Got referred to this place, so I stopped by. Spoke to **** about a small part that I needed. He assured me that they could do it and to leave the original part as a guide, and that he would send over a quote. About two hours later I get an email from him with a bill attached, asking me to please pay the full balance before any work could begin. And that the quote given is subject to change. Not a deposit, but in full. Then I noticed that the bill was more than the quote given.I was told to speak to the owner about this, *****. ***** started the conversation extremely defensive, unprofessional, and rude. He was yelling and even hung up on me. Obviously, they didn't trust me to pay this bill for whatever reason but don't know why seeing as how they had my original part. I never had anything of theirs. So why wouldn't I pay? Or if I didn't pay, how would I get my original part back? I know what this was really about, but I'll just keep these thoughts to myself.It all ended up working out for the best. The next day I found another place a few miles away called West LA 3D Printing. They were very professional, courteous, timely, and cheaper. And I was never asked to pay upfront at all.I would never recommend There you have it 3D to anyone. And if you still decide to do business with them at all, make sure to ask about their payment policy upfront. Or do what I did and take your business over to West LA 3D printing. Where it's appreciated, and everyone is welcome.*****, responded back to this review with an attempt to mislead the reader. He never stated if the work was unsatisfactory that it would be remedied or refunded in full. Nor was it written in the quote or email. This is a complete fabrication of our conversation. ***** also went as far as to have my (yelp review removed) so that he could continue to mislead A potential customer. This business owner is not to be trusted. proceed with extreme caution when dealing with this company.
