My [now deceased] aunt entered into a contract with this company, Nationwide Tax Experts, as noted on her contract with the third party financing company *********************************. She was paying them over $300 a month until her death, at which point I paid off the balance of the loan to ****. Nationwide..... is now known as ******************* They have an account in my aunt's name. They were to negotiate down some pre-existing debt with the *** and file ********* taxes for her. They never did either of these things. So when she died, and was therefore no longer responding to inquiries from her, they figured they were in the clear. My attempts to reach out to them and get a copy of the contract she entered into with them have been futile. Phone numbers that worked yesterday are now suddenly not in service. However, her back taxes have now become my issue, as her estate executor. And those other tax returns which were never filed are going to rear their ugly heads in the not-too-distant future. No thanks to Nationwide Tax Experts! Their D- rating is well-deserved and, quite frankly, too high a rating for them. They are scammers.Initial Complaint

I hired this company back in November of 2021 to help with back taxes owed that were less than $10,000. I've not got a single phone call or update about anything involving my taxes! and the one time reached out, they said someone else had my file and would call me back, but never did. For all this I've could've used the money to pay toward my back taxes! It's been over 3 years with no resolution.Initial Complaint

Contacted for repair and reduction of *** tax debt. Went through their process and talked to Senior Tax Consultant ***** ******. I paid their fee in the amount of $2800 in three payments in 2020. I still have gotten notices from *** which I was repeatedly told would stop. No settle reduction has been obtained.Initial Complaint

In October of 2021 I entered into a contract with Nationwide *** services and I used **** to finance my loan for *******. As of yesterday 10/16/2024 my bill has been paid off. I still have not had any real resolution other than being gold that my case has been placed on a hold by the ***. They behave told me that Im supposed to receive a letter from the *** confirming this and I have yet to receive anything from them. Each time i have called recently I have been placed on hold with no one ever coming back on the line.Initial Complaint

I had a Nationwide Tax Expert assist me on stopping from my taxes getting placed on a property tax levy. I left several messages with ******, who supposed to be my tax expert and yet to receive a call back. I received a letter from the *** stating Final Balance Due Reminder - Intend to seize (Levy property). I've paid Nationwide two payments, one with ********************************** for $10,508.76 and $4,104.00 with Lending USA. I am currently still making payments with both companies and feel like I have been bamboozled out of money I really didn't have. Can someone please help?Initial Complaint

************************* at ***************** LLC *************) scammed me in May of 2022. I was led to believe that he could get resolution on my back taxes I owe the **** I was having Covid at the time. He aggressively talked me into signing up for two loans, which he said my monthly payments on would go towards paying my tax debt. After finding a new accountant, my new accountant brought this scam to light, because I am still getting letters from the *** about back taxes. After discovering that none of the nearly $500 that were taking each month was going towards the **** I thought I was doing a good thing, and I was diligent about the payments until my accountant alerted me to the discrepancy with this company. I changed my checking account number so the loan companies could no longer withdraw the money each month, and in the following months they have decimated my credit score, dragging it from 720 to 530. Now, when I call and ask for *************************, he screens and refuses my calls. This company needs to be examined because they are not helping people, quite the opposite. I have been told that I might need to take this issue to small claims court. The time and stress dealing with all this has reflected in my health. I feel betrayed and tricked.Initial Complaint

Hired Nationwide Tax Experts to reduce/eliminate back taxes owed. They required me to take out a loan with ************************* Services for the money for the Offer In Compromise and another loan through Lending USA to pay for their services. Got a notice 3 years later from IRS stating that I owe $55,000+. Never got any statements saying that NTE had even talked to the **** Seems to be a total scam company helping other lenders prey on consumers with outrageous interest rates.Business Response

There appears to have been some confusion regarding the specifics of his situation. ********************** engaged our services to handle his IRS tax matters. As part of our efforts, we have successfully facilitated the resolution of his oldest outstanding tax year and have submitted requests for hardship or Currently Not Collectible (CNC) status for his remaining balances with the IRS.

Nationwide tax experts , stole over ******* from , starting in 2020, after COVID .They had me on an auto withdraw .. they never contacted the *** or ************ tax . So now I am in trouble with both ****** tax and *** .. thinking that nationwide tax experts were handling my taxes for me . I hired Worldwide Tax Experts early 2021. For the sum of $5000 to do my taxes for five years. The only contact that we have had was in 2021. I contacted WTX and asked why nothing has been done to solve my tax debt. I was told that it was mix up and that they would contact me. That was 1-15-24, still no word. Is it possible that I can get my money back? I have all the emails that were sent to me and those that I sent. Not sure how to send.This is the second time this has happened. Hired National Tax Experts to resolve *** issues that we just could not handle on our own. For a few years we were told that NTE was working with the *** to settle the back taxes. On 12/22/20 We received a call from *************************** at NTE advising the *** accepted a settlement of $7500 but we had to pay that day. We did not have the funds so NTE put us in contact with ************************* for a personal loan to settle w/the ***. That NEVER happened, and now we are on the hook for $7500 + interest And we still owe the *** for back taxes. Why aren't these low life people in jail by now??!! I will be submitting a fraud compliant to the CA State Attorney General and the ************ Attorney General. Some one needs to be held accountable especially reading the complaints against NTE.
