage of a customer and a situation that seemed too good to pass up.Pacific Prime Foods Inc

Bought some off a guy who came to my door. He was honest about the steaks and where they come from. He was very helpful went as far as moving my door that had fallen over. I decided to buy some steaks. Grocery stores are the real crooks and im tired of spending hundreds of dollars and only having one bag to show for it. I received 42 steaks and felt like that was one of the best deals Ive ever gotten I want to thank Pacific Prime and a delivery driver ****** for an amazing deal, and still enjoying my steak nights thank you.Pacific Prime Foods Inc

BUYER BEWARE!!!Do not buy into any scammy sales person in a Pacific Pride van acting innocent and selling you a freezer full of food. Don't get suckered in and scammed like we did. The freezer they "gave us" failed and all the food that we never even tried less than 2 weeks after the salesman set it up and packed for us was rotten. Meat and shellfish rancid and smelled up our garage when we opened the freezer. We immediately reached out to **** who sold this to us and he said he'd be at our home to investigate in about 1 hour. He never showed, never returned calls. Reached out to ********** the owner and he called my husband and I "liars" not sure what he meant by that. In reality this is a scam company as our experience was the owner took pride in not having to take responsibly that the freezer they packaged and set up obviously failed and he could care less. When a company runs into a snag...the whole protection as a consumer is they would try to make this wrong a right and satisfy a customer who paid them $1500.00 and got nothing. We take pride in what we sell as we offer a one year guarantee for tenderness flavor and freezer burn. Customer stated the freezer stopped working and the food ended up thawing out. I explained to the customer that if the freezer was in fact defective we would replace food. When customer dropped off freezer we plugged it in and the temperature dropped to -10 degrees. We called customer to let him know the freezer was working. Customer then stated hes not sure but the freezer was the cause. I the freezer was brand new from Lowes. I explained to the customer in 20 years and literally over thousands of freezers given to customers weve only ran across this situation twice. One was a power outage the other was human error where someone accidentally kicked the cord and it wasnt plugged in all the way. Lies during interviews. Hires anybody. Unpaid 12 hour ride along for door to door employment (even though hiring says route drivers). Manager says ****** comments and tries to fight people. Shady pay scales and business practices. Preys on the elderly and EBT card holders.Pacific Prime Foods Inc

Came to our house selling xtra meat. Seemed legit so I bought the steak burgers. TERRIBLE!! So many fillers and the meat looked pink and white. More white than pink. Quality was terrible. I was concerned about what I was eating because I could not identify ************* was made of. The lowest quality burger I have every purchased.Pacific Prime Foods Inc

Extremely poor quality and horrible prices. Do your research before you buy from them. They charged $105 for eight, 4oz USDA choice filets. They do not disclose the weight to you during their sales process for a reason! Your local grocery store has USDA choice filet steaks for $24 per pound. That's $48 for the same amount and grade of meat, and it probably presents much better than this garbage. I respect anyone's hustle, but that's exactly what this company is. A hustle! Just as many of these reviews I purchased meat from the nice sales person who was trying to offload his product for the day. I admit it was probably a bad move on my part but the guy seemed nice and trustworthy. After buying a box of meat I started to unload it into a freezer within 15minutes and the "frozen meat" had started to show signs of defrosting (juice was bubbling up and the vacuum seal was loose on several pieces of meat. I was pretty forgiving and called the company asking if I can return it within 40-minutes of drop off. At this time I was open to an exchange to give them an opportunity to make things right. Unfortunately, after speaking to the owner Lee, I had a complete new insight into the way this business was run. I shared my concern with him and he accused me of lying. He let me know that his sales rep would never deliver defrosted meat. I let him know the meat was frozen it just was defrosted on the sides and there is air in the packaging which tells me this has probably happened before. He told me he would have a rep come by to pick it up and make sure the product has not been defrosted otherwise he can't take it back. After clarifying and reminding him that the only reason I called to return the meat is because it was already defrosting. He refused to except this truth. Fast forward 3 weeks and he finally sent a team over to pick up the meat and he told me he did not like the state of packaging so he could not return it. The state of packaging was frozen meat (more so than I received it) with the air pockets and ice from the defrosted meat I mentioned. This company has some great employees, I'm assuming retention is probably not good due to the poor leadership and ownership Lee is willing to take when his product is delivered to a standard that is dangerous to consume. We here at Pacific Prime Foods take pride in our product. We do not accept payment until customer accepts product. All of our products are frozen when delivered to the customer. As our freezer must be below freezing as inspected by the Health Department. We do offer a 100% guarantee on all of our product . Our driver came back to pick up food and refund payment but and the product must be in the same condition as when you purchased product . We can not take back frozen food that has been thawed an d refrozen. Unfortunately when the driver came to pick up product, it had been thawed out and refrozen. I apologize on behalf of the company for your bad experience but product was given to you frozen (the same product the driver showed you is what you purchased ) we can not refund you back unless we receive it in the same condition when you purchased product.Review fromMrs M

We were swindled today by Richard or Rich (if that was his name) in Lincoln CA. He started by saying a lady named Nancy bought xyz down the street and he was trying to sell the rest of the box. We talked, he seemed genuine so we bought three boxes. We paid cash and no receipt was provided to us. $75.00 is what we paid for the NY Strip, Chopped steaks, and Pepper Steaks. Upon closer review, all of the meat was EXPIRED. Frozen and expired. We cooked one of each type of meat from frozen and ALL of it was DISGUSTING. All I could do was cry. We aren't rich and we work very hard for our money. Called Rich and turns out it was a FAKE number he gave us. It hasn't even been 4 hours. Called the Department of Consumer Affairs and started a complaint for investigation out of the Fresno Office because eventhough they claim to be in Sacramento, CA they are not located there. It's a recession and these people are heartless conartists. Both of us have friends in the media and this company just ran into the wrong people to scam.
