      Hire Right has been conducting a background check on me for an employer who I hope to start work for however, I can not start work until this background check is complete. Hire Right has yet to deliver a background check and because of their negligence and incompetence in completing this background check in a timely fashion, I am now unemployed.This background check is currently taken six weeks and I was just notified that they are extending it out another week and I am sure they will most likely extend it out again beyond that week.

      Hire right is a background check company that was hired to do my background check. Its going on 2 weeks and as you will see their documentation is the same with each follow up. Hire right is stating they are waiting for ********************** to submit information. I contacted Dyer County Courthouse and was advised that the clerk comes out three days a week to submit. She also stated they have nothing but problems out of Hire Right and Hire Right blames them for not providing the information when it is not the courthouse she stated. I have also uploaded my documentation along with many reviews and there are hundreds more back dating to 2019. I hope this gets resolved not only for me but for those going forward.

As a consumer reporting agency, we are governed by the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. 1681, et seq.(****). Nothing in that law, or any other of which we are aware, permits a consumer to opt out of having accurate information about them reported to an inquiring party, so long as that inquiring party has a permissible purpose under the *****

      HireRight has been contracted to complete a pre-employment background screening for a new position I have accepted. They have done absolutely nothing on their end to complete the last remaining task, and I have been unable to start my new role, leaving my in a position of having no income with a family to provide for.

      Case number ******** ***** SF-******-XZ28Y I am currently in an utter state of disbelief that my HireRight background check has taken over 50 DAYS AND COUNTING (submitted 3/6/2024) its still not complete. Even ******************* county records process has been back up for a while. I have called dozens of times and even spoke to managers who expedited but none have been able to get my issue resolved for Fulton County Georgia Criminal check. I am losing my mind and potentially my dream job! This situation has made me suicidal and *** lost so much already after quoting my job waiting on this one. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP.       Starting 4/8/2024, HighRight has called our office multiple times daily to try and obtain an employment verification for the INCORRECT business. Myself, my co-worker, the Payroll Director and the *************** Director have all informed HighRight that we are not *************************. We have now received approximately 40 calls and have been given social security numbers twice and we are not the correct business. The Payroll Director spoke with a supervisor yesterday and we received two calls today. I just spoke with ******** with the escalations team, so I would like to believe we won't receive any additional calls. Please be very wary about using this business for background checks or providing them with any personal information.

      I have completed over 1700 rides on the Lyft platform, maintaining a Platinum Plus status and a consistent 5-star rating. On December 31st, I gave a ride to a drunk rider who was having an argument with someone over the phone the entire time. As soon as I dropped her off, I received a message from **** stating that my account was on hold for investigation of abuse. It was a false complaint about **** provided detailed information about every rider I completed that day, but instead of reopening my app for work, they deactivated my account. They also updated this information to HireRight, which led to it being shared with Uber, resulting in my Uber account being deactivated too. I have been under so much stress for the past 4 months.I tried every forum available to appeal, but they didn't listen to me. This was the only means of financial support for my family, and this happened when my wife was 36 weeks pregnant. This news was very stressful for her. We have been facing difficulties in meeting financial needs.

      I paid $250 on 2/6/24 to HireRight for the test of my split sample. I was told I would have the results in 3-4 weeks and they would call me with the results. It is over 2 months later (4/17/24) and I have yet to receive a call from them. I call and email them several times a week, every week, only to have them continuously tell me that they have no test results for me. I lost my job of 11 years due to their negligence. This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with.

      HireRight is doing a pre-employment background check for a company I am returning to. As part of some national search they throw a random county in there in which I have never lived or worked. This one is Richland County, **. The first completion date was supposed to be 3/28. Then on 3/29 they moved the date back to 04/05 and then the next day, I found out they moved it back again to 04/10. I called the county myself and spoke with multiple departments and no one has any record of a request on my behalf. I filed an escalation case with HireRight, which is useless as it doesnt do anything and the updates are all the same. We are entering week 3 now and this one county I have never lived or been affiliated with could cost me a really good job opportunity. They also keep giving me different stories of timelines and saying they have been emailing the county which is incorrect as I found out they only respond to traditional mail.
