      Beware of Sports City - Unethical Practices and ********************* I had a very disappointing experience with Sports City in *******, **. I joined the gym to help my daughter, who struggles with mental health issues and body image concerns due to PCOS. After paying a significant amount of money$195 for personal training, plus additional feesI was dissatisfied with the service after just one session. My daughter didnt feel the training was suitable for her, so I tried to cancel the services.The problem began when the general manager, the only person authorized to cancel memberships, was never available. He was either on vacation, at lunch, or unreachable by phone. Even when I did manage to speak with him, he promised to send an email to expedite the cancellation, but it never *********** took almost three months to cancel the services, and despite following their instructions (including sending a certified letter), they continued to charge my card. I felt completely helpless. When I spoke to someone who collects fees, he simply said, "I dont get paid enough to help."One day, my daughter needed to train for basketball. Our membership included gym access, but when we tried to use the court, they gave it to non-members who paid for the day. The front desk staff said to come to him if there was an issue but later refused to help. I felt ripped off. Canceling was a nightmare too. This gym's a scam yall. Don't go!I was scammed, and Sports City owes me $195 for services I didnt want or receive. I highly advise against using this gymthey dont care about their customers and will take your money without delivering on promises.

      Male staff entering females bathroom Without notifying patron that they are entering. This has happened multiple times. Staff refuses to listen, very rude staff. Please help suing this company for non compliance. Thank you

      La fitness from *********************, I have been attending LA Fitness for more than a year. The steam room have not been working for more than 3 weeks. As everyone else we pay our monthly dues so we can use the services. Ive call the gym and ask when are the going to fix the problem. The always answer we havent got the technician here to fix the problems. I hate the way they ignore our concerns. I would like this to be resolved soon.

      Dear LA Fitness Corporate Team, I am filing a formal complaint regarding the ************* at **LA Fitness (***************************************, *******, **)** under **Manager ********. Staff are not properly supervising children, creating unsafe conditions, and management has failed to address repeated concerns. Additionally, I believe that because I have brought these issues to their attention, my child and I are now being targeted. Staff are mistreating my child and making it uncomfortable for me to work out, despite my status as a paying member. I am being treated unfairly as both a client and a parent, which is unacceptable. ### **Requested Actions:** - Investigate staff misconduct and managements handling of concerns. - Ensure fair treatment of all members, including myself. - A formal response outlining corrective steps. If I do not received a response I will look for other way for help.*******. T

      First and foremost, I dealt with racism last week and was harassed, now this week someone leaves a jump rope in your swimming pool that I nearly tripped over. One elderly man did trip over the rope inside the pool. I removed the rope from the swimming pool and put it on the side of the pool. A lady asked me who removed the rope I said I did because I nearly fell. I spoke with the manager and the manager response was I should have asked whose rope it was. If I would have fell you all would have been liable. There is no ACCOUNTABILITY WHATSOEVER by your employees and management.

      ***************** in ************. This is what investment companies do - they run the buildings, swimming pool, and equipment into disrepair. They paint over the filth that is allowed to accumulate throughout the year. They never clean the swimming pool, bathrooms etc... They train employees to deny and deflect any issues that customers may have. Even a service like free wi-fi is none existent. I was told today that wi-fi is no big deal because everybody has unlimited data plans now - well, some of us do not (only family plans have deals like unlimited data, otherwise these plans are very expensive. I have to buy an unlimited plan just to listen to music for 1 hour at the gym?)

      I guess that this is it with my experience at this place!!!I have been harassed by some dude for the longest at this location and when explained everything to management and almost every one on the the chain of command and I what I got the answer that there is nothing much they can do and if I dare to defend myself I can also be banned. I was promised by one of the staffers that if I would point out who the person was they will cancel his membership which I did and nothing was made even before my eyes while he was throwing Fitz at me; I guess this person still coming. gave 2 weeks to the main manager to solve the situation and I am still waiting on nothing which leads me to think that when going to an LA FITNESS you're on your own on this type of events. what a shame!!!thankfully everything happens for a reason; I go to a cleaner, better managed, well maintained and with a decent crowd. Thank God for the good manager out there!!

      Oh and I just realized that the management's argument was that "I failed to point out the person" when I showed to front desk and the management at the moment. THIS IS JUST A CONFIRMATION OF HOW DECEIVING MANAGEMENT CAN BE WHEN THEY ARE INCOMPETENT. I would like to add that I will held LA fitness responsible for any tragic outcome that might come as a result of its incompetence given the fact of the seriousness of this situation and that this is constantly happening to the point that I was almost assaulted on their parking lot.

      The headquarters is in a terrible state, the air conditioning does not work, the wet areas are out of service and the women's bathroom does not have access to the wet areas, they charge a $70 annual maintenance fee that is not seen at the headquarters.

      Ive had an incredibly frustrating experience with LA Fitness, and I feel compelled to share it.For the past few months, Ive been trying to cancel my membership with them, but its been nothing but a never-ending cycle of miscommunication and frustration. I went to my local branch to cancel, and they told me to send an email. I followed their instructions, only to receive an email back saying I needed to go to the branch again! Its a complete runaround.I spoke to a staff member named Farit S, who assured me that emailing would resolve the cancellation, but that turned out to be a complete lie. After waiting weeks and still being charged my monthly membership fee, I received another email from someone named ****, telling me they couldnt cancel the membership via email after all. So now Im stuck paying for a service Im not using, and nobody is taking responsibility for the lack of help or clear communication.This is beyond frustrating, and I feel like Im being taken advantage of. Ive tried multiple times to resolve this, and each time Im either redirected or given false information. If you're considering joining LA Fitness, I would highly recommend thinking twice, as the customer service and support have been nothing short of terrible.

      WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE - NO INTERNAL OWNING OF PROCESSES and LIES I was a gym member in 2024 off ***** in ******, *****. I called in August and spoke to a customer service representative and a manager the following day once he was in the office. I think the current manager is ***, and he did absolutely nothing good. I had my ex-husband dying of cancer at the time and called for an emergency to cancel. After two calls, they agreed to cancel my membership. I was think continued to be billed from Aug until Jan 2025. I called and spoke to a manager again in February; they did cancel it without coming in this time. Which they said they do not do, but again they did. I went to corporate to get my money back, he was rude and terrible and agreed to return my money for one month, which I never saw. NOT FOLLOWING THROUGH AGAIN AND KNOWING IF HE DID NOT NOTE IT THEN IT DID NOT HAPPEN. I I also asked a manager to allow me either 5 months of free gym time since I did not know I was still a member or to credit me for the poor management. No one has gotten back to me. This was the lowest time in my life, and I thought they were doing me a favor, being caring and considerate, only to cause more issues in the long term. This is not the kind of customer service that cares. They are just using their power to try to feel better, which is indeed said. I relied on them to my detriment and thought they did what they said, and they had no way to make it better and provided no recourse during the most challenging time of my life as a single mom of two *******'s sad and not what you want from a gym.
