In August of 2022, the sales person at Solar Tree offered a free EV charger if we decided to sign with him that week. On the same day, we agreed and started the process of contracting. The installation was completed in December of 2022. The system was finally turned on in August of 2023 (a whole other issue). The assumption is that it would have been part of our installation package, but not on our bill of sale, since we were not paying for it. During this time we have contacted the sales person multiple times to get the promised EV charger. There have been deaths in the family, hospital stays, illnesses, which appear to have been tactics to avoid the agreed-upon responsibility. Even when trying to reach by phone, the response is that they'll call back, and they never do.The agreement was that we purchase the system and Solar Tree will provide and install an EV charger. This feels like a classic bait and switch. It makes it worse when the company completely ignores their customer once the initial contract is signed. We want our EV charger - professionally installed (which could require new lines and outlets). The company made a promise and has failed to fulfil.

We will be reaching out to the client to arrange installation of the ** charger. We ran into many issues, but we always intended on providing the ** charger.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
