So many bad reviews I wanted to post my experience.I recently became a member, I was having issues with scam callers spoofing their numbers to make it look like their from my area code. I had 10 to 20 calls a day. It was driving me literally crazy. Thanks to youmail it was reduced to zero. I really love the screen unknown caller feature. It uses captcha to block them. For me on att network, It was easy to set up. I only use it for voicemail and phone. I don't use it for text messages. I like that they offer it as a option. I'm trying out the protect my data feature to protect me from data brokers. I had no issues with billing so far and haven't had to speak to their support team yet. My subscription is through the playstore and I'm billed monthly. I believe it's $8.61 (with local taxes). I like the service and if does what I need it to. Try it out and see for yourself.

BEWARE!!!!This comanies product is decent. I used it for several years and it was pretty good / okay. Finally logged into stop my auto-renewal because I want to look at other option.Well in doing that, I realized that every single time my subscription renewed it went up by about $20. My first year was $120 my last year was $180 with no changes to my plan. Fine, whatever.I then went to try and remove my auto-renew and couldn't find an option, so I decided to cancel my plan. Well if you cancel your plan your service stops immediately, you don't even get to use the rest of the months you payed for.I contacted their customer support and they confirmed that you can't turn off auto-renew and you if you cancel, your service will stop immediately. This is OBVIOUSLY a clear ploy to keep people locked in long enough to forget about their renewal and pay for another year.YouMail is an "okay" products with TRASH customer service, and it shows!

The review has some fair points. However, to cancel while continuing to use the service until the end of the billing period, all that's necessary is to remove the payment method, which is doable from the web site "billing" section if the user paid by credit card. We'll make sure our service team and product are clear about this. We are working to support an easier more obvious way to do this. Please contact the team and mention this review and we'll ensure you get the remaining months on your annual plan without an automatic renewal. On the other key point, YouMail's top plans have gone ** in price over the years by about $1/month/year, which is necessary to cover costs and to allow us to put in new features, and which isn't different from most subscription services. Inflation is a killer for service companies like ours.

I have contacted this company several times informing them that my work line is not a scam after proving it over and over again. This company is pay to play, charges for disinformation correction. Completely unethical.

We use an automated algorithm to determine whether or a not a number should be labeled spam that includes data from a number of sources, including consumer spam reports, actual audio behavior of calls from the number, calling patterns including whether or not calls are authenticated, whether or not the ownership was verified, and more. The algorithm updates itself and its labeling over time based on the behavior we see of calls from that number. There is no pay to play. There is a premium offer by which people can verify their number ownership (which costs us money to do), as well as get status reports on what's going on with their number in terms of observed behavior. Verified numbers are treated slightly differently in the algorithm because verification tends to correlate with less spammy behavior, but it's minor and no one has to pay for numbers to eventually be cleaned up, as long as they don't get lots of consumer complaints.

Do not want to continue this service wasnt it cancelled and removed from my credit card. It has been useless to me and price is to high

All the customer has to do to cancel is logi to our web site, click orders, click view order, and then cancel. https://dashboard.youmail.com/settings/orders - or in the apps, they can click settings, account settings, and manage subscription and payment and do roughly the same thing. Or the user can even call ************ as a paid user and have a representative help them. This complaint is unfair, given how easy we make it to cancel a premium order. But more than that, this user does not appear to ever have had a paid order, so there is no credit card to remove on her account, so we're baffled as to why she thinks she is paying.
