    This dealership is openly scamming customers and forcing them into purchasing un-needed accessories for their vehicles. I inquired about purchasing a Tacoma and was told that I will be forced to purchase a $1995 "Paint Protection" for the vehicle because all of their vehicles come with it. This is untrue. Toyota ships their vehicles directly to dealerships WITHOUT any kind of paint protection unless custom ordered, and even then, it is only $195 for a front paint protection wrap. This is a fraudulent and corrupt business practice. I will not purchase a vehicle unless I can get it for the price advertised on Toyota.com

    The collision center was hard to locate as far as being a real Toyota shop. When I got my car there they did the estimate and I had specific concerns. The concerns I had and still have were "minimized" through ridicule. In other words I was made to feel that my requests were not reasonable. My car was new when the collision happened. It should look the same, new. The accident wasn't my fault and somehow I am apparently expected to not insist on perfection. Not unreasonable as the accident wasn't that big. It did entail the replacement of one part that was just too much for them to do, which is low quality service. But the nice young man in the shop convinced me it would look great so I believed him. The repairs took a week or so . When I went to pick up my car the first time I almost had a heart attack. The damage was worse and I left it there to have them do it again. When I picked it up a few days later it looked okay, but I hadn't approved because you never know. My car only had maybe 1,000 miles. So I'm not settling for inferior repair I bought a Toyota because of all the hype around service and quality and have been thrilled as I purchased the rav4 hybrid at Huntington Beach Toyota. They are top notch over there only they do not have a collision center. I drove a long trip and 200 miles or so I got out to get gas. When I walked out to the car I couldn't believe what I saw and that was the area that was repaired had come apart where the body parts meet and there was a flaw I hadn't noted before but they should have caught . I called the man I had been dealing with and he was not being straight with me, when I asked him if the frame was bent he went silent. He probably didn't remember off hand and when I said something about it being replaced he said... "Oh my God". What? So they get one star . Don't accept treatment like this from any Toyota dealership. The company has a great reputation and this kind of service is not what they're known for. Not impressed.
